Easy setup, comfortable fit, good quality sound would buy again

So I didn't read reviews on the headsets which was my first mistake but I thought the associate working in the department would have knowledge on them well some knowledge to at least help the customer make a decision. After talking to the associate it came down to this headset I was sold on the surround sound for the FPS games (also works well on all games) my concern was the reach of the cord. I was informed it was no problem for any system as it would just plug into the headphone jacks on the remotes themselves.........wrong it must plug into the USB port on the systems which creates a problem since my systems are a good 8 feet away and the cord is a short 5-6 ft. The headset works great but the only complaint is the short cord which I guess can be fixed by purchasing an extender cable.

This headset is the "beesknees"! I can't be happier with these. The sound is incredible and the virtual 7.1 sound feels real. I can hear pinpoint directional sounds which helps me with my gaming, My friends say my microphone is loud and clear. The custom lighted cups are just icing on the cake. Braided cord looks as nice as it will be durable.

Purchased this headset for birthday present for son. I cant get them off of his head!! He really likes them and he is a very hard person to shop for or please....NO complaints from him....He said they are not heavy on his head like the last one i bought him...

The headphones sound great, the 7.1 surround works well too. I do wish the software was a bit better. The software installs a virtual surround sound device. I have changed the defaults to other devices but when I reset my computer it selects the virtual surround device again. A bit aggravating, but I don't reset my computer that much and it's only a few clicks. I have a large head and the headphones fit very tightly at max extension. It makes it a little uncomfortable after hours of gaming. The ear cushion also suctions around my ear, which you can feel when pulling it away from your head. Great sound; eh.. software; a bit tight for larger heads

Bought these after having an issue with our previous set, the wires snapped. Even though we had bought the warranty on the previous set, the store would not honor it. After deciding these would be nice (they have the nice wrapped cord) the salesperson was able to reduce the price. Have had no trouble so far. Collapsible mic is a plus.

I feel Drenched in gaming environments through the Razer's 7.1 ULTRA surround sound... It has even helped me locate action or avoid enemies by listening to which direction they were shooting at me from...

Sweet upgrade to my Razer Megaladon headset that decided to finally give out after 2 and half years. well worth the money, sound is awesome, mic works wicked good...would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants a good headset and the price was just right

This is what I expected from a headset. It sounds good, but has one pretty big flaw. The cord is like a braided cloth which creates a loud sound when anything rubs it (e.g. You move your head) that travels up the cord. It is incredibly annoying. To simulate what I'm taking about, press your palm to you're ear to seal it up and scratch the back of that hand. I try to position the cord so it won't rub my shirt when I move. It's a stupid flaw that I wonder if others suffer from.

I recently loss the use of the headphone jack on my pc and this product allows me to use it correctly since there is no need for the jack. Sound is so good I have to reduce my volume just to not blow out my ear drums. Love this.

Great bass. Love the headphones. Got it for cheaper than other places. Comfortable on the ears for long extended usage. Mic is clear. Love it so much that bought an extra set

Purchased the Razer Krakens for computer Gaming. The sales person at Best Buy recommend this headset. My son loves the 7.1 surround sound & the noise background elimination. Overall he's very happy with this headset .

My son purchased the headset for PC gaming. The sound quality is excellent, with great detail and clarity. The headset immerses you in the gaming action and almost completely blocks out the surrounding environment. My son uses the headset a lot (sometimes too much), but he loves it!

This is a really good surround sound headset! I could hear every little footstep from around me during a COD or Counter strike game. Unfortunately it started hurting my ears after 3 hours. Good headset for people with smaller ears lol. Otherwise this is probably one of my favorte headsets!

I was not very confident buying this headset because I had issues with the previous version but I went ahead and got it. It has wonderful surround sound. I like how it separately gives you like discord with your friends and then the game. What I mean by that is your friends sound normal and the game has great surround sound so you can tell exactly what's going on and not have a horrific echo of 7 friends in a call. My only concern for this is the software. It likes to bug out very often and I couldn't get my headset to hold just one color. I had to completely removed the software.

I use this for Vent and it's perfect. Guildies never have a problem hearing or understanding me and I hear them loud and clear. On the few occasions I've used it to listen to music they've sounded great. I've yet to be disappointed by a Razer product.

Was A xmas present for my 14yr old son. It wasn't his 1st choice but I read great reviews on it and made the choice myself. He is absolutely thrilled with my choice! He didn't know how great of a headset it was. Now he's happy I made the choice.

Plug n' play with Windows 7, so setup was very fast & easy. I thought it was fun to be able to choose the color for the light effects. The mic boom was trick...it pushes back into the left earphone. And again, the sound was mind blowing spectacular!
