I like how they fit over my ears. I can wear them even when not actively listening to anything because of the comfort level. They aren't too heavy and the microphone can be adjusted and bent and moved to my needs. The bright green cord means it doesn't get lost. I don't have to worry about charging them. As someone who is a bit of an anti Bluetooth girl I really appreciate that I can plug them in. I only have one device to worry about. It's the most I've ever spent on headphones, but every penny was worth it.

I've been using these for a week or two. They are real comfortable. There is something about surround sound that is advertised but you have to get an app or something that's not on the Apple Store. I didn't get it and they work good enough out of the box. Only thing I don't like is the connection port doesn't connect as firmly as I would like. Seems a little weak.

So realizing Ive had these headsets for an over a year it was only right to make a fair review of them. Also, because ironically I repurchased the exact same ones lol. I’m pretty destructive and headsets would probably last a good few months for me because I tend to throw them around(not angrily lol I just toss them when finished with use) or even found myself sitting on them at times. These have withstood all the tests. The mic is great, I love the fit as someone who has always disliked headsets because I don’t like how restricting headsets can feel. They last long and don’t break down as quickly. Maybe an ear muff came off but it’s easy to reattach. I’ll be honest I swore it was because I purchased the pc Xbox one which was on sale at the time. So it could have updated the model but I remember always having to twist the cord to hear or even be heard. However with this new model I have had no issues so far and the quality is even better from the one I had before. Only recently have I had mic problems. Otherwise I recommend especially since they made this new model, also always great to get it on sale, especially if youre new to trying any razer products. This is definitely worth it. It’s funny how long these have last for me because even with the problems I did have with the older model I still used it for a year and a half, so it’s says a lot.

I’m very happy with this headset. It was extremely easy to set up — just plug it in and it’s ready to go. No complicated instructions or extra software needed. The sound quality is excellent. Audio is clear and immersive, whether for gaming, music, or chatting. The microphone also works well and delivers clear voice quality. It’s comfortable to wear for longer periods, which is a big plus. Overall, this is a high-quality wired headset that delivers great performance at a good value. I would definitely recommend it.

You know how you don't realize that your previous headset was heavy until you buy a new one that isn't? Yeah, that happened. This particular set is feather-light yet feels well-made, and the sound is decent for the price range. Not only do I use them for long gaming sessions, but also for casually listening to music, so they get a LOT of daily use and are probably the most comfortable I've owned, sans one detail described below. On the opposite side of the coin, I had to replace the ear pads within the first week, as the originals had seams just inside the cups that were frequently digging into my ears. If you're sensitive to things like that, pay a little extra and go up to the next higher model (they were on display in my local store and the pads did not have that annoying seam, they are however a bit of a price jump) or plan on finding replacements. Additionally, the 7.1 surround sound (comes as a download link in email after registration, NOT included in the box) also leaves something to be desired. While it might be fine if you mainly play FPS games, for me personally as a non FPS player, it just muddied everything else, so I uninstalled. Overall however, I am extremely happy with this purchase, as comfort with long wear and affordability were the two top things I was looking for.

I was looking for a new headset for my PC that wouldn't break the bank, and I'm honestly blown away by the BlackShark V2 X. For this price point, the quality is just fantastic. Sound: The audio is the star of the show. In games like Call of Duty and Apex Legends, the directional audio is super clear. I can easily pinpoint enemy footsteps and gunfire, which has genuinely improved my gameplay. The 7.1 Surround Sound software for PC is a nice bonus and works surprisingly well. For music and movies, they sound great too. Mic: My friends on Discord and Xbox noticed the difference immediately. They said my voice comes through crystal clear with almost no background noise. The mic isn't detachable, but it's flexible and stays where you put it. Comfort: These are LIGHT. I can wear them for long gaming session without any of that head-crushing feeling or my ears getting hot. The memory foam cushions are super soft and do a great job of blocking out ambient room noise. Bottom line: If you're looking for a top-tier experience on a budget, this is it. It easily competes with headsets that cost twice as much.

I recently bought the Razer BlackShark V2 X and it’s quickly become my go-to headset for gaming, console, and casual use. Sound & Surround Performance Equipped with Razer’s 50 mm TriForce drivers, the V2 X delivers crisp and immersive audio. On PC, the 7.1 surround sound adds excellent spatial awareness—footsteps, gunfire, and directional cues are easy to track. The sound profile leans slightly bass-heavy, which works great for games like Fortnite and Call of Duty, making intense moments more impactful. Microphone Quality The HyperClear cardioid boom mic picks up voice clearly while rejecting background noise. It performs well in team chat and is surprisingly clear for a headset at this price point. Friends noticed the improvement in voice quality right away. Comfort & Build Weighing just around 240g with memory-foam ear cushions and a padded headband, it’s comfortable for marathon gaming sessions. The closed-back design provides decent passive noise isolation—enough to block out distractions without fully isolating you from your surroundings. Design & Usability The headset connects via a 3.5mm jack, making it compatible across PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch, and mobile devices. There’s a built-in volume wheel and a quick mute switch on the headset itself—simple but effective. The build is mostly plastic with some metal reinforcement, so while it feels light, it’s best to handle with care since the cable isn’t detachable.

They're nice. They feel light on the head and cover my (smaller) ears comfortably. They have a good feel and when paired with the software on PC, they sound great! The ear cups insulate really well and there's very little bleed out into the room. I happen to really like the volume knob on the side of the headset - no searching for buttons or hitting the wrong one on accident. However... and this may just be a "me" problem, but when they're plugged into my phone or tablet with the 3.5mm connection they're not the loudest. They're pretty quiet for this price range. In fact, I just checked them on PC and phone playing the same Youtube video on both. The PC topped them out at 90 dB, while the phone was just 60 dB. To verify just how much effect the phone was having, I tried the headset these are replacing and the other set I have. Those were 70 and 75 dB on the phone and high 80's on PC. This tells me the software is giving these a significant boost - which is fine if all you will ever use them for is gaming. Unfortunately for me, these are also meant to replace the headphones I wear at night watching movies - which is over a 3.5mm jack. To be fair, these are marketed as gaming headphones - though I'm not sure how they sound on a console - my kids only left me the PS3. I'm giving 4 stars for the comfort and the great sound on PC. If they weren't as good as they are there, they'd go back. They just don't sound quite good enough or get quite loud enough (for me) to use as an everyday headset for my phone. For those who are unfamiliar with what a 10 dB difference sounds like, 60 is a loud electric toothbrush and 70 is freeway traffic. Also, listening to prolonged sounds above 70 dB is bad for your ears, kids!

The audio quality on this headset is good for the price the only downside would be the mic not having noise cancellation that’s pretty much it. If you have a lot of background noise this wouldn’t be the headset for you.

I've been using this gaming headset for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. The sound quality is amazing – crisp highs, deep bass, and excellent surround effect, which really enhances my gameplay, especially in FPS games. I can hear every footstep and distant gunshot with precision. The microphone is also crystal clear. My teammates say my voice sounds much better than with my old headset. It does a great job blocking out background noise too. Comfort-wise, this headset is top-tier. The ear cushions are soft and breathable, and the adjustable headband fits perfectly without feeling too tight. I’ve worn it for 4–5 hour sessions with no discomfort at all. Build quality feels solid and durable. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, not too flashy, but stylish enough to complement my setup. Overall, this is a fantastic headset for the price. Whether you’re a casual gamer or someone who plays every day, I highly recommend it.

its solid headset for the price when on sale really good padding for the price sounds great and mic is great but you cant adjust the headset in terms of size so its def better for smaller head sizes and the cable is a great cable but its a right angle cable really annoying when using a controller its easy to move the cable when setting at my desk for me though it meets my needs and its built to a price which I accepted if it works for you its great but if not I would buy something else just because of those two things

A little spotty with the connection and having to use 2 separate cords for the headset is a little annoying, but the volume dial and mute button that are built into the headset are incredibly convenient. The mic quality is good and the audio quality is pretty good. If you're looking for a headset to play video games with friends without putting a hole in your wallet, this is perfect.

The Razer BlackShark V2 X is a fantastic wired gaming headset. The sound quality is clear and immersive, with strong bass and crisp highs that make games, movies, and music all sound great. The cardioid microphone picks up my voice clearly and cuts down background noise, which is perfect for in-game chat and calls. It’s surprisingly lightweight and very comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The memory foam ear cushions do a great job at blocking out external noise without making my ears feel hot. Very forgiving ear pads stay comfortable for hours. Mic is actually pretty good and cord is plenty long. Haven't had any problems but I could see the thin wire connectors braking if kids beat on it.

Given to my Granddaughter as a gift who is a avid gamer. Price was midgrade 60.00 so didn't break my bank. She's had them for awhile now and says the sound is amazing and the mic picks up great with clear voice. She loves that the headset is lightweight and ear pads very comfortable for long sessions. Her mother complains because they are so noise canceling she can't hear anything going on around her; I take that as a positive. Biggest positive I see is the durability. She's rough on stuff and these have held up beautifully. Definitely worth the money.
