This headset is on par with Turtle Beach headsets. The only draw back is that it is wired. But, for the price of these headphones the performance can't be beat.

They look and sound great. The two lights on the side can be any color you want. These 7.1 headphones make everything sound better. A couple minor issues: The surround sound is powered by the driver, so you must have Razer Synapse installed in order for the 7.1 to work correctly. Both sides of the headphones have to be set to the same color. You cannot have two different colors on display at once.

I ended up returning the headphones because they were so bad. The sound was excessively boomy with no clarity up high. Yeah, the bass is pretty intense, but I like the 18,000hz above it too. The USB cord is abrasive so all you hear in your left ear is the cord rubbing against your clothes. The software is TERRIBLE. It's buggy and requires you to login to their server just to use it. It also automatically signs you up for cloud storage AND the program runs in the background. Maybe you think, forget that, I don't want to use the software if it's that messed up. Well then you don't get full surround sound control. Maybe you want some controls on the headset for changing songs or volume, nope. Overall, I think they are overpriced junk. I was trying to find a replacement for my G930's. In theory, that shouldn't be too hard with all the issues they have, but this fell waaaaay short. Still using the 930s.

Sound is great and the mic is as well. It was really easy to set up as well!

This headset was originally a gift for my brother.. however, I opened it early to make sure that it worked properly. Needless to say I fell in love with it.

Everything about these headphones is great except... The ear pieces don't quite go all the way around my ears. I have an average ear size and most over ear headphones fit nicely around them. These rest on my ears and cause slight discomfort after prolonged usage. That being said... They are great in every other way. They look and sound fantastic and have a very durable construction.

Delivers great sound. Looks great. Very heavy and ear cups do not breath well.

This headset is great for the money. I like the software it comes packaged with as well. It really lets you dig into the settings and customize the headset's performance. I wish it had a way to make multiple profiles though for different games. If you have a PS4 and want to use it, it will intermittently work. Use a different headset for the PS4.

It has great sound quality. However there are better headphones out there to buy so it's not worth the money.

Both my wife and I use the Razer Kraken Chroma's. We love the sound and microphone quality. My wife likes that they are chroma's at match her gaming set up (all razer chroma) beyond that we were looking for something that had the Dolby 7.1 surround and these are fantastic. I've had turtle beaches to sennheiser and I love my Kraken Chroma's.

Got for my son for Christmas. He raves about how good the sound for his gaming and how much better they are than previous headphones!

Sound is beautiful. Good quality equipment, comfortable.

Since these headphones are CoreAudio compatible, they'll work with any PC. Apple included. they also work with the iPhone and iPad through the use of a lightning-to-usb3 adapter, which is spectacular. the sound is excellent and nobody complains about the microphone in my online games. overall, another excellent Razer product.

I really like this headset. Hands down it is one of the best. I also like the fact it can have different colors for that unique look.
