Absolutely love this laptop. Price probably would have been over my threshold if I weren't able to use a 10% b-day coupon on it. But it runs like a dream. The fans are fairly quiet, I use another cooling pad with fans to help cool as it will get a little hot during gaming, but this is natural for a gaming laptop. Unlike other gaming laptops it doesn't vent heat out the side where your mouse hand is (if you're right handed).
Display is gorgeous. love the QHD.
Battery life has been great for me so far. I take it to teach at a college and it lasts me the whole day with mild use. I'm plugged in while gaming most of the time.

Warped and bent chassis, swollen battery?

Unit arrived with significantly bent/bloated chassis. This was apparent immediately upon opening. The unit did not sit flat on a desk. I was able to turn the laptop on and get into windows, but the very first time I “clicked” the touchpad, it would not un-click. And therefore you can’t even left click anything in windows. With the possible swollen battery upon arrival and unusable track-pad, I have to return this unit. I wanted to like this laptop, but I am not sure if I will be replacing it with another. If I purchase another, I will update the review if Best Buy allows.

A lot of power in a small body. It gets a bit hot under heavy use, but it is still ok to use. The only thing is that RAM is not upgradable. It would rock if it had 32Gb option.

I really like the size, screen, and power of AMD blade 14. However, mine has a fan noise issue, which makes high pitch noise at low speed.

I bought this laptop mainly to use as VR capable machine with my Quest 2… and it beyond excels at that. In addition, I’ve gotten more into PC games with it while using my Xbox controller. RDR2 can be ran with basically Ultra settings at 1440p and I’m averaging 60+ fps. Highly recommend this beast all around. My only single gripe is that the corner of the touchpad, where my wrist rests, can be quite sharp.

Gah dang this thing is beautiful. I got a 14" laptop because my previous 15.6" was just too big to travel with. This one is the IDEAL size for on-the-go. Colors are beautiful and I love the customizable keyboard.
Haven't tested it full-throttle on AAA games but I'm excited to. It can handle max settings on AC Black Flag no problem!
My only minor complaint is that the power brick is almost the size of an actual brick, and weighs about as much. Not enough to knock it down even a half star. 5 star product.

This is the the best computer I’ve ever owned. It’s lightweight and powerful. While it can feel hot at times, if you check cpu/gpu temps it operates at optimal temperatures, even under heavy workloads. The fan is a bit loud but considering it’s low profile design that can be easily overlooked. This is a great gaming machine for people who travel and don’t want something bulky, but also don’t want to sacrifice any performance. The battery life is really good considering the hardware in this machine. I have yet to get the 12 hours (when not gaming) but I did squeeze 8 out of it. I would definitely buy it again.

I normally don't write reviews, but changed my mind after getting this laptop.
I previously had a Dell XPS with multiple issues and thermal throttling, none of which this Razer blade has. The screen is a little dimmer compared to the XPS, however, the Blade wins in processing power, wifi connection, and heat dissipation. Highly recommend for people who want a laptop that is going to last for at least the next few years.

While using the device during set up, the device did not get hot, the fans did not even turn on. Once everything was set up and using plex to stream media to the laptop, the fans did kick in. Comparing this laptop to my Dell XPS 15 9510, the screen was complete trash. Colors were not as accurate, and the screen doesn't get bright enough. If you are getting this laptop for media I advise you to get a Dell xps 15, you still get a dedicated GPU and a much better display. If you're mainly going to be playing video games, this is a very good machine, the display's high refresh rate makes it a very good option. The battery life was amazing, completely distroying the dell xps 15. For gaming, this laptop is about the best as it gets for the price and size, however, for watching media look elsewhere.

The Razer Blade 14 SOUNDS like a great idea. The Razer brand is synonymous with high-end gaming. So....you want a high-end gaming laptop, you get a Razer Blade, right?
The design on this laptop is amazing. All metal, very smooth...it's the PC equivalent of a Macbook. Yes, the body is a fingerprint magnet...but it looks so smooth. The keyboard is super solid. If this were my only laptop I'd be perfectly fine using it as my day-to-day go-to.
Looking at the spec sheet, the Razer Blade 14 sounds like it has everything you need. QHD screen with 165 hz refresh rate, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, GeForce RTX 3070 GPU...all of this sounds great but for a 14" chassis, it's far too much. The CPU consistently hit temperatures of 95 degrees and above regardless of what I played. Playing The Division 2 it averaged around 99 degrees. It's far too hot. I tried using a cooling pad to cool it to no effect. The GPU maintained solid temps, which, was somewhat surprising next to the high temps of the CPU. Frames per second were solid, especially considering the 3070 has a tdp of 100w. 70 - 90 FPS on most shooters. Now, me being a First-person shooter fan, 14" isn't big enough.
The 14" Razer Blade with the 3070 GPU finds itself in a weird place. It's as close as you'll get to a PC equivalent of a Macbook, and, the specs say it should be able to do some real gaming...but it gets far too hot for my comfort level, and the screen isn't large enough for first-person shooters. If you're looking for a machine to play more casual games, indie titles, etc, while also having a great day-to-day laptop, this is a great machine...but the price point is too high for that, and you might be better off going with a 3060 SKU.
