Kids damaged the cable on older headset. Some how they convinced to get a new headset. It's cool they are happy, it works. No clue about sound or mic. Nobody cares as long as they are happy. Gripe.. Still have to deal with cables so I'm sure 6 months I'll be back to rewire a new one. That's my story.

I can't complain about the sound quality or functions of the unit. It's the same quality and performance I've come to expect from Razer products. It works as it should and that is what matters. My one complaint, if I had to make one, is that the volume control wheel often brushes against my shirt and drops or raises the volume on accident. A more recessed wheel would have been a better design perhaps.

Good sound quality. I like the expandable/retractable microphone. It keeps the mic out of your way when not in use and when retracted you don't have to worry about it getting damaged. The cord has volume control for simple adjustments when needed. Overall I have enjoyed the headset and would recommend them to others.

Might not have been the latest Kraken but it served its purpose. I even take it on flights when I'm out on business.

Good sound quality. Much better with games. I could hear foot steps that I could not with the older headset

If you need a headset strictly for a 3.5mm jack, that has decent sound (not over the top) and a decent mic, but is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, this fits the bill. I don't think it excells at anything, but is good at everything, and is especially good at comfort. I have had a couple of people tell me the mic is kind of soft, but I think that's my software and not my headset per se.

The first pair of these headphones that I bought broke within the first week (the mouthpiece/mic quit working). Got them exchanged for a new one and have had no issues since. Great headphones

I may have a watermelon head but no matter how I adjust these headphones give me a headache. They feel a little snug. The sound is great for the money. If you can get on sale for $30-35 then buy it but anything more I wouldn't pay.

Bought these on sale, the deal was too good to pass up! My son loves them, he had a turtle beach headset before but much prefers these. The build quality and sound quality make this a solid value.
