Overall the headset quality is ok. The cushions could be a bit softer, after about an hour they start to bother my ears. The surround sound has been giving me issues as well as the volume control. In game, the surround feature, when enable will cause game sounds to pop on and off, kind of like a poor cell phone call. Does not happen with all games so it may be an issue with a couple titles I'm playing. Also, the inline volume control when adjusting creates a lot of static and often times I need to play around with it to get sound to come out of both sides of the headset. For the money I'd expect a little better quality but overall it's a pretty decent headset.

Very comfortable on the head and ears. The sound quality is extremely clear, only downfall to this is that there is no Volume adjustment on the headset or wire, have to manually adjust the volume under the volume settings on your computer.

I purchased these to replace an older Sony analog headset and these are so good. Good bass, treble, and mids make these one of the better headsets I own. If you don't want to deal with auxiliary power using a USB or if you need a headset that can be used across many devices from smartphone to console, this is one of the better choices you'll find.

If you wear glasses these may be a little tight on your head. However, a few nights of putting these around books to stretch them out a bit and the problem was solved. They just need to be broke in. Otherwise the sound is great and the mic works fantastically.

The Razer Kraken Pro is comparable to other brands' headsets in the $60-$80 price range. It's not wireless--and you probably ARE paying a little more for the stylish design--but it's a safe choice for an immersive gaming / movie experience. You'll get deep bass and solid surround sound function with this one, and the pull-out retractable mic is a nice feature (this ensures the mic will never be in your way when not in use). Take note that this headset does not connect via USB; it uses the 3.5mm standard audio jack which has a splitter for the mic function. The leathery ear cushions are definitely made of a higher quality material than your typical $20-$40 price range headphones. It may feel tight at first...but after a few break-in sessions you'll feel right at home with it.

Amazing quality, great sound, easy to connect and install, great for pc gaming or audio headset with phone or ipod, the hidden mic feature, the look, and very comfortable. I would recommend this headset to anyone.

I love these headphones. The sound is great, the comfort is great, and I am so pleased with this purchase. I especially love the options for input/output as my computer has a very intricate speaker set up and I was happy to see that I could use 2 different connections

This headset is a pretty good deal for the how well it works. My husband uses it for his xbox with an adaptor and he says they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the sound quality is very good. We would definitely buy these again.

My 11-year-old son is set in his ways and was adamant that he did not want a headset for gaming. I gave them to him for Xmas anyway and he was totally blown away! Over 2 months later and he still randomly thanks me for them; for not listening to him and getting them anyway. He also loves the mic 'cuz he can talk to his buds now while gaming instead of just clacking away on the keyboard and "getting killed." He totes them all over the house and has sat on them more than a few times. Our cat thinks the cord is a great toy. And they still work great! Now he can hangout when I'm watching TV and is not disturbed by the TV since these completely cover and cushion his ears. He can also Skype his friends to strategize. And they're green--his fav color. He's also thinks their logo is really cool, and loves the sticker he got in the box. We are happy!

It tends to get static in certain outlets and doesn't work well with older games. But with newer games and a good outlet, it's flawless. It also fits great on your head and completely adjustable.

I cannot rave about how awesome these headphones are for games. You can hear everything! I have gone through many gaming headsets through the years, of different brands. Even Turtle Beach headsets don't match up to this. My performance in PvP games has gone up due to being able to hear the smallest footstep or gun shot from my opponents. The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because they advertise on the box you can plug it into your phone and listen to music. The headset, I have found, amplifies the bass in nearly every song to the point of making it impossible to listen to the music. Great for gaming, Not for much else.

I use these when I'm working on stuff on my computer and wear them anywhere from 2-6 hours at a time and have no discomfort. They also have a good sound quality

I got this headset mainly for gaming on the PC, and thus far am very pleased with it. The headset is very comfy and the quality is amazing as well. I would chose this product when trying to compare other headsets within the same price range. The Kraken wins within its price threshold hands down.

The sound quality and mic quality are good for the price range. They certainly aren't as good as some of the much higher priced ones on the market, but they are great for non-audiophiles and general gaming.

These like most Razer products are great, sound is good, but overall to bassy for my gaming liking. Very well made, fits good on the head and not to hot on the ears.

I really love this headset, the microphone does an amazing job of reducing the reducing the feedback that is picked up and after upgrading to this headset I would think that I had dropped skype calls because of how quite it is. I also really enjoy that you can disconnect the headset without disconnecting the cords from your computer. The only draw back I have found is that earpieces do start to make my ears sore after an hour or so of use. Great product definetly recommend.

From my experience testing the product, it was perfect. The audio was great, the headset fit snugly on my head, and the microphone and mix amp are great additions. The only problem with this headset is that whenever you are using it for long hours at once, you start feeling uncomfortable at times. But overall, this is a MUST BUY for all gamers looking to upgrade their gaming portfolio.

By far one of the comfiest headphones I've ever worn. Of course you could spend a ton more and get better sound quality etc but for this price I don't believe you can beat the sound/comfort.

I previously used this headset for gaming and music, it does both nicely and the slide out mic is a nice feature. They are fairly comfortable on the head but do not allow much breathing from the ears. Over long hours I feel a slight pressure on the top of my head from wear. My biggest gripe is the lack of inline volume or mic controls but other than that this is a good headset for the price

I love the 7.1, I can honestly hear the channels. Great style, really like the retractable microphone.
