Razer brand as per usual always make products that stand out. I greatly enjoy this mouse and no not all mouses are the same. This one allows for customizing buttons, altering pointer speed, and the lighting effect that moves through different spectrum is very neat. The only down fall is that it does not offer a wireless option. And the ones by Razer that offer wireless feat do not have full-spectrum lighting options.

Purchased for my 'gaming son' and what I like best about it is the lights. My son says it's very easy to use, touch is very light and precise.

I read reviews saying to get the Death Adder Chroma and not this mouse. Claims of the reviewers say optics of the Death Adder over the laser in the Mamba was a better sensor citing a flaky laser. Unfortunately I needed about 2 more buttons than the Death Adder had. I actually bought it first but then returned it for this mouse. I've been very pleased with the performance of this mouse. The construction is solid and the laser sensor is top notch IMO. You can't really compare the two since the Mamba supports up to 16,000 dpi and the Death Adder only goes to 10,000. However, unless you have a huge screen resolution (i.e. 4k) 16k dpi is overkill for a mouse. I only allow my up to 10k on my 2560 x 1080 monitor. The fact is 16k is REALLY high DPI and I bet the mouse can be a bit flaky at that DPI since it is more sensitive to dust and other debris at such a high DPI. It just doesn't make sense to crank the DPI up to 16k then turn down the windows mouse settings all the way to compensate. That's just elitists wanting to tout the higher DPI. But I digress, this mouse is worth the extra $$ over the Death Adder IMO, especially if you need a couple extra buttons. I didn't really care about the Chroma, but I have to admit its fun to have :)

Mouse with nice rubber grips on both sides. The ability to show accent lighting on the wheel, sides and logo in numerous colors. Wheel can be depressed or pressed right or left. Performance of this mouse will satisfy the needs of most gamers. In addition to the wheel there are four additional buttons. Form factor supports claw or palm usages.

Very good... interactive. Responses very good, is easy to use.

Great product works fast when you ned it most. Use it with many games. Use it doing homework to. Even a 5 yrold can use it. Works better then any mouse we ever had and we have bought 2 to use at home and at school.

Not to much overkill with extra hot keys or other functions, Just right for average gamer/ person who enjoys light FX.

I love it! It lights up and cycles through different colors like a psychedelic rainbow light-show. Plus it does a real good job of moving my mouse cursor around the screens of my dual monitors. Corded mice like this are the best because you don't have to ever worry that they'll run out of power in the middle of a session.

I’m a bigger guy so my concern was much my hand would overpower the mouse. The mouse is the perfect size for me.

Purchased this mouse for my little brother and he loves the color options! Said he does not find it distracting, and keeps his set up clean and unique. We have a kitten that likes chewing at wires, this one is braded to add strength. It's a simple yet accurate mouse with a couple of side buttons to map to your game.

My boyfriend desperately needed a new mouse for DOTA, which requires fine mouse movements and tons of clicking. While I was looking for a silent mouse so I didn't have to hear the clicking all day, this came recommended from a staff member. He loves it, and I like the alternating colors and lights.

It’s a great pinpoint accurate mouse, works excellent for gaming, it’s not like cheap mice where they start skipping or slowing down. I would recommend accident protection as Razer Mice are a bit on the fragile side, (I broke it once by fidgeting with it) but over all it’s a great mouse.
