Just purchased this a few hours ago, absolutely loving it so far. Although, I do seem to get startled whenever someone fires a shot in World of Tanks. :P

Got these for Christmas and all i can say is wow. The sound quality is amazing along with the surround sound and who doesn't like changing colors.

I used to be a huge logitech fan gf moved in with me switched me to all Razer peripherals I'm never buying any other products. Over the past month I have purchased The Razer Naga 2014,The Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2014 and the Kraken Chroma 7.1 soon to be getting a mouse pad for Christmas NEVER NEVER buying any other brand peripherals RAZER is A+ every other brand is lesser quality

I've had a few pairs of gaming headsets and these are by far the best I have ever purchased!

Bought because it matched mouse,but the sound quality is amazing. Now I want the keyboard.

I gave these a good 20 or so days to work for me, but there are a few problems that I couldn't deal with. I was a razer fangirl, but this was the last straw for me buying their products :/ Pros Noise cancelling. Decent Bass. Cons Ear pain, head pain, just general discomfort. Razer synapse is a terrible program. My mic didn't work correctly half the time unless I constantly went into the software to mess with settings to make it work. The other half of the time I was coming through not so clearly. Razer synapse also began crashing immediately after every attempt to open it. The fix? Reinstall, completely delete some of the folders, reinstall, and hope. In order to make the mic work properly, I also had to make sure -everything- in playback and recording devices was *Disabled*, not just disconnected, and set the levels to 15. There are tutorials on this as this is a common problem for this headset.

This headset is all around amazing. It has great sound, a great microphone (I have been using it a lot lately and my buddies all say that it is an improvement), and the color custumization is a very cool feature. It is great because it allows you to have a freedom of choice in what you want. Again, it is an all around great headset. I think it will last me a long while.

My issue with having them for over a year now is the cord is all knot up and tangled and continues to be even after I untangle. The other problem I had with them is the sort are rough and hurt your ears after a hour or so of wear. The 3rd problem I had was with certain voice programs like skype,ventrillo or other was I had to keep switch the usb ports it was in when I would use voice chat I couldn't hear my music I was also playing on my computer

Very nice product easy to setup and the quality of material is very good. Thank you razer again for this great product

They're fine. I got them on sale. Integrates with thee software. Long sessions they actually give me a headache.

This device has been nothing but frustrating! I was able to install initially without problems. The sound was pretty good and full of bass. After a few days though, it started to have problems - it would suddenly stop working. After some minor troubleshooting (i.e. moving to another USB port) it would work again. After a few more days it wouldn't work at all. I uninstalled and re-installed the software, tried other USB ports, even updated my motherboard drivers (chipset, USB, and audio). The headset would receive power (lights turned on), but wouldn't be recognized by the Razer Synapse software and had no audio. As a side-note, when I tried installing XSplit Gamecaster 2.1.x I had errors. After I removed the Razer Kraken, XSplit worked just fine. I had the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma for approx. 3 weeks and although I like a number of Razer's other products, I will be exchanging this for a different product.

My son likes it, it replaces a much more expensive one for him that broke. Hopefully it will last longer.

I've been looking for another headset since my son likes my current ones. I read some reviews that say these are not comfortable during long gaming sessions. I couldn't stand to wear them for more than 15 minutes. They're actually quite painful. Sound quality was ok. I did not hear an improvement over my G930's. I ended up returning them and buying another set of logitech G930's.

Four monthes ago, I got this headset for my birthday, and it worked great for three monthes before it broke. The wire frayed to the point that it hardly ever connected, so I sent it in on it's warranty. After two weeks of proccesing the new one came in, which the right ear stopped working after only two days.
