Waited to write a review after 2 years of owning it and outside the mfr warranty. Great, powerful hardware only complaint is that the slim design causes it to heat up fast and thus battery life is short.

I purchased this for my son as he love to do simulations flights and needed this computer. We are pleased with the external looks and up to this point is doing well. But again, Best Buy's service is excellent.

I purchased open box product and there was no power code. It was certified open box item so it seems someone did not certified properly obviously. I had to go back to store and got the power code finally. But it would be nicer if that was checked properly before. It is very critical for open box item to be describe exactly what is different from original package.

So far this laptop does everything I could expect it to. The only place it starts to struggle is in editing 4K videos with lots of composting. Beyond that I have had zero issues.

The 2017 Razer Blade is a very beautiful labtop, it's like a Macbook Pro with the upgrade features. Fan speed was initially a problem but updating the software drivers has fixed the issue.

Powerful laptop, and super super light! I honestly never believe this is my main machine when I'm on the go due to its weigh. Handles VR very well! The best laptop I've ever owned.

Every product line and every company has the potential for failed devices but my experience with the Blade has been great. Out of the box it's a beast of a machine. Easily handles everything I throw at it. Maybe I got a good unit...I don't know...but I don't have any screen light bleed, no dead pixels, and no hiccups. Yes, the fans are extremely loud (more so than I have ever heard on a laptop before). The fans actually annoy my wife in the other room. And yes, it does get hot but again, my experience has not been TOO hot. I don't prop the laptop up or anything either. I just set it on a hard surface. The screen is gorgeous with it's 1080p IPS display and matte finish. Colors are amazing as well. Keyboard is very nice to type on. I game a lot and the three games I've been playing on this device have been Witcher 3, Gear of War 4, and Gears of War Ultimate Ed. The Blade pushes well past 60 fps but since the screen is only 60 I keep it capped at that. All my games are played on Ultra settings--why not use that GTX 1060! Never a hiccup or stutter. Here's what I did...and this isn't for everyone...but to eliminate heat and reduce fan noise, I simply undervolted the CPU by -.110. I could have gone more but stuck with that. Dropped the CPU temp on average of 10-14 degrees C and my fans kick on high but not the ridiculous high mode that they can get too. Big difference in my opinion and very much tolerable. I used Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility to undervolt (remember, I undervolted....NOT underclocked the CPU). I don't game for hours on end but I will kill a 2 hours session and then take a break. Fans shut off immediate upon closing the games.

They did everything they said and did it fast the price was o'k not the best but support was great. Looking forward to using this for a graphics class. Seem to have the right stuff.

Easily the nicest looking laptop I have ever owned. What is under the hood is even more impressive. Quad i7, 16gb of RAM, a GTX 1060 and a 512 SSD at 4 lbs is amazing!

Nice size and great graphics card and memory. Perfect for gaming.

Much better than the Lenova we bought before. But it could be a number of issues that were updated with this purchase too. But much happier for sure.
