Customers admire the Blade 15.6" Gaming Laptop's performance, build quality, and graphics capabilities, frequently praising its ability to handle demanding tasks and deliver excellent frame rates. However, some users express concerns regarding battery life, overheating issues, and the noise produced by the cooling fans. The laptop's speakers also received negative feedback. While some found the weight acceptable, others noted the susceptibility of the device's surface to fingerprints.

Computer is excellent, love how it runs all my games. Gets pretty hot behind the laptop where it vents and it gets hot between the keyboard and the monitor.
Biggest complaint about this laptop is the finish, the black finish collects finger prints like crazy. We also have the “white” model and that one doesn’t seem to collect fingerprints at all.

This laptop will burn you! As an IT professional I have never seen a laptop that gets as hot as this on. It got so hot it physical burned my hand mutiple times. Forget about using it in your lap or using the built in keyboard for gaming.
The battery life is abysmal. Just browsing web I got a Max of 2 hours.
Mine also showed up with all the drivers out of date and no easy way to find them. You have to search razers website and use a different model laptop to find the drivers as for some reason they don't list ant drivers under this model.
Razer support was worthless on this laptop.
After many issues I took it back and built a desktop.

This computer was a beast when I first bought it. 1.5 years later and both fans have died, making horrible noises whenever the computer is turned on and coming nowhere near the necessary cooling. Additionally, the backlight on the screen has failed (I can only tell by shining a flashlight through the back logo that the screen does in fact function, just with no light). The battery life is now more pitiful than when I bought it, lasting maybe 20 mins before dying. For the price this longevity is laughable. Do NOT buy anything from Razer without the extended device protection.

Bought this 2019 BASE model as an open box. It said minor scuffs which I haven't seen and missing power adapter which was the main problem. I have yet to get this laptop on because it requires a 200w power adapter and a specific plug from Razor, I can't use any laptop charger only Razor which is the pain. If I can find one quickly I will let you know how it performs especially since open box price was $1199 from originally $1799

This is a great laptop. It is so fast, as quick as you can click on something it is opened. The battery life is good if not playing graphic intense games. When playing a game the Geforce adapter kicks in and takes more juice of course. Just surfing the web it will last around 4 hours or more.
The build quality is fantastic, the metal case is very solid. It doesn't come with any bloatware which is a plus right there.

I got this as an open box, so it had a slight mark on the lid. I have been a Mac person for the longest time and I needed a switch up, and I wanted to try pc gaming, games run amazingly! Camera is nice if you’re wanting to use it for video calls, I haven’t ran it to its fullest potential yet, but I’ve ran a couple low games and haven’t noticed anything overly insane. I’d recommend this laptop.

It’s true, the Razer Blade is the MacBook of the PC world. The price is pretty steep, but the build quality is solid. The form factor with the specs make this one of the best gaming laptops on the go.

This computer holds at 100C while gaming, even with a cooling fan. Support is 100% unresponsive, don't expect the company to do ANYTHING to help you. Its a great computer with beautiful graphics and can run anything, but its going to commit thermal suicide within the year at this rate. Not what I'd expect at all for the price of the machine, and being completely ignored is not what I'd expect from a company such as Razer.

This computer is incredible! The Razer build quality is great and it really shows in this model, I would say that Razer parallels Apple in the build quality of their laptops. One of the features I really like is the large trackpad, it almost feels like a Macbook trackpad. As for the specs, the graphics card is great and I really like the fast CPU.

Purchased this laptop about a year ago. Haven't had a single issue since.
Which, to be honest I kind of DID expect at least some issues. Switched from Razer products to Corsair shortly after this purchase, because the peripherals are cool and all, but the Razer Synapse software is absolute trash.
It'll run anything you want, and probably better than your desktop unless you built it yourself.
Runs hot when gaming at good specs-- I would recommend a fan pad or something to go underneath.
CONS:
Honestly, I am big into lights so I dig them, but you are way overpaying for the name and the "ultra slim" design. I did, and loved it once, but I would recommend saving $500 and going with the Dell G7's. Similar performance, more "girth" to the laptop, and the ports are in the back. The ports on this laptop feel cramped on the sides. Oh, and no built in Ethernet port.

I bought this laptop for my freshman year and I love it, its fast enough to keep up with all of my tabs and it's powerful enough to not slow down when I have multiple tabs open. I understand it's a gaming laptop but it has amazing funtionality for college use and running my engineering programs.

This laptop is alright. great performance and love the razer effects.
I just have a huge problem with the cooling system, this laptop gets to about what feels like 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Needs to have a cooling tray just to make this computer last through the year.
very disappointing for the price and will return to get better for around the same price.
