This is actually the 2nd i bought. The first was gor my oldest son who is an avid gamer and says this is the best he's owned and certainly the best for the price. When it was time to buy a headset for my 2nd son, thos was a no brainer.

I've gone through a number of different styles of gaming headsets by Logitech, Plantronics and a few other not well known brands. I've had larger heavy ones with a thick overhead band, lightweight ones with a thin band that goes over your head, ones with a thin band that goes behind your head or your neck, in ear headphones, wireless headphones, all of which had microphones (minus the in ear headphones) but were only one length and only a few could only be bent to position toward your mouth. All in all, this is the best headset i've ever had. Weight: Don't let the look of its large size fool you. Even though it looks heavy it is very, very lightweight for its size. Turning my head from side to side to view the computer screen or my TV when my computer is hooked up to it or looking around is effortless and the headphones don't wiggle. Comfort: Even after long gaming sessions of a couple of hours and more I was never fatigued from wearing this headset. It didn't even feel like I was wearing one. Other large headsets i've used in the past seemed molded to a certain fixed curve form forcing the headphones to uncomfortably squeeze around your ears and head making gaming sessions unbearable after only half an hour. Putting on and removing this headset is nice and easy thanks to the material in the overhead band which is loose enough to allow easy placement and removal but still very sturdy. It cups around your ears and head snugly without the tight grip like other large headsets i've used in the past.

Yes, im a Razer fanboy by all means, but honestly, these are great sounding and look REALLY cool!!! The 7.1 surround is just awesome!!!

Easily the best headphones I have head. I have used Astros before and they were not near as good as these Krakens. The quality is superb and I just could not ask for anything better. Works perfectly for my PS4 and computer.

I took my son out to pick up his birthday gift. He loves it, said its the best gaming headset he has ever used. I tried them on and they are very comfortable.

I am overall pleased with these headphones. The quality is good and they do a decent job blocking out external noise. My only complaint is that they are a little uncomfortable after a while. Good headphones for the price.

Sound quality is very good. Construction is sturdy. The only thing I don't like 100% is that your own voice is muffled when speaking, which is a little odd. I guess this is the way it is with any over the ear style, though

Works great, software easy to install and works with other razer keyboards and mice. Nice and comfortable to wear for long uses and the colors are cool.

Ended up getting these to complete my Chroma Collection on the Mouse, Mouse pad, and Keyboard! The sound quality is amazing! Works with my PS4 too which is nice gonna pick up another pair just for that!

The Razer - Kraken 7.1 Chroma Over-the-Ear USB Gaming Headset is an excellent piece of equipment. The over-the-ear speakers are comfortable and relatively lightweight. The sound clarity is excellent and speaker placement in the earphones delivers a solid surround sound experience. The software installs easily and offers a number of customization options. I also really like the microphone and how it is very flexible and can be retracted into the headset when not in use, protecting it from potential damage. There is a handy mute switch located on the microphone as well that also lights the end of the microphone with a red light indicating that it has been muted. Overall a very good product that I would highly recommend.

My teenage son wanted headphones because his turtle beach ones broke, they came disconnected at the ear part. We looked at different ones at Best Buy and these worked out even better! Great for gaming!

After the first set for my oldest son, we immediately bought two more for his brothers. they all love these as do their cousins. work really weel, sound is great and they are pretty rugged.

This headset provides everything needed to game and chat online (assuming game supports in-game chat). It has great sound quality and works well for FPS games, you can hear in all directions.

This is a great headset. Awesome surround sound. Great mic. If you're a open mic gamer then this mic will work great, it will queue up when you talk, and stay closed when it should.

Purchased this for my 14 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it. The flexibility of the microphone is a plus. It has excellent sound for all the high tech games he plays.

Just what I needed since my desktop does not have speakers. Nice loud clear headphones and great mic for Skype. My YouYube videos sound great. Mic ears change color! Woah

I bought these for my son who is big in gaming. He loves these and they last forever...when he does need them replaced he always goes back to these, great product!!!!!

The Chroma headset has incredible sound, with great detail. It is simple to use, and works with the computer as well as the playstation 4. I highly recommend this product.
