I have gone Through so many different laptops trying to find the perfect one until I bought the Razer Blade Professional 17 And all I can say is I LOVE THIS LAPTOP!!
The Razer Blade 17 has a large 17.3" inch screen and a super clear 4k display and it gives the ultimate gamer experience.

I will start by saying I did not want to spend this much money on a laptop since I just build my first gaming pc (Phanteks Evolve X - RTX 3080 EVGA FTW3 Ultra, 32GB Corsair Dominator 3200mhz, ROG Maximus XII Formula, Intel I7 - 10700K, NZXT Kraken Z63, 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, 1TB PNY XLR8, 2x 4TB Seagate Wolf, 1TB Samsung 850 SSD, ROG 850 Thor)
This build is the most powerful computer I have ever owned and plan to add a 3090 Strix (White) when I can afford it and maybe upgrade the 32gb to 64gb. And even possibly watercool the whole thing.
Now for the actual laptop, it's awesome! Obviously not as awesome as my tower, but it keeps up in a somewhat mobile form factor.
The display is great at 120hz, has accurate color, is plenty bright for indoors, is touch screen, can be changed to many resolutions (mostly play at 2560x1440p and 2560x1600p) for great frame rates at ultimate settings, and has great viewing angles.
The display also has four flaws.
1.) The display is glossy! Why? If you use it a bright room or outside all you see are reflections. This is a major disappointment. I have to keep moving to see certain. Parts of the screen at times or just move my Blade Pro. Though I have it in the Razer stand and I kinda doubled taped it to my desk (due to constantly being knocked around by my cats) so that's another problem.
2.) The screen lacks brightness! The screen is rated at 400nits, but seems less than that. I have to have it all full brightness during day time and sometimes I feel it's too dim. Apparently my living room is too bright.
3.) The display is awesome for working, watching videos, etc, but when it comes to playing highly demanding games that thurst for more out of your GPU and CPU this display sees it's flaw. The PC cannot handle ultimate settings on most AAA titles and embarrassingly manages to give 30-45fps. It can on not so demanding games like Overwatch, Fortnite, and so on, where it can get manage close to the 120hz advertised. But anything AAA specially if you want the RTX features will need to be played at 1440p or 1080p for 60+ fps. ( But hey that is a major upgrade over regular 1080p laptops)
4.) When you want to change between power hungry 120hz to energy efficient 60hz, the action news to be taken to Synapse Laptop System Performance and then needs to be restarted. Same action for the reverse of from 60hz to 120hz for the screen to acknowledge and make the changes.
The Battery is a joke. I mean if you want to game, you will have to keep it plugged it unless you want only about 1hr and 30mins of battery life and risking it completely shutting down in the middle of a match. Though we all know this going into buying this laptop. Luckily the Razer Blade Pro offers two modes, Optimus (60Hz only and uses CPU graphics) and GPU usage. This enhances the battery from 1.5hrs to about 5-6hrs. Nice little difference to actually enjoy a portable computer at this size.
The keyboard is a pain. It's so small! At it's gargantuant size, you would expect a decently sized keyboard but it's just too small. I have troubleaalternating between a full size keyboard and even a 60% keyboard to this as it's even smaller. But you get used to it. Some keys are rather in an ackward placevand kek travel isn't the best. Also the pressure on the keys is just not my style. I use MX Brown switches on all my keyboards so there's that. This is the worst part of this computer for me. I solved this issue by using my own wireless keyboard at all times.
The speakers are pretty loud and offer decent bass to enjoy games and movies. The sound is even loud enough to fill a medium sized room. But what shines is the dac built in. It powers my MX50 enough to sound vibrant and powerful. Deep bass and open sound stage to assist with pinpointing shots and incoming enemies. Also great for cinematic cut scenes.
The ports offered are great, though I would have wished it had two thunderbolt 3 ports. I bought a OWC thunderbolt 4 port hub which added 3 thunderbolt 3 connections to my laptop so I can add the Razer Chroma X with an enclosed RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra and the 4TB Seagate Gaming Dock (which I added a 2TB PNY XLR8) and they both work great! Though obviously I get more fps if I connect the Chroma X directly to PC, difference is about 10-15fps on my X34 at ultimate settings. But either way it adds more ports. Thought the pc itself includes:
1 - thunderbolt 3 port/usb-c
1 - usb-c port
1 - HDMI 2.0
1 - SD card reader
3 - usb 3.0 ports
1 - ethernet port
1 - combined mic/headset port
The laptop is made out of aluminum which is durable and looks like a windows Macbook Pro. Looks legit and seems extremely durable. Razer also made sure that upgrade areas are easy to access and allowed you to have access to the ram and storage slots. It originally has installed 16gb of ram and 1tb of storage. I added a 2tb PNY XLR8 on the second open slot and replaced the 16gb ram with 32gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz. Now it runs flawlessly. Though it is a finger magnet. Please clean!
I was impressed by the temps. This laptop runs pretty cool! Just make sure to keep it elevated at all times. I purchased a cooler which I haven't used as the Blade keeps it's temps under 70C no matter the game I throw at it.
Overall I think it is a great laptop, but you have to know the drawbacks that this packages comes with. Once you understand or can deal with these drawbacks, you will be satisfied with what this beast of a machines has to offer. I would recommend.

My first Razer laptop. I stopped using there peripherals but stopped because I hate cloud based drivers. I Use to be a loyal Alienware fan but there recent laptops with soldered everything and poor performance had me start looking for a new route. Razer is the Mac of windows laptops! This 120hz 4k screen is nothing short of amazing, The vapor chamber cooling does a great job. I am concerned about the factory undervolt they baked into the bios. I think I will be keeping this one around. The build quality and performance is nothing short of top notch. I have heard some horror stories about Razers support which does have me concerned a little,

Great laptop with solid build materials and the ability to upgrade the SSD (2 m.2 slots) and RAM (2 ddr4 slots). Paying for the construction and materials competitive with Apple

It's a sleek, fast gaming rig. The Razer Blade Pro 17.3 is delightful. Some folks have claimed issues with cooling, but I have had no issues. The minimal border on the screen keeps this 17" monitor in a small a chassis as possible. Likewise, the full-metal body helps with cooling. I'm happy to have it, and I look forward to years of service.

Nice laptop except for the price. You'll find other laptops with more standard components like 32 GB RAM and fingerprint reader for hundreds less. Here are the biggest issues I have with it:
1. Needs a higher refresh screen to compete with offers from Dell, Alienware, MSI, Asus, Acer and Gigabyte.
2. At 6.3 pounds, its a heavy beast. Not meant to travel with.
3. The RTX 2080 S Max Q is on the same performance level as the RTX 2070 which can be found on much cheaper laptops.
4. Sharp edges dig into your wrist and palms across the keyboard surface. Can be very uncomfortable when typing. The edges also bring nicks very easily.
5. Razer got rid of the IZGO and G-SYNC touchscreen panels found on the old Razer Blade Pros. Without G-SYNC, you'll notice motion blur and image tearing on racing games like Forza Horizon 4.
5. Webcam is awful - 720p and 1 megapixel.
