    Great mouse

Great mouse, fits the high standard of any razer product and works as well as any wired gaming mouse from razer. It took a while to get used to the shape after using a razer naga for a year as the ouroboros is flatter, whereas the naga contours to the hand. I find it easiest to use a claw grip on the ouroboros.

Could have been a great mouse

After a bunch of research I settled on this mouse since I want to buy something local and easy. I loved the mouse for about the first few days I used it and I encountered a charge problem. This mouse will only charge itself 10% of the time and on multiple computers will only do it after a restart, and even then inconsistently. I contacted support(within 4 days of purchasing) and I was told to go buy a new rechargeable battery, which just offended me because for 150 bucks on a mouse they should send me the part that was broken for free. After buying a new rechargeable battery it didn't fix the problem and since support takes multiple days to respond (I'm up to weeks now on my last response.) No go I've now decided to eat the 150 bucks and just replace it. I will not buy another razer product again there support borders on rude and are completely non-helpful.

Works very well with Windows 8.1 64bit. Installed flawlessly and doesn't take much to charge. All the contents are secured nicely and it adjusts without a hitch. All in All, Glad I switched from Logitech.

Good at first but latency issues

The Ouroboros was a fun mouse with useful dpi instant adjustment options but after a couple months of use the mouse began to suffer from latency issues to the point where it became an extreme hassle while gaming and connecting to the wireless receiver became a chore after a while as it began to struggle connecting later on.So over all fun for while but not wort it in the long run.

This mouse is very easy to set up and use. Awesome to look at and it also runs fast for killer gaming sessions. The options are infinite!

    The mouse is seriously flawed

Pros: Accurate Looks awesome smooth scroll customization is nice. Cons: Very uncomfortable no matter how you set it up. No weights Isn't RGB Razers flagship mouse works great in games, the amount of accessible buttons are acceptable but not amazing. The mouse is very precise and tracks well. After long gaming sessions I found my hand becoming very uncomfortable. I returned this mouse after a week of owning it because I couldn't stand the strain it caused on my hand and this is very important in a mouse. Because of this I can not recommend this mouse if you really want a razer mouse get the deathadder RGB its got comfort a better sensor and its a lot cheaper.

Just POOR VALUE vs. even dated competition

Thoroughly disappointing. Bought this to pair with a Razer OrbWeaver keypad (which is absolutely worth the the price) and replace a MadCatz RAT 7 due to occasionally flaky drivers. Wanted to lose game items due to bad play, not mouse woes, and wanted to have only one mouse/keypad interface (i.e., Razer Synapse Configurator has polished feel). However, RAT 7 is FAR superior on grip, adjustments, and feel. And, in the end, there are no real game changers with the interface. Ouroboros wide wing grips are too curved top-to-bottom to prevent easy gripping, the normal buttons are FAR too stiff, the extra (beyond RAT) side buttons aren't much use, the physical adjusts (i.e., palm support) are mediocre compared to RAT (especially the left side multiple adjust on RAT), the side wing 'crunch' button is mostly unusable, and it's just a poor value when you compare price vs. RAT (which is an older model, too). The only thing better is the ability to re-program the function of the resolution buttons aft of the wheel, but the RAT has places that can compensate, too. Wireless may be useful for some, but I don't play across the room. Wasn't impressed by play time, and the battery hogs space that the RAT uses to allow you to adjust the mouse weight. Charging stand also has a connection that is hit or miss when you try to dock the mouse; you end up sliding it around a lot to find the right spot. Also, small detail, the RAT stores the wrench to adjust on the mouse, the Razer you have to dig through the mouse box for the separate screwdriver. Magnetic attachments for the Razer wings are a meaningless point of tech, too. I'll be selling this on as soon as I can find someone clueless enough... Even the resident youths don't like it.

Worse mouse i have ever owned

This mouse looks awesome, and its very ergonomic, but that is where the positives end. The software for razer mice, "Razer synapse" is the most frustrating drivers/software I have ever used. You have to register your email to even use it! that means that you cannot adjust your DPI on the fly without registering your email! That alone sends me big red flags about razers motives. And that is not all, it keeps telling me its updating, but never actually updates......... So im forced to end the task in task manager and restart razer synapse, then it works fine... Beyond annoying.. Also this mouse does not stop charging the battery when its full, so if you keep it plugged in to your computer overnight, the battery is toast... Then if you take the battery out and just use it as a wired mouse the 3 green battery indicator lights constantly flash. I not only would never recommend ANY razer products to anyone, I would go out of my way to let people know that they are selling overpriced garbage. this is my 2nd razer this year. Both have been very very disappointing

    unacceptable design flaws.

The Good -The weight of this mouse feels great -The mouse wheel feels great. -The dual optical sensor tech really does allow it to work on almost any surface. The Bad -The programmable buttons are just too far back. You can make it work with your thumb but the buttons on the far side are almost unusable and are awkward to reach no matter how you adjust the mouse. -There is a corner at the top of the palm rest where my ring finger tends to sit that was scratching my finger making even short use a nuisance. Verdict My overall experience with this mouse was terrible. The bad out weighs the good. I wouldn't recommend buying this mouse unless you can contort your hand in strange ways and still feel comfort also having hands made of leather or wearing gloves would almost make this feasible. I feel these are unacceptable design flaws for a mouse in any price range, you may not.
