I use this mouse for gaming 1st and 3rd player shooting games. It works very well. Buy the Razer medium size gaming mouse pad. They work well together. The gaming performance increases with the pad.

It's customizable enough to make it yours, but not so much as to be cumbersome. I love it. Best mouse since my old Logitech from '07.

Being a hardcore gamer, I needed to upgrade my basic wireless mouse into a mouse more suited for gaming. My wireless mouse only 3 dpi settings, and all of them wouldn't meet my expectations sometimes for certain games, plus the buttons were a little stiff to click, so I looked into some gaming mice, and I've always had my eye on the Deathadder Chroma. I've always been a fan of Razer's gear and tech, so easily it was an easy choice for me and I went with it. Only other Razer mouse I've ever used was the 2013 Deathadder, but it was my brother's so I got this for myself. I instantly have fallen in love with it. I like the way it feels in my hands; I have smaller hands and it feels great, I love the grips on the sides, making it easier to hold and not slip out of my hands. The left and right mouse button are indented for the fingers as well, and it does not take much pressure to click, which is very helpful for clicky-demanding games (Starcraft 2 for me). One main feature I really like is in the Razer Synapse app for the mouse (and keyboard if you have a chroma keyboard) is that you can change the DPI from a wide range, from like 100 to 16000 (don't quote me on that because my DPI settings is defintely in there, but it's wide), so that I can use settings adjusted perfectly for any game. An extra feature is the lighting of the mouse is pretty cool (to me), in the Synapse app again you can adjust to have the mouse to have a solid color you want, or a rotation of colors (which I use). All in all, I'm very satisfied with this mouse, especially for the price. I got it at a deal as well, so I couldn't complain at all. Very recommended for PC gamers.

Most of us know that RAZER DEATHADDER is awarded for best mouse multiple times. So what more can i say, it fits its accomplishments ! The design is simple, grip is perfect and accuracy is at its best. Perfect for gaming either you play moba, fps or any other. And ofcourse the lighting witch you can synchronize with other razer chromas is satisfying. Soon i will get full setup of RAZER CHROMAS!

I bought this mouse to replace my older Deathadder which had a rubber top and was starting to get kind of sticky and feel weird since the rubber was coming off after years of use. Love the color changing ability and the mouse feels responsive and smooth. I also like the plastic slightly textured top which will help keep the mouse clean. The change from a white mouse wheal to a black one should help from the mouse appearing dirty. The rubber grips on the side of are also a nice touch. Over all I am very happy I made the purchase.

    Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse

DeathAdder series a great barebones mouse for those who wish to have the quality, comfort and accuracy of a gaming mouse without all the flash. Software included allows you to change the lighting to 1 of up to 16.8 million customizable color options to fit the rest of your gear. You can also customize the buttons wiht the software as well. It looks great, feels great and, as it’s a Razer product, performs outstandingly well. The addition of the side grips are justified and will give you a more controlled grip throughout gameplay.

I bought this mouse for 2 reasons. 1- It's a Razer, so the customization options exceed any expectations I have for a mouse. For example, the lighting of the Razer logo and the wheel. The 2 side buttons can be used for any button available on your keyboard, I use alt and control for mine. And you can customize the speed to your liking. 2- I liked the size of this mouse, and the fact that it is wired. A lot of things anymore are wireless, but I feel that mice are always something that needs to stay wired if you want a quality product with good response. Maybe it's just me but I don't know.

I can't recommend this mouse enough. I purchased one to replace a MAD R.A.T. 7 which died on me suddenly. I liked this mouse so much I bought a second one (1 for work and 1 for work). When I found my R.A.T. 7 was working again, I couldn't bring myself back to using it. It's large enough for my hands but isn't obtrusively so. It's curved *just right* for my hand without jeopardizing ergonomics or making me learn a new hand position. There aren't a bazillion different buttons on it to confuse the non-gamer: just your standard left and right click, scroll wheel / center click, and forward/back buttons. The included software lets you create multiple profiles for different applications (in other words, re-map buttons based on what program you're in), change the sensitivity of the sensor, and the color of the LEDs. My only objection to the software is that you have to create an online account (meaning you have to have internet when you set it up), which is a tad off-putting for someone like me. However, it wasn't a deal-breaker. Bottom-line - I would purchase this again in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you do so as well.

I have large hands and this is the only mouse I have ever used that feels comfortable. The buttons are placed just right and the accuracy and response time is very good. It works great on any surface, but it works best on a Razer mouse pad. The software has calibrations for specific types of mousepads to fine tune accuracy.

Been using for about a week now. Price was a little high...but you pay for quality when purchasing gaming components for you PC. I find it comfortable for the most part. would have been nice if there was some sort of a slight "lip" that would have been used as a thumb rest but otherwise not bad. I found that the side buttons were a little to far forward for my liking but I suppose that is more of personal preference depending on hand size and the position an individual normally holds their mouse. Overall I like it though!.

Great mouse fits great in your hand with nice customization options. It's also very responsive and accurate with a great price of only $65, I've used mice that cost the same but not nearly as nice as this razor.

I'm in love with my new razer mouse. I'm a huge CS-GO gamer and this mouse fits my play style perfectly with all the customizations that come with the mouse and the synapse (2.0). This is actually my first razer product and I can tell you I'm never switching to any other (real) gaming company again!

I used to have a Mad Catz Rat7 mouse that recently died on me so I decided to try out Razer. I have to say that so far I'm really impressed with the responsiveness and comfort. Typically after gaming for an hour or so with the Rat my wrist would start to bother me but so far no problems going 3+ hours using the DeathAdder. The chroma functionality is a nice touch (not a need for me) but I did end up modifying my rigs color scheme to be the Razer green and it was pretty quick to get going (after you get the Synpase driver stuff installed which took a while for some reason). Overall it's a solid mouse with good performance and nice comfort.

I've had the first version of the DeathAdder that came out a few years back and I loved it. I recently had to replace it because I broke it and wanted another. I decided to upgrade to the Chroma version. What I like about this one is that it has rubber grips on the sides where your thumb and pinky rest. The older one had a glossy finish that made it a bit slippery at times. Having the ability to change the colors of the LEDs is nice too. I honestly don't think anyone needs a 10,000 dpi optical sensor but it's there. Been using it for about a month now and so far no complaints. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves the original.

Pros - responds well for gaming and general tasks - very comfortable - very well built - color can be customized and logo can even be hidden if it does not suit your style - can be customized for different functions Cons - the software is not the greatest - constant updates to the software and firmware upgrades for the mouse can become a bit annoying Overall Highly recommended

If you don't like mice that have all kinds of different bells and whistles, this is one to consider. There are only 3 additional buttons (mouse wheel click and 2 buttons on the left). You won't ever notice the buttons on the left, but I do accidentally click one every once-in-awhile. The accidental click is very very rare. The mouse is also fatter. Small or standard size mice will make my hand cramp up. The size of this is perfect so my hand is resting comfortably.

The Razer DeathAdder Chroma Optical Gaming Mouse is an excellent addition to any gamer’s computer accessory lineup. The mouse is extremely comfortable to use, be it for hours of gaming or even for day to day activities. This is the most comfortable, precise, mouse I have ever owned and I will not be going back to regular optical mice after this. The bright colors can be completely customized or even disabled using the software from Razer’s website. I highly recommend this mouse for any gaming enthusiast.

I'd bought a Razer keyboard, and decided I wanted a Razer mouse to manage everything under Synapse. I settled on this one to replace a Logitech G700, despite my doubt that it'd really stack up. Imagine my surprise, then, when I realized that I actually like the Deathadder better. Simply put, it's the most ergonomic gaming mouse I've used. Visually, it looks like it should be smaller, but it feels slightly longer and has less of an arch, which is perfect for my palm grip. The scroll wheel provides just enough resistance that you won't move it accidentally, but not so much that it's tiresome, either. It has just the right amount of curve, and my thumb naturally rests so that it can easily click the front thumb button with the tip of my thumb or the rear one with the joint, but neither button protrudes noticeably. There's textured rubber material on the bottoms of the edges for those times when you need to pick the mouse up. My only complaints, and neither are enough to warrant taking away any stars, are that the mouse is lighter than I was expecting (but something that I'm quickly adjusting to) and that the ability to customize the lighting is sort of wasted, because the Deathstalker keyboard doesn't come in a Chroma version. I have the Deathadder set to static green to match the keyboard.
