Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the Blade Pro 17.3" gaming laptop's sturdy build quality and sleek design, praising its excellent performance in various tasks, including gaming. However, some users experienced issues with the speed of the secondary hard drive and the wireless card's connectivity. Overall, the positive feedback on build and performance outweighs the negative comments regarding the hard drive and wireless capabilities.

Kudos to sleek design, but read my full review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a good machine, nicely designed. I will point out the bad stuff here to set your expectations. If you believe you will have to upgrade the memory to 32GB, please make sure to do it while ordering it. BestBuy website offer only 16GB, so please make sure to call them and apply the upgrade the ram to the order, otherwise you will waste money if you try to upgrade it later. Please try to order from a physical store as an alternative. Wireless connection is slow. Even if you didn't notice in the beginning, give it some days, it will become clear. Not sure if this thing gets bad over time. To be clear, my Macbook Pro on the same room and desk don't have this issue. 2TB harddisk comes with this system is slow, as you clearly noticed that I had to mention it here because it really bothered me certain times. If your room do not have enough cooling, this machine tends to become slow as the system heat rises. So make sure to provide enough a/c or fan in the room. Windows 10 version comes with this machine is for home use only. If you have plan to run VMware, please make sure to upgrade it to pro. When you buy online, it doesn't give you free one year Office 365 access, so please make sure to get it from the physical store.

Very Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Laptop, Using it for Oculus Rift, no Issues out of the box, easy setup. I wish it had more usb ports. Also the track pad can leave somethings to be desired. But I imagine most people who get this laptop are going to be using a mouse or something else with it. The rgb effects are cool, it's got a very nice look to it. Slightly heavy, but what did you expect magic? Solid performance, no issues or hiccups setting anything up. If you have they money go for it.

Impressive design, but please read my full review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Sleek design, not heavy like other gaming laptops and has professional look Primary harddisk is fast enough due to being SSD Good graphics display and keyboard brightness controls Volume key is really easy to use due to its design. Can adjust volume as needed whenever you need. Arrow keys are located in an unexpected manner. I found myself pressing 'fn' key instead of right arrow many times a day. Cons: Comes with only 16GB memory when ordered through BestBuy Wireless reception is poor, my macbook pro nearby do not have this issue Secondary 2TB harddisk is slow, not enough for an expensive machine like this Make sure room is cool enough, otherwise system will slow down

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent gaming computer, quick boot up, great keyboard, love the touch pad location (doesn't get in the way), vivid colors, very thin for a gaming computer... over all really lovin' this computer as far as gaming laptops go!

Great Laptop for any on the go gamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop when it first went on sale for 1999$ about two weeks ago, since then it went on sale for 1799$ and thankfully I was able to get refunded that 200$ it is a great laptop for any gamer who can’t lug around a monitor and tower (such as a college student like myself). The keyboard works wonders,Razer has yet to let me down. I would highly recommend.

Better than Razer Blade 14
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought this to replace the Razer Blade 14. It is much quieter than the Razer Blade 14. I'd only recommend the Razer Blade 14 if you play with headphones. The Razer Blade Pro FHD you can play games without headphones, since you don't get that vacuum cleaner sound with the Razer Blade 14. However, the sound from the speakers are just OK, the bass could use some punch. Upgrading the mechanical hard drive to a 2.5" SATA III 2TB SSD was easy and there appears to be another slot open for a second NVME drive. It would be really easy to keep an entire game library on this laptop. The 120 Hz screen is great. I didn't know what I was missing until I tried one. For older games you might have to limit the frame rate with something like RivaTuner, but it is worth the extra hassle. It works good with the Razer Core eGPU, but the Razer Core's fan for the power source whines like the Razer Blade 14 under load. You will want to get some noise cancelling headphones if you plan to use it with the Razer Core (though it's no fault of the laptop). As of 19-MAR-2018 there is no firmware update for the Spectre vunerability for the Razer Blade Pro FHD. The Razer Blade 14 does have a firmware update however.

A Great Laptop All-Around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This latpop is a real beast, and the Razer Chroma makes the whole thing even more appealing on the outside. On the inside, it can run most of my demanding and unoptimized games (like Friday the 13th: The Game and Dead by Daylight) on high or ultra at 60+ FPS. The only real problems I have with it are the fact that the keyboard will sometimes "stop responding," but this only happens once or twice a week and lasts for literally two or three seconds before it comes on again. This can probably be fixed by disabling Chroma anyway. I don't understand the complaint about loud fans, they're about as loud as a typical gaming laptop, which I don't mind. The biggest problem I have with it is apparently, after a year or two of use, the laptop can show signs of battery bloat, so I've heard a warranty is recommended. But all in all, it's a great machine.

My son loves his Razer and worth every penny!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the 15 in. and decided to get my son a gaming laptop. Hardware is awesome and plenty of display to play games. I see this laptop lasting five years and more! I recommend any Razer, note customer service may have issues from other reviews I have seen. But, I think the product will last a long time without the need of customer service - Razer.

Great laptop and looks great too
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build of this laptop is top notch. It’s incredibly thin with a metal chassis. The weight of the laptop is surprisingly light for a 17 inch. All of the specs are at the top of its class for the price range.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is very good, I have used to to play Fallout 4 with no drops in frame rates. Runs good, I would recommend getting a Targus Chill Mat with it because it has 4 integrated usb ports for "peripherals".

Very quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer - Blade Pro 17.3" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 2TB Hard Drive + 256GB SSD - is a very quiet computer you can't hear it at all. It is very heavy but the optics are fantastic. The larger screen is easy to see which is important when you get to be older. I haven't used it to play any high end games yet but am very pleased with the computer.
