Compared to other gaming headsets, this one lacks certain features. There is no virtual surround sound, it isn't wireless, and it doesn't have colour-changing rave lights on the sides. So this isn't the gamer's answer to all-things-flash. What it is, however, is strong in every feature set it does contain. Excellent sound emanates from its 50mm drivers. It's a bit bassy, but separation of elements is key when gaming and these are able to deliver. The microphone, while not a broadcast mic by any stretch of the imagination, delivers clear vocal tones to whoever is listening. Build quality is overall good, with a premium feel, though protein leather would have been preferable over the synthetic material they chose. Finally, since it terminates in dual 3.5mm jacks rather than a USB plug, it is fully compatible with any gaming console, should you choose to use it on one rather than a Mac or PC.

For being under 100 dollars, this is one of the best sounding headsets I've ever used. The Kraken is usable on all game platforms, as well on PC. I primarily use mine on my Xbox and PS4. At nighttime, it's one of the best ways to play quietly, and doesn't have a lot of leaking noise. The audio is great, with it having directional audio (that took some time to get used to).

I have had Razer but the sound quality was lower than my other headsets in the past but now that they have changed to 50mm Drivers I gave them another try. for 80 dollars these are well worth it for a affordable pair. the sound is great and despite my large head and ears the set fits comfortably.

This is my second time owning this headset. The cord is very sturdy, and the headset fits very nice and sounds clear. It uses 7.1 surround sound which I like, however after long sessions sometimes my ears start to ache because I wear glasses. Other than that, I love these. Definitely recommend.

I felt like I'm listening to my speakers with subwoofer. The range is awesome! You can hear deep bass as well as high notes as long as you play with the equalizer. It is great for gaming, listening to music feels like you're in an actual stage! It's clear sound can be rated more than Bose headsets plus the price is right! I also love how the mic is retractable. The only thing i don't like is the weight... it is kinda heavy compared to my bose, but the quality of sound it produces overcomes the weight! I also love the materials they use, they are made sturdy and solid. I'm lovin' it!

These headphones are very comfortable with excellent sound quality. My only complaint would be that they are quite large. But that isn’t a deal breaker.

this is honestly one of the best headphones I have ever purchased in my life, and definitely a step up in Razers game of audio-phile grade headphones. they are very comfortable and sound amazing with a very balanced frequency signature. I'm so glad they upgraded to 50mm speakers over last gens 40mm. if you want a reasonably priced music headphone, look no further. I would recommend the 7.1 chroma variant for gaming though, plus those come with stickers, these, sadly, do not.

These headphones were easy to setup and perfect noise cancelling. The sound quality is crisp and clear and the microphone is perfectly placed.

Without RGB lighting, software control, or any kind of physical mixer, the Kraken Pro V2 is everything I wanted from a simple headset. I had the previous generation Kraken Pro and had some issues from the inline audio control breaking, but after returning them and paying a little more to get these, I have zero regrets. They stood the test of time and never lost any functionality/clarity. Very comfortable on ears regardless of how long I used them

These headphones not only sound great but stand up to some of the toughest of kids...We have tried cheaper headsets and more expensive ones as well… These seem to stand up to not only transport and backpacks but snagged cords and drops to the floor as well. With headphones. We always by the extended warranty/accidental breakage. The geek squad protection plan has more than paid for itself with headphones in the past.

I was looking at another headset but didn't purchase it because it felt flimsy. This one was cheaper (possibly because it didn't have the cool lights) and felt very sturdy. So for example if I dropped it it would survive. The sound is amazing! Sound blocking could be better. Not too heavy and not too tight (I have a big head lol). I would purchase this again.

The sound is fantastic and they are very simple to set up and use.

Love the threaded cable. Very Comfortable over ear pads. Love the sound. The only caveat I have is that they're not the loudest when connected to an xbox controller, but a positive side to that is that you won't have any ringing in the ears after playing hours of a game Haha

Found these on sale and couldn't be happier. Work better than some I've tried that were more expensive.
