Really tight on my head, only because I have a huge head but the bass is not tight at all and honestly just gave me a headache.

I love this headset! This is my second Kraken headset. I had the older model with out Chroma and I loved it so much I had to get the new one! The head set is extremely comfortable you can wear this thing for hours and not even notice. The speakers are amazing! 7.1 Surround Sound! Also, through Razer Synapse you can edit all your settings and fine tune your EQ, Bass, Volume, everything! The sound is amazing quality, everything sounds great. The mic is great, its very very clear. The best part is its retractable so when your not using it, you just push it into the headphone speaker. Also you can mute the mic with a simple button press and on this model the mic glows an obvious red color when its muted, so you can see it out of your peripheral vision. The final thing to mention is the Chroma feature. I know a lot of people think "why do i need my headset to light up I can't even see it"... and thats true, you don't see it. However, its an awesome feature and I love it. I am on video almost all the time so viewers can see it and it just looks really cool. When you set the headset down on the desk it glows in what ever color you want or what ever color Chroma is going through. Chroma scrolls through 16.8 million colors and if you have other products everything syncs up so it shows the same thing. Its awesome!

The headsets were great. I love the color feature of the chroma headsets. The audio is great and so is the surround sound. Just download the driver and your surround sound should to be working really well. The only reason this product loss a star was that it has no other controls on the wires nor the headset it self. You must control volume with your computer, unlike the Logitech G series.

Razer has consistently released great products, these headphones are definitely among some of the best I've ever bought. The sound quality is great with a rich deep bass and the microphone is awesome. Retracts and extends with no problem and the mute button on the microphone is a great touch. Now we get to the LED's, I love the fact I can custom create the color(s) I want to show, let's also not forget about the different modes. I like the spectrum effect and the static color, not to fond of the breath effect. All in all the headphones quality are excellent!

I absolutely love this headset. I am a huge fan of the whole Razer lineup. As a casual gamer, my headset needed to be versatile for movie watching and other applications. Most 7.1 headsets really break the bank, but at $100, this one is awesome. Also it is super comfortable for over the ear. I can wear it for extended periods of time. Also, the hidden extendable microphone is great since I can tuck it away when I don't need it. This is a great headset for both beginners, and hardcore gamers. I recommend this to everyone!

I was tired of having little to no bass with my previous headset, and so I went out and bought this one. Right out of the box I was impressed with it. Not only does it look great, it sounds even better. The first time a bomb exploded next to me in-game, I was startled by how deep the bass goes on this headset. Not only is it great with games, it is equally as good with just playing music. Great upper audio range, fantastic lower range. I have no regrets with it at all.

Probably the best sound I've ever gotten out of any headset, whether for music or gaming. Performs phenomenally both at low volume and high, and the headset itself is amazingly lightweight and comfortable, fitting even my large head and ears easily and letting me focus on whatever I'm doing without any distraction or interruption for the sake of comfort.

Picked it up, plugged it in, synapse recognized it, no sound during calibration. Swapped with other headset, volume worked. Tried last ditch to plug into PS4 to see if it was a windows problem and same, pretty lights but no sound. Going back.

I like that is syncs with my other chroma devices for color, and the sound is as good as other headphones I have tried. (really good!). But you can't see the color changin while you are wearing the headphones. Duh! If you care what others see, then get this! if you want the best quality at the best price, there are probably other headphones that can do the job.

This headset sounds amazing. The microphone is crystal clear. The only qualm I have with them is when the cord rubs on a shirt, you can hear it in the headset. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. I have a few of the Razer product lineup and I haven't had a problem with any of them.

I have been looking for a nice set of PC headphones for awhile now. I already own a few Razer products, all in the Chroma Family (DeathAdder Chroma & BlackWidow Chroma). So when looking for a new pair, I decided to check out Razer's selection. I compared them to other headsets made by other competitors and also read a lot of reviews. And after weeks of research, Razer's name kept coming up. So it was only a matter of choosing the right one from Razer that best fit my needs. And yup, you guessed it, I decided to go with the Kraken 7.1 Chroma. The fit my head nicely and are very comfortable. I don't have a big head so they don't hurt after awhile of wearing them. The sound is clear and crisp, and when using these in conjunction with Razer Synapse software, the 7.1 surroiund sound is amazing. The mic is digital and is great for when I game or have an online conference call while working from home. Plus the ability to change the color of the logo on the sides is kinda cool. I love these headphones and I believe they are worth every penny. The team at Razer makes excellent products and have earned a customer for life.

This RAZER KRAKEN 7.1 CHROMA headset is at its best quality. Fits lieke a glow, comfortable. Easy adjustable. LED lights in 16.8 million colours combined with base black looks jus amazing! I cant wait to get full set of chroma accesories from razer ! Razer cult just got me with this purchase of mine !!

Comfortable over ear headset. The Razer logo lights up and changes colors. The microphone that pulls out lights up red at tip to let you know it is on. This is USB connection only. Sound is good and goes to great with the srround sound you can download when registering the product. Great for gaming or everyday computer use. Long high quality USB cord. Another great Razer product.

I tried the Razer Kraken 7.1 and the Logitech G930, you cant even compare the 2, Razer is far more superior in the Surround Sound, The Audio is fantastic, It feels like your inside a movie theater. I would never waste money on another brand after I tried the Razer. The fit is comfortable the voice mic is excellent. The best product I would have to say for gaming.

Almost as easy as plug and play, just download the software when automatically prompted. After that I had great sound, in a comfortable headset. Friends on teamspeak can hear me much better than with my old desk mic. Works really well with teamspeak. I don't miss any of the in game sounds, and can still hear everyone clear as if they were sitting in the same room.

I never knew the nuances i was missing from the sound of a game until i got these headphones. The sound was just something in the background that i didnt think much about, but these headphones changed that. They are comfortable for hours, block out a lot of sound, such as my girlfriends horrible tv shows, look cool, and have pretty lights. Awesome headphones!

This is an excellent 7.1 surround sound headset, as usual razer has brought out a great headset at a great price. The mic quality absolutely amazing, although I do wish you could customize the lighting on the mic. The options for colors on the ear impressive and I love that feature, but the white color is not as white or as bright as the white on the mic but I love the mute button on the mic. That has come in handy many times. Extremely comfortable design for extended use, it doesn't feel heavy while wearing it, very good audio quality and I love it. The only thing I have to say bad about it is that since its a braided fiber cord, every time you move the cord, you can hear it in the left ear cup but I wouldn't take it back or dislike this product just from that.

Not the biggest computer gamer, play every now and then. First headset bought for gaming and it is great. The bass is a little much, but most computers have the ability to just apply a high pass filter. The filter will solve any loud bass problems. The headset is well built and rivals the sound that my $300 Astro A50 PS4 headset puts out. They do fit a little tight the first day, but the pamphlet provided specifically tells the user to stretch the headset out to prolong the use. That worked like a charm. So if you are looking for an inexpensive headset around $100 look no further. It also utilizes the razer synapse software, and further adjustments can be made in the software. Very happy with the purchase, and will continue to buy more products from razer.

I bought this headset after reading multiple reviews of this product. I can happily say that I am 100% satisfied with my choice. They're very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Though they seem a tad bit heavy straight out of the box, you will get used to it in a small matter of time.

First, I'll give you the good. It has really good sound right out of the box without messing with the EQ. The surround sound also works quite well. It's easy to set up with the razer synapse software. The mic works well and retracts into the ear cup (which I like better than a folding mic). Now for the bad. Not comfortable at all. It says it is an over the ear design, and that would be true if you have perfectly circular, tiny ears, which as far as I know, most people don't. It baffles me that a company like Razer still makes circular ear cups for their headset. Ears are not circles. There is a lot of padding on the ear cups to offset their terrible shape, but it still presses on your ear like an on ear headset. Lastly, there are no in-line or on ear volume controls. Seriously Razer, step it up.
