Has everything needed to enhance gaming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller with TMR Thumbsticks and Remappable Buttons for PS5 and PC – Black is impressive as soon as I took it out of its protective carrying case and put it in my hands. Even though it has a lighter than usual weight, I immediately could feel its solid built quality. It has longer textured plastic claw grip handles that enhance my grip. I feel it is made to give advantages competitively to serious gamers. It’s quick and responsive and I need to get used to the thumbsticks for precise control over my movement and aim. It comes with a USB dongle, a USB-C charging cable, two additional styles of thumbsticks, four removable mouse click back buttons, four back button covers, and a screwdriver for swapping those out. If you don’t want a specific button or all of them, you can even remove them and replace them with blanking plates. Operation is lightning fast with the 2.4GHz wireless via the dongle and with the included wired mode on PC. I find better than usual battery life to have more time continually gaming. I have the Razer Synapse software to access settings and make digital changes, on the PC and in the form of a mobile app for the Razer Controller, if I want to do something similar on console. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller with TMR Thumbsticks and Remappable Buttons for PS5 and PC - Black is an impressively customizable controller that helps me take my skill level to a higher plane, with all of its great functions included.

A well-made PS5 controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller comes with a nice hard case for the controller, which also holds the alternate thumbsticks; one that is domed and standard height, and one that is taller but the same textured/grippy edge as the others. The case also has a spot to hold the USB dongle, and a screwdriver to swap the paddles on the back of the controller. There is also a net on the lid of the case, with a smaller net inside. I put the unused paddles in the smaller net pouch. The larger one I thought would fit the USB cable that comes with the controller, but it really is a tight squeeze. The case has a couple standoff things, presumably to help protect the thumbsticks on the controller when the case is closed. But that makes for very little room for the USB cable in the case, so it seems a little short-sighted to include all these nice spots for everything but the usb cable. The swappable back paddles are a nice addition, but if you swap them with the included flush-fit paddles, the buttons are still clickable. I assume that's intentional, because you don't actually have to program them to any buttons, but don't think that swapping them out effectively disables them. As far as PS5-specific features, this controller doesn't have a colored lightbar, nor the force feedback triggers. There is a mic mute button on the controller, but the controller itself doesn't have a mic (nor a speaker). You also must use the USB dongle when connecting to the PS5 (or USB cable). It does not communicate directly with the PS5. That also means it cannot power on the PS5 with the PS button. But as a controller that's intended to be used in a more competitive manner (or accessible), those are just flourish features that aren't strictly needed to be able to fully game on the PS5. As for the controller itself, all the buttons have a nice satisfying click, and the controller feels really nice in the hand with nice textured grips. You do have to remember to switch it between wired/wireless mode with the switch in the back which is a bit curious why that is necessary (but alas, it is for this controller). So remember to toggle that switch when going to/from wired/wireless. Also remember to check the PC/PS5 switch on the back if going between the two as well. So, there are a few minor oddities, but overall it looks, feels and behaves like a pro-level controller, and if you want a controller that isn't going to get in the way of your game, with the added benefit of programmable/mappable extra buttons, this will serve you well.

Great controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been mostly using this controller on my PC but I've used it on the PS5 as well. This controller is so much better than the OEM Sony controller. It has a build similar to the Xbox controller which I prefer to be honest. I wish the joysticks was like it as well but oh well. The triggers also have locks so if you don't want to press down fully it stops that as well if that's your thing. Also has a bunch of re mapable buttons as well so you can re map them as well which is always great. Inside the box You get the controller Case USB Dongle USB A to Type C cable In this day and age I would want the cable to be USB C to USB C these days but alas we don't get one. Thats why I docked a star on this otherwise great controller. On the bottom you get a toggle for PlayStation 5 or PC which is great as well. The battery life has been better in my opinion over the original PlayStation Dual Sense controller. The joysticks are good as well but at this price I would wish they were hall effect joy sticks but oh well

TMR Sticks are amazing but Sony limits suck
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro immediately improved my aim and feel for FPS games on PS5, without even making any adjustments to the controller settings. I have used a few different "Pro" controllers from several different brands at this point, including the Sony DualSense Edge. The Raiju V3 Pro is the first third-party controller I've used on PS5, as well. #Unboxing and first impressions# The box for the Razer Raiju V3 Pro seemed unique to me in that it adopts the standard Sony Playstation blue-and-white color scheme rather than Razer's classic black and green. Inside the box was all Razer, though - from their dense cell foam protection to the black carry case for the controller itself. The Raiju V3 Pro comes with a few different options for sticks, and frankly I was excited to try them until I used the controller for the first time and the acceleration curve and precision of the default sticks blew me away. I was afraid to change things at that point :). I was surprised that the included Razer HyperSpeed dongle was USB-A rather than USB-C, meaning it will need to hang out on the back side of my PS5 Pro. #Using the Raiju V3 Pro# I've already said it a few times, but I was super impressed with the Raiju as soon as I used it in game. In multiple FPS games and in Star Wars Outlaws, I found the sensitivity curve and precision of the TMR sticks on the Raiju to be immediately accessible and improved my accuracy out of the gate. I also found that the triggers were easy to adapt to, both in their analog and hyperclick modes (which are switchable with physical switches on the back fo the controller). Likewise, after a little bit of reading in the (weirdly tiny) manual, I figured out the way to map the paddles and additional shoulder buttons, and found them to be well placed. They are much easier to reach than the DS Edge's paddles but also don't seem as prone to misclicks as some of the paddles I've used on Xbox "Pro" controllers. My only complaints about the Raiju V3 Pro center around Sony's limitations on third party controllers. While Razer may or may not have included rumble and haptics in the controller, Sony forcing third party companies to go without is just hurting PS5 customers rather than helping Sony in my opinion. By far the worst compromise is not being able to power on the PS5 with the PS button on the Raiju. You either need to use another controller to turn the system on, or get up and do it yourself. Perhaps for someone using the PS5 with a desktop monitor this might not be so bad, but to me it was particularly annoying. Sony, give up the stupid limitations on licensed controllers. On PC, the Raiju is configurable via Synapse 4. I found that it worked well. I was a bit surprised that it tops out at 2000 hz refresh on PC - I figured it wouldhave 8K polling like the Wolverine, but tbh I'm not a good enough gamer to feel a difference once things get that spicy. #Final thoughts# This controller is as perfect as it is allowed to be thanks to Razer's engineering and Sony's confounding limits on licensed controllers. While the price is high (especially considering the lack of rumble and haptics), the value prop is appealing when the TMR sticks and overall ergonomics are this good. This controller is perfect for anyone playing competitive shooters on the PS5.

Multifunctional All in One Controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a lot to say about this controller. I'll start with how well it immediately paired with my PS5 using the included dongle. The button functionality worked well as it is configured right out of the box. But that is only the beginning. The responsiveness is calibrated well for my level of gaming skills, but the sensitivity and responsiveness can be adjusted by using a PC application or a phone application. I found the mobile application to the most straight forward way of configuring the controller. While I only set up one profile, it is capable of setting up four separate and switchable profiles. The phone application allows for easy setup of button mapping, thumb stick settings, trigger settings, D-Pad settings, D-Pad SOCD Settings and Power Saving settings. The controller itself has way more buttons than a rookie like me would ever need, but some are even removable. The thumb stick has an additional size included in case the user would like a more elevated stick experience. The Windows's functionality is more complex. While I was able to get the device connected via Bluetooth, I was not able to keep the connection persisted. Once connected with the USB cable, I was able to update the device software with ease. I found it quite impressive that the control pad on the top of the controller was usable as a mouse with full functionality. If you're in the market for a very configurable controller that will control both a PS5 and a Windows' device, this is the right tool for the objective. Finally, spend time reading the user's manual. It is loaded with important information to help with configuring the device.

Provides many options!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro is a pretty good controller with a lot of good features. So I’ll start with the good. So to begin I would just like to say that the customizability is amazing. You can take off the joysticks and replace them with a different one if you’d like to, although I am really liking the cupped design. You can take off the four extra buttons on the back and replace them with grips if you’d like. You can change the triggers to be like a mouse with instant actions instead of analog for FPS games. And finally, you can switch between wired or wireless and PC or PS5. I really love the textured grips and how well the controller fits in my hands. The connectivity is great on both PS5 and PC. The PC software is really nice and you can configure it on the mobile app if you’re playing on PS5. There really isn't anything bad about this controller. The only annoying thing is that when you have the extra buttons on the back, you can accidentally press them because they are right where your fingers are when you grip the controller. But then again you can change them out if you don’t like it. Overall, if you are looking for a high quality controller, I would consider this Razer!

Amazing PS5 controller!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tested a lot of the Razer controllers over the year, mainly the Wolverine series. They were all good controllers, but I never ended up keeping them cause there was always some little features that made me always want to go back to my PS5 or Xbox controller depending on what system I was using. I was excited to give this one a try to see if Razer finally got it right. Spoiler alert: They did! Out of the box, it’s a very solid feeling controller. It definitely feels like a premium controller in your hands. I really like the ergonomics of it and it feels great in your hands even after long periods of gameplay. When you open the box you will see the carrying case for the controller as well as a USB cable and the removable back paddles. When you open the case you’ll see the controller, the USB dongle, some different size thumb stick caps. There is a set that has the concave top to easily fit your thumb in. Then there are also ones that have more of a domed top with no indentation if you prefer that as well. There is also a small screwdriver for changing out the back button covers. The controller has a rubberized texture on the grips so it doesn’t slide around in your hand like the Playstation controller can. Even though this is a Razer product, it is not covered in color changing LED lights like most of their products are. In fact, there aren’t any lights at all. This kind of makes it feel more like a premium product and less like a toy. Not to mention it helps with the battery life to not have to run all those lights. For the performance, all of the sticks and buttons have a great feel to them. The sticks move very smoothly, and easily snap back to the center when you take your finger off them. I didn’t notice any kind of drift or anything like that. The buttons have a very tactile feel and have a small clicking sound to them both on the buttons as well as on the dpad. Its not a loud click that will annoy everyone around you, its kind of like a mouse click sound, but quieter. I much prefer those to buttons that are mushy and don’t have the clicking noise when you press them. There are also 3 triggers on each side (6 total) on the top of the controller as well. I found them to be very easily reachable and they have the same great tactile feel as the other buttons. There is a switch to change these between locked and unlocked mode so you can use whatever mode you choose depending on the game you are playing or the feel you want. Then there are 2 sets of paddles (4 total) on the back of the controller as well. These can easily be removed using the included screwdriver and you can just put flat caps in their place if you decide you don’t need or want them. Another great feature! Would be nice if there was a way to swap them without having to use a tool, but that is a very minor gripe. Then also on the back there is a wired or wireless switch as well as a PC / PS5 switch as well. There is also the windows app you can use to completely customize every little detail on this controller as well and remap buttons to your hearts content. Overall, I cant really find anything negative to say about this controller. When I fire up my PS5 from now on, this is going to be the controller I will use. I have literally gamed for like 6 hours straight with this and felt no fatigue, and had zero problems with it. It also didn’t put a dent in the battery; this thing has amazing battery life! You should absolutely check this out if you are in the market for a better controller than what came with your system. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised!

Great Controller for PS5 & PC!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In our household we have 4 gamers. We game on everything from PCs to PS5s, to Xboxs, to Nintendo Switches, and even our mobile devices. And I have been a Razer consumer for years now dating back to when I bought my first Razer mouse and fell in love with how lightweight it was and just how great it was built. It lasted me all the way up until we moved, and it got put in a box never to be found again. I was so bummed I had to buy the exact same kind of mouse again. That love of Razer is something I've passed down to my sons too because I bought them Razer mice for their PC gaming too. And they too love Razer. The Razer Raiju v3 Pro gets that same amount of love from me and from us. First Impressions The look of the controller screams Razer to me. The color scheme (black with green) and there is no mistaking who was the manufacturer of this controller. That isn't a knock, Razer is great! The build quality is nice too. The button have a nice click to them, they feel solid but not overly stiff. It looks like it will last for years & years, which is something we plan to put to the test! Rating: 5/5 Console Gaming The Raiju V3 Pro is probably going to spend 99.9999% of its life being using on a PS5 and so I wanted to test it out on my son's PS5 first. I fired up some MLB The Show and went into a game to see how I'd do with the Raiju V3 Pro. I did pretty well. It's been about 6 months since I've played the PS5 so I count that as a win. I next fired up a Gran Turismo 7 next. I have yet to play GT7 and so I had a bit of a learning curve but I've been wanting to play it and this gave me the excuse I needed to be able to do so! I am extremely happy that I did because I haven't played a Gran Turismo game since high school & man oh man have I missed playing it. The Raiju V3 Pro felt so natural in my hands playing GT7. It was like the controller was a part of me, the game just feel great with this controller. I don't know how else to say it or convey it. It was splendid. Rating: 5/5 PC Gaming I figured it was time to let someone else give this controller a whirl why I watched. My other son wanted to play the new Madden, so we fired it up & he went to playing. I asked him how it felt playing with the Raiju V3 Pro and he said the controller wasn't too much or to small it was just right as far as the sizing goes; as well as the distance between the buttons was perfectly spaced. He didn't feel like the controller was hurting his hands after an extension session of gaming (4+ hours) which is great because he normally has to take a break about 2-3 hours in. We both absolutely loved the Raiju V3 Pro. Even my other son wanted to give it a go & he had the same thoughts as his brother and I. That Razer absolutely knocked it out of the park with this controller. Rating: 5/5 Conclusion In closing of the 3 of my household who used the Razer Raiju V3 Pro all 3 of us absolutely loved it. We normally prefer OEM controllers because of just how well they usually just work. But with this controller by Razer I think we've found our preferred PC & PS5 controller going forward. The only problem is that I'll need to get one for each of us. I guess Christmas is coming up, so maybe I'll get a couple for stocking stuffers :P Overall Rating: 15/15

Excellent pro-level controller, easy customization
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome upgrade to take full control of any game. This Raiju V3 Pro is incredible. Flawless controls with additional inputs I never knew I needed but now love so much! 6 programmable buttons offer expert level control and the whole thing is fully customizable with Razer Synapse software for PC or the intuitive phone app. The 4 four back buttons can be completely removed if they interfere with your grip or style of play, but I find them to be wonderful addons for enhanced control and customization. This controller easily connects wirelessly or with usb3 cable to either PC or PS5. The ultra-low-latency 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed wireless connection offers incredibly fast responses for zero lag controls that keep my movements swift and accurate through gameplay. The simple but speedy wired connection offers another level of instantaneous response, paired with the ability to play on even if I forget to charge the controller between sessions. This controller utilizes anti-drift tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks to help reduce stick drift and keep precision at its peak and help maintain focus on the target. These really help for precision moments like when aiming down sight or racing. The extra 6 programmable buttons are a clutch advantage for many scenarios, allowing full programming to do whatever you want and the remaining controller layout mimics that of the standard dualsence controller but with much more customization potential. As for use and play, I really like the grip and feel of this controller in my hands. It has slightly rubberized palms and otherwise smooth finish. I love the tactile and audible clicks of the controller’s buttons to let me hear and feel my actions. Controller comes with a very classy looking, protective carrying case to keep it safe on the move or traveling. Included storage in the carrying case keeps track of the extra thumbstick caps (convex and concave to match your preference), a screwdriver for removing the extra back buttons if you choose, and a 2 meter usb cable for charging or wired connections. I also love that this controller transitions seamlessly from PS5 to PC and back again easily, this allows me to play on either platform and switch back and form whenever I want. Overall, a very nice controller and great addition to my PS5, definitely a notch above the basic dualsense.

Raiju V3 helps slice competition (like a Razer)
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer continues to impress with peripherals when it comes to the Raiju V3 Pro. This controller is equipped to connect to both PS5 or PC, adding general utility. I would be hesitant for a more high end one device controller but the utility caught my eye. The controller is decent sized but not overweight, feeling on the lighter size but still appearing sleek. The controller is wireless (USA-A dongle), which is always an enjoyable experience as there are still a decent amount of peripherals still are corded. If using the cord however, noticed that responsiveness is improved with decreased latency - which to most on a console is not super important but was a solid option when playing more quick speed games. The front of controller has a d-pad and right 4-buttons with two thumb sticks. The d-pad is 8-way, allowing for easier diagonal presses than with 4-way d-pads of the past. The feel of the buttons is smooth, with appreciated tactile feedback to know the action has been completed along with ultra smooth joysticks - which the joysticks can be swapped between a taller cap and smaller to allow for better precision versus speed (and comfort/feel of course). Frankly the feel is great, hard to decribe. One of the aspects sitting the controller apart is 4 removal buttons built into the handles having flush-style versus raised option along with additional bumpers which are remappable to allow for switching/ease of play using more digits to increase efficiency and play. These modifications along with sensitivity levels/calibration can be completed using the Razer app or synapse 4, which for PC purposes I already had downloaded/in action and was able to link through the program. There is the abilitty to have multiple profiles for button mapping that are easy to trasntion between. The only downfall I noticed would be for some players is the lack of haptic feedback, which when playing shooter games can at times add to experience - the flip side to this is that ones eyes can interpret these sensations with the screen easy enough. I found a charge tends to last through about 3-4 decent gaming sessions without concern, I have not had the controller die in general use as tend to charge about 1-2 times per week (cycling through my devices). This is a fantastic alternative to a mouse and can easily step in for a standard controller, outperforming.

Best Controller I've Ever Used
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this Razer Raiju is the best controller I've ever used. I'll get it out of the way quick, the only thing it's missing is rumble or any kind of haptic feedback. While I'm disappointed it doesn't offer these, everything else it does offer more than make up for it. This is a wireless controller compatible with PC and Playstation. I tested it out on my PS5. It comes with a USB-C cable, wireless dongle, 2 replacement thumbstick caps, covers for the 4 back buttons, carrying case, and a tool to remove the back buttons. It features a very nice 36 hour battery. I didn't test this fully, but I was able to play all week a few hours at a time and I still had plenty of charge at the end of the week. The thumb sticks are TMR thumbsticks, which I'm not quite sure exactly what that is, but they are really smooth feeling and super sensitive. They feel even nicer than the thumbsticks on the official PS controllers. All of the buttons are "mecha tactile" which just means they are clicky, like a mouse click. They are super rresponsive, and after using this style of button, it's hard to go back to a controller without these kinds of buttons. The triggers also offer the option to switch between long press or short press, which is a really nice option. Outside of racing games, I never saw the use of having analog triggers. So it's nice to be able to swap between the two. Lastly, the 4 back buttons are placed in a really comfortable position. You can assign custom buttons to each one either on the controller itself, or by plugging it into a PC and using the Razer software. And if you don't want to use the back buttons at all, they give you covers you can swap out. Overall, this thing is jam packed with features and I'm sure I've missed a few. The main thing I took away from using this controller is that it is really comfortable, ultra sensitive and responsive, and is easily the best controller I've ever used.

Best PS5 Controller Yet!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is an exceptional upgrade for serious PS5 and PC gamers who demand precision, customization, and premium build quality. From the moment you pick it up, the controller feels solid and well-balanced, with an ergonomic design that supports long gaming sessions without fatigue. The standout feature is the TMR thumbsticks, which deliver remarkably smooth, accurate, and consistent input. Movement feels precise and responsive, making a noticeable difference in competitive games where fine control matters. The responsiveness of the buttons and triggers further reinforces the controller’s high-performance pedigree, offering tactile feedback that feels both deliberate and satisfying. Customization is another major strength. The remappable buttons allow players to tailor the control layout to their individual playstyle, providing a real advantage in fast-paced or complex games. The ability to switch profiles and fine-tune settings gives this controller a level of flexibility typically reserved for elite-level peripherals. Wireless performance is excellent, with a stable, low-latency connection that keeps gameplay seamless on both PS5 and PC. Battery life is dependable, and the controller transitions smoothly between platforms, making it a versatile option for gamers who play across systems. A Serious Premium Pro Gaming Controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is a serious, premium controller clearly built with pro gamers in mind - and priced accordingly. It checks all of the boxes for performance and competition. - Solid build, yet surprisingly light - Great grip and feel with precision buttons, switches, and controls all around - Tremendous customization including 4 under-grip switches. These can be mapped however you’d like - or, if you prefer, you can swap them out for fitted plugs (with the included tool). - Everything you need for no nonsense gaming. The ‘seriousness’ is underscored by the fact that there is no vibrating ‘rumble’ feature and no fancy light schemes. Just ‘let’s get down to business’. Adding to the premium pro status is the included luxury case. Great quality and design with molded spots for the wireless dongle, control stick options, under-grip plugs (with included tool), and a place for the included cable for wired use. Impressive. One additional feature I appreciate is the clickable trackpad. It gives me just enough functionality to handle those final close-down tasks on my PC after quitting a game. The only caveat here is to remember that this model sports the Playstation controller layout, not the Xbox configuration. If you’re a casual gamer, this is clearly overkill - unless you’ve got the budget and like premium products. But, if you’re a competitive gamer, this is built for you.

Great Pro controller.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. Razer did a great job at thier Raiju V2 Pro controller for the PS5. For those games with lots of fast past button combos it is perfect. Very fun to use in fast past FPS games where you want to jump run crouch reload and maybe even control a jet pack. Or fighting games with difficult to execute combos. I find the Raiju has makes it easier to get it right. The quality of materials is nice as well. This does not feel cheap. The battery charges quick and last a good amount of time. I have not noticed any need for extra battery and I tend to charge my controllers once a week. One thing I forgot is the short trigger option these controllers have to make your reaction even quicker in fps games. But you can change it back for skating or racing games where you may want more precision in how much the game detects the trigger being closed. I always like having that feature in my controllers. It is nice to have the option and ability to replace certain parts of the controller. I would recommend this controller if you are in the market and comparing it to its competitors.

Elite PC and PS5 Controller!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title suggests, this is a really elite PS5 and PC controller. It works in either wired or wireless mode. It also has a switch to choose between mapping the controllers to a PS5 or your PC. It has a really quality feel to it - it's lightweight but still says very premium. It also has swappable caps for the high precision TMR joysticks - the responsiveness on them when gaming is top notch. The hypertriggers are also super responsive and are as close to real time as it gets. It was also recognized by Steam right away on my PC as a mappable controller, no customization required. But the same time, you can remap several of the buttons if you prefer. I also don't like the extra back buttons but they were easily removable with the included tools but the options is there to reattach them in case I ever want to use them in the future. It also included the USB WiFi dongle, a screwdriver for removing the back buttons and additional swappable joystick caps. The carrying case is also very sturdy and carries everything that's included in it really easily. Overall, I really like this gaming controller.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not much of a controller guy but if you console game you are pretty much stuck. Some of the consoles come with basic controllers that get the job done but lack full customization capability. On the PC gaming front I typically just use keyboard and mouse but there are some games that really are better suited for an alternative input device, such as joystick, wheel/pedal or a controller. Using the Razer Raiju Pro is a great wireless/wired controller for PlayStation 5 and PC. While not a big fan of Razer's Snapse software it is necessary to get the most out of the controller on a PC. Full customization of the thumbsticks, triggers and buttons are all available in Snapse. Tabs for the thumbstick calibration, deadzone drift and sensitivity are all in the software. There are 10 triggers, 6 on the back side and 4 on the bottom, very much like a couple of other premium controllers. The 4 bottom triggers can be removed and replaced with flush covers if you decide you don't need them. I would probably just disable them if I don't need them, making it easier to activate them if needed. All triggers are customizable and triggers L2 and R2 have sliding locks that allow for a simple tap to activate (like needed for FPS games) but with the switch in the other position you get full range analog control (great for racing sims for accelerator and brake). On top are the standard controller D-Pad, thumbsticks, PlayStation power button, touchpad, 4 action buttons, menu button, etc. In the box you get the controller, a wireless dongle and a 6ft cable, alternate joystick caps, flush bottom trigger covers, a screwdriver and a cool carrying case. I have been enjoying using the Raiju Pro playing Madden 26 on my PS5 and racing sims on my PC. Great solution if you game on both. The price point is a bit steep but this is a premium controller compatible with PC and PS5 and is fully programmable so it might be justifiable for you... heck... put it on your Christmas wish list or use that Best Buy gift card that Aunt Mary gave you. 4 stars only because I'm not a fan of Snapse software, sorry Razer. If you are heavily invested in the Razer enviroment (keyboards, mice, headset, speakers, etc) then this would be a 5 star add to your setup.

Customization to the MAX
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro has been a total game changer for me, especially with the new Call of Duty out that brings back wall jumping and uses sliding/diving a lot. The four remappable buttons on the back of the controller's grip are easy to configure. I quickly mapped one of the left buttons to jump (for wall jumping) and one of the right buttons to slide/crouch/dive. There are four buttons total (two per side) on the back, but I kept accidentally pressing both on the same side at once, so I just ended up mapping them to the same action to be safe. The controller feels lightweight, but it is noticeably bigger than my DualSense Edge. I personally prefer the DualSense Edge because it fits my hands way better. However, my younger brother, who has bigger hands, liked the Raiju V3 Pro a lot more. All of the buttons are very tactile and "clicky," which is great because you know exactly when you've hit a button and you don't miss any presses. The L2 and R2 triggers also have built-in stoppers that you can switch on, so you don't need a full trigger pull to activate an action in the game. That hair trigger feel is awesome for FPS games. Almost everything on this controller is customizable. You can swap out the thumbstick caps for a different feel, which is a great feature. It’s awesome that you can customize the Raiju so much to make it work for you, but honestly, I just don't have the hands big enough to fully appreciate its scale. I have to mention one serious issue: I started getting some stick drift, which made my aim suddenly feel really clunky. This is especially frustrating because Razer advertises these TMR (Tension Magnetic Resistance) thumbsticks as anti-drift technology. After looking into it, this "clunky" aim is likely a known latency bug with the wireless dongle on PS5, and not actual stick drift. The delay makes fine aiming unreliable. If you need reliable aim, using a wired connection is essential right now. Overall, I do like the controller for its speed and features, but the size and the unexpected wireless stick issue keep it from being perfect for me personally.

Great gaming controller!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been getting more into gamin lately, so my PS5 has been working overtime. A few weeks ago, I dropped my PS5 controller on my tile floor. If you know anything about these controllers, they really can't take a drop. I opened the original controller and cleaned it up really well. This helped to bring it back to a 90% functioning rate, but my triangle button checked out completely. Luckily, I got the opportunity to get my hands on the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller. I must say that it is a night and day difference between the original controller and the Razer. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is very customizable. Trigger button sensitivity and response rate are extremely important to me, as I tend to get into pretty intensive Call of Duty play. Needless to say, the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller has been performing flawlessly. From response rate to its overall adjustability, the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is great! Not only do you get a storage case, but you get a few extra accessories to match your gameplaying needs. One thing that I must say is that the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller takes some getting used to. It's quite bulky when compared to the original PS5 controller, and significantly lighter. As for battery life...SO MUCH better!! It can go a few days of gameplay before needing a charge. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller.

Carbon fiber clubs for your eSports games
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer built a modern, high-end controller for PS5 gaming and PC use. Everything about it is designed to maximize your focus on the game and ability to control it. This is not about fun. It’s about domination. This means it’s not for everyone. There’s no haptic feedback when the car you’re in runs over the lines on the road. There’s no fun colored buttons to focus on. There’s no fancy lights which change color for various reasons. Instead, there’s quick response to every gesture. There’s customizable buttons to give fast access to whatever you need. If you have the skill and the will, this controller shows you the way. What this controller will NOT do is make you better at your favorite game, if you’re not already up for it. Just like golf clubs will not make you better until your game gets to that point. Yes, the triggers are faster, but only if your reflexes are. Yes, the buttons are programmable, but only if you know what you want them to do. Yes, the controller is very comfortable, but…OK, That’s nice, lightweight, rechargeable battery or wired connection. That alone isn’t worth the price. It’s controller which will help you level up a little more when you’re ready for it. When you are…enjoy!
