Customers recognize the Blade 14's excellent performance and impressive battery life as major strengths. Many appreciate its compact size and portability, along with the high-quality build. However, some users point to screen brightness and heat as potential drawbacks, noting that the fans can be noisy under heavy load.

If you are looking for MacBook Pro level performance and build quality, this laptop is your answer. Yes, it is expensive at $1799, but it is the ultimate portable, lightweight yet super powerful machine.
Compromises are: RAM is soldered, no SD/MicroSD reader, no 16:10 display (wasted space below the display).
Even with CPU boosted mode, fan noise is not loud. Battery life is excellent. I got >12hrs of battery life without turning on battery saver in windows 10. Boot time is crazy fast. Task manager reports 3.4sec boot time! Windows hello face unlock works excellently and display covers 100% DCI P3. Trackpad is probably the best in windows laptop.
In my opinion, if you are looking for portable powerful windows laptop which you can use as laptop for more than 8hrs unplugged and game on it while plugged in, this is the best option. I hope Razer comes up with a 15" version with 16:10 aspect ratio.

The Razer Blade 14 isn’t the most affordable gaming laptop for the size but it certainly feels like the most well-built. I got the standard 3060 version and it can handle any game you throw at it, looking good.
The keyboard is nice except a couple of the keys (Caps/Enter) don’t light up 100%. The screen is actually decent despite only being 1080P, although the lack of HDR is missed.
The unit stays cool but the fans can get loud. The power brick is very large and the cord is stiff and annoying to use.
Overall, if you want the ability to do some gaming and are looking for a well made alternative to Apple, this gets the job done. Besides the logo on the lid, you’d never tell this is a gaming machine.

I purchased this laptop as a mobile work and gaming station when I'm on the road away from the main setup.
The specs allow me to do anything and everything I could possibly want, granted it's a laptop so be ready for it to get EXTREMELY hot depending on what you're doing.
I went through a stage where I used this laptop every single day for about 3 months straight and had no issues, hiccups, etc.
The screen is wonderful, though I do wish I got a QHD screen, it's not a negative about this laptop as it's still an amazing screen.
If you're going to primarily use it as a clamshell "desktop", I'd recommend getting a cooling pad or something similar as once again, it gets hot.
Razer laptop builds are phenomenal and you really can't go wrong with such a strong and sturdy laptop.
The battery drains fast(but what laptop doesn't, especially with one housing a 3060). If you're actively gaming be prepared to sit next to a power outlet.

Perfect choice for a portable gaming laptop

This Razer Blade 14 is the best choice if you want your gaming on the go. I know most people would want a laptop with larger screen for gaming but having this 14", I don't think it would compromise your gaming experience. Yes, a little more expensive compared to other gaming laptops with these specs but still, I love all the features this laptop has. I play MMORPGs and FPS and I haven't had any problems. The only thing I don't like about this laptop is that it's very easy to have your fingerprints/handprints on it. Still had to buy skin to avoid this problem.

If you’re looking for a laptop that is both portable when needed and powerful, look no further. This is truly a beast. I use it for both work and play and have to say I’ve come across no issues. I purchased the 3060 mainly because I felt the 3070 with the QHD would drain the battery much faster and I’m glad I went with the 3060. Last me about 4-6 hours doing work. Now only problem I would say is the brightness. It’s not terrible but it’s not great either.

While this isn't the perfect laptop, it definitely is up there with being a really good one. The fact that it's Razer already puts pretty high expectations on it, but it definitely meets the standard. It's small for sure, but it helps if you want to have this laptop on the go, which is partially why I got it. The downsides are how hot the thing actually gets, and how loud the fan is when it gets hot. If you plan to play for long periods of time, I would recommend just getting a keyboard so you won't have to worry about the heat. The screen itself is small as well, but it gives a sharp image. Other than that and the price, it's a really good laptop overall, but probably not the best.

This laptop is great! My only gripe is how hot it gets. I boosted the fan to its highest setting, which helped a bit. Otherwise, this laptop is great! I love how lightweight and powerful it is!

Amazing laptop. Cuts through my games like butter. Playing Elden Ring right now and have no issues whatsoever. I bought this laptop from Best Buy early last week and it had a wobble when I received it. The front left could be pushed down when on a flat surface and it would rock back and forth. I returned the laptop and decided to give two other gaming laptops a shot. I first tried the Asus ROG 14 and it was so loud and hot but it certainly performed. The second was the Alienware 15 and that was awesome except for the miserable touchpad. That touchpad would rattle and it was very loose in the chassis. Came back to my original desire and this time the laptop came with no issues. This is a beautiful machine and I would honestly say not to bother with anything else in this size because this is the one!

The best laptop I've ever had. It is powerful, rugged, sleek and has all the ports I need. Only downside is it doesn't have a native ASIO audio driver, so if you use an audio interface you will have to install that later

I found the Blade 14 FHD to be an adequate gaming machine, it performs very well for the form factor but requires some tweaking for QOL. The processor runs very hot, throttling hyperthreading is a must in power options or your fans will be pretty loud for what is meant to be a slim, portable 14" laptop. Not to mention after changing the power settings, you will at most only lose a few frames (most games I didn't even see a change), you will get much cooler temperatures, better battery life, and less fan noise. All of which I find to be very important for a device that is meant to have a small footnote.
Unfortuantely, the biggest caveat that is unfixable with tweaks is the display brightness and the price to move up to the QHD model. It is very dim when you have it side by side with the QHD model or other competing laptops. I have a hard time recommending the FHD model purely because of the dim display. Even after changing the settings to vivid within AMD Adrenalin, the display still just lacked luster. I highly recommend for the same price point to look at alternatives, such as the new G14 with 500 nits compared to the FHD blades ~330 nits.

This laptop is truly epic. Design is fantastic, combining simplicity and customizability. The screen is crisp and runs perfectly with the 3060 graphics card, all without putting an incredible load on the system. Also, the screen refresh rate literally never dips. I can game for hours and the new vapor chamber cooling tech keeps it running cool. The Ryzen 9 is why I bought this laptop over other great options, and it is awesome. I can run a ton of applications with literally zero lag in switching.
Gotta say, I love this computer.
