I hated the Wolverine and I truely enjoy this controller! Of course this isn't for everyone some prefer bluetooth wireless over programmable buttons. For me those shoulder programmble are sublime since the PS4's original Raiju controller. Only down side for me is the lack of programming the buttons without the need for the app.

Purchased because I loved the Wolverine V3 and wanted the same experience on a PS5 pad. Absolutely love the controller, excellent stick response and really enjoy the feel in hand.

Purchased for my Boyfriend. He loves it more than the $300 controller he has because it’s more sturdier with the buttons and a tougher material. He prefers it over the more expensive one. Very durable

The Good:
- Build quality is excellent. It feels solid and premium in hand without being bulky, with tight tolerances and high-quality materials throughout.
- Surprisingly lightweight for a “pro” controller, which really helps during long gaming sessions and competitive play.
- Responsiveness is outstanding. The TMR thumbsticks feel precise and smooth, with excellent centering and no noticeable latency in my testing.
- Battery life has been very reliable — I can get multiple long sessions in before needing to recharge.
- The included case is a nice touch and actually useful, especially if you travel or swap setups between PS5 and PC.
- Customization is deep and flexible. Remappable buttons, trigger adjustments, and profiles let you tailor the controller exactly to your playstyle.
- Application support is strong and intuitive, making it easy to dial in settings without feeling overwhelming.
The Bad:
- Nothing of note. For what this controller is designed to do, it delivers exactly as expected.
Misc:
- Important to note: there is no haptic feedback, rumble, or vibration. This is a deliberate design choice, prioritizing lightweight feel and raw responsiveness — and it executes that focus extremely well.
Overall:
The Raiju V3 Pro is a purpose-built, performance-first controller that nails precision, comfort, and customization. It’s an easy 5 star rating for what it’s intended to be, unless the missing haptics/gyro is important, then it could be a dealbreaker. Those in the market for this controller will appreciate what it is and what it is not.

The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller with TMR Thumbsticks and Remappable Buttons for PS5 and PC – Black is impressive as soon as I took it out of its protective carrying case and put it in my hands. Even though it has a lighter than usual weight, I immediately could feel its solid built quality. It has longer textured plastic claw grip handles that enhance my grip. I feel it is made to give advantages competitively to serious gamers. It’s quick and responsive and I need to get used to the thumbsticks for precise control over my movement and aim. It comes with a USB dongle, a USB-C charging cable, two additional styles of thumbsticks, four removable mouse click back buttons, four back button covers, and a screwdriver for swapping those out. If you don’t want a specific button or all of them, you can even remove them and replace them with blanking plates. Operation is lightning fast with the 2.4GHz wireless via the dongle and with the included wired mode on PC. I find better than usual battery life to have more time continually gaming. I have the Razer Synapse software to access settings and make digital changes, on the PC and in the form of a mobile app for the Razer Controller, if I want to do something similar on console. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller with TMR Thumbsticks and Remappable Buttons for PS5 and PC - Black is an impressively customizable controller that helps me take my skill level to a higher plane, with all of its great functions included.

Razer continues to impress with peripherals when it comes to the Raiju V3 Pro. This controller is equipped to connect to both PS5 or PC, adding general utility. I would be hesitant for a more high end one device controller but the utility caught my eye. The controller is decent sized but not overweight, feeling on the lighter size but still appearing sleek. The controller is wireless (USA-A dongle), which is always an enjoyable experience as there are still a decent amount of peripherals still are corded. If using the cord however, noticed that responsiveness is improved with decreased latency - which to most on a console is not super important but was a solid option when playing more quick speed games. The front of controller has a d-pad and right 4-buttons with two thumb sticks. The d-pad is 8-way, allowing for easier diagonal presses than with 4-way d-pads of the past. The feel of the buttons is smooth, with appreciated tactile feedback to know the action has been completed along with ultra smooth joysticks - which the joysticks can be swapped between a taller cap and smaller to allow for better precision versus speed (and comfort/feel of course). Frankly the feel is great, hard to decribe. One of the aspects sitting the controller apart is 4 removal buttons built into the handles having flush-style versus raised option along with additional bumpers which are remappable to allow for switching/ease of play using more digits to increase efficiency and play. These modifications along with sensitivity levels/calibration can be completed using the Razer app or synapse 4, which for PC purposes I already had downloaded/in action and was able to link through the program. There is the abilitty to have multiple profiles for button mapping that are easy to trasntion between. The only downfall I noticed would be for some players is the lack of haptic feedback, which when playing shooter games can at times add to experience - the flip side to this is that ones eyes can interpret these sensations with the screen easy enough. I found a charge tends to last through about 3-4 decent gaming sessions without concern, I have not had the controller die in general use as tend to charge about 1-2 times per week (cycling through my devices). This is a fantastic alternative to a mouse and can easily step in for a standard controller, outperforming.

So this Razer Raiju is the best controller I've ever used. I'll get it out of the way quick, the only thing it's missing is rumble or any kind of haptic feedback. While I'm disappointed it doesn't offer these, everything else it does offer more than make up for it. This is a wireless controller compatible with PC and Playstation. I tested it out on my PS5. It comes with a USB-C cable, wireless dongle, 2 replacement thumbstick caps, covers for the 4 back buttons, carrying case, and a tool to remove the back buttons. It features a very nice 36 hour battery. I didn't test this fully, but I was able to play all week a few hours at a time and I still had plenty of charge at the end of the week. The thumb sticks are TMR thumbsticks, which I'm not quite sure exactly what that is, but they are really smooth feeling and super sensitive. They feel even nicer than the thumbsticks on the official PS controllers. All of the buttons are "mecha tactile" which just means they are clicky, like a mouse click. They are super rresponsive, and after using this style of button, it's hard to go back to a controller without these kinds of buttons. The triggers also offer the option to switch between long press or short press, which is a really nice option. Outside of racing games, I never saw the use of having analog triggers. So it's nice to be able to swap between the two. Lastly, the 4 back buttons are placed in a really comfortable position. You can assign custom buttons to each one either on the controller itself, or by plugging it into a PC and using the Razer software. And if you don't want to use the back buttons at all, they give you covers you can swap out. Overall, this thing is jam packed with features and I'm sure I've missed a few. The main thing I took away from using this controller is that it is really comfortable, ultra sensitive and responsive, and is easily the best controller I've ever used.

The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is a serious, premium controller clearly built with pro gamers in mind - and priced accordingly. It checks all of the boxes for performance and competition.
- Solid build, yet surprisingly light
- Great grip and feel with precision buttons, switches, and controls all around
- Tremendous customization including 4 under-grip switches. These can be mapped however you’d like - or, if you prefer, you can swap them out for fitted plugs (with the included tool).
- Everything you need for no nonsense gaming.
The ‘seriousness’ is underscored by the fact that there is no vibrating ‘rumble’ feature and no fancy light schemes. Just ‘let’s get down to business’.
Adding to the premium pro status is the included luxury case. Great quality and design with molded spots for the wireless dongle, control stick options, under-grip plugs (with included tool), and a place for the included cable for wired use. Impressive.
One additional feature I appreciate is the clickable trackpad. It gives me just enough functionality to handle those final close-down tasks on my PC after quitting a game.
The only caveat here is to remember that this model sports the Playstation controller layout, not the Xbox configuration.
If you’re a casual gamer, this is clearly overkill - unless you’ve got the budget and like premium products. But, if you’re a competitive gamer, this is built for you.

I love this controller. Razer did a great job at thier Raiju V2 Pro controller for the PS5. For those games with lots of fast past button combos it is perfect. Very fun to use in fast past FPS games where you want to jump run crouch reload and maybe even control a jet pack. Or fighting games with difficult to execute combos. I find the Raiju has makes it easier to get it right. The quality of materials is nice as well. This does not feel cheap. The battery charges quick and last a good amount of time. I have not noticed any need for extra battery and I tend to charge my controllers once a week. One thing I forgot is the short trigger option these controllers have to make your reaction even quicker in fps games. But you can change it back for skating or racing games where you may want more precision in how much the game detects the trigger being closed. I always like having that feature in my controllers. It is nice to have the option and ability to replace certain parts of the controller. I would recommend this controller if you are in the market and comparing it to its competitors.

The Razer Raiju V3 Pro has been a total game changer for me, especially with the new Call of Duty out that brings back wall jumping and uses sliding/diving a lot.
The four remappable buttons on the back of the controller's grip are easy to configure. I quickly mapped one of the left buttons to jump (for wall jumping) and one of the right buttons to slide/crouch/dive. There are four buttons total (two per side) on the back, but I kept accidentally pressing both on the same side at once, so I just ended up mapping them to the same action to be safe.
The controller feels lightweight, but it is noticeably bigger than my DualSense Edge. I personally prefer the DualSense Edge because it fits my hands way better. However, my younger brother, who has bigger hands, liked the Raiju V3 Pro a lot more.
All of the buttons are very tactile and "clicky," which is great because you know exactly when you've hit a button and you don't miss any presses. The L2 and R2 triggers also have built-in stoppers that you can switch on, so you don't need a full trigger pull to activate an action in the game. That hair trigger feel is awesome for FPS games.
Almost everything on this controller is customizable. You can swap out the thumbstick caps for a different feel, which is a great feature. It’s awesome that you can customize the Raiju so much to make it work for you, but honestly, I just don't have the hands big enough to fully appreciate its scale.
I have to mention one serious issue: I started getting some stick drift, which made my aim suddenly feel really clunky. This is especially frustrating because Razer advertises these TMR (Tension Magnetic Resistance) thumbsticks as anti-drift technology. After looking into it, this "clunky" aim is likely a known latency bug with the wireless dongle on PS5, and not actual stick drift. The delay makes fine aiming unreliable. If you need reliable aim, using a wired connection is essential right now.
Overall, I do like the controller for its speed and features, but the size and the unexpected wireless stick issue keep it from being perfect for me personally.

I've been getting more into gamin lately, so my PS5 has been working overtime. A few weeks ago, I dropped my PS5 controller on my tile floor. If you know anything about these controllers, they really can't take a drop.
I opened the original controller and cleaned it up really well. This helped to bring it back to a 90% functioning rate, but my triangle button checked out completely.
Luckily, I got the opportunity to get my hands on the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller. I must say that it is a night and day difference between the original controller and the Razer. The Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is very customizable.
Trigger button sensitivity and response rate are extremely important to me, as I tend to get into pretty intensive Call of Duty play. Needless to say, the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller has been performing flawlessly.
From response rate to its overall adjustability, the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller is great! Not only do you get a storage case, but you get a few extra accessories to match your gameplaying needs.
One thing that I must say is that the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller takes some getting used to. It's quite bulky when compared to the original PS5 controller, and significantly lighter.
As for battery life...SO MUCH better!! It can go a few days of gameplay before needing a charge.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Razer - Raiju V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller.

Razer built a modern, high-end controller for PS5 gaming and PC use. Everything about it is designed to maximize your focus on the game and ability to control it. This is not about fun. It’s about domination. This means it’s not for everyone. There’s no haptic feedback when the car you’re in runs over the lines on the road. There’s no fun colored buttons to focus on. There’s no fancy lights which change color for various reasons. Instead, there’s quick response to every gesture. There’s customizable buttons to give fast access to whatever you need. If you have the skill and the will, this controller shows you the way.
What this controller will NOT do is make you better at your favorite game, if you’re not already up for it. Just like golf clubs will not make you better until your game gets to that point. Yes, the triggers are faster, but only if your reflexes are. Yes, the buttons are programmable, but only if you know what you want them to do. Yes, the controller is very comfortable, but…OK, That’s nice, lightweight, rechargeable battery or wired connection. That alone isn’t worth the price. It’s controller which will help you level up a little more when you’re ready for it. When you are…enjoy!

In our household we have 4 gamers. We game on everything from PCs to PS5s, to Xboxs, to Nintendo Switches, and even our mobile devices. And I have been a Razer consumer for years now dating back to when I bought my first Razer mouse and fell in love with how lightweight it was and just how great it was built. It lasted me all the way up until we moved, and it got put in a box never to be found again. I was so bummed I had to buy the exact same kind of mouse again. That love of Razer is something I've passed down to my sons too because I bought them Razer mice for their PC gaming too. And they too love Razer. The Razer Raiju v3 Pro gets that same amount of love from me and from us.
First Impressions
The look of the controller screams Razer to me. The color scheme (black with green) and there is no mistaking who was the manufacturer of this controller. That isn't a knock, Razer is great! The build quality is nice too. The button have a nice click to them, they feel solid but not overly stiff. It looks like it will last for years & years, which is something we plan to put to the test!

Console Gaming
The Raiju V3 Pro is probably going to spend 99.9999% of its life being using on a PS5 and so I wanted to test it out on my son's PS5 first. I fired up some MLB The Show and went into a game to see how I'd do with the Raiju V3 Pro. I did pretty well. It's been about 6 months since I've played the PS5 so I count that as a win. I next fired up a Gran Turismo 7 next. I have yet to play GT7 and so I had a bit of a learning curve but I've been wanting to play it and this gave me the excuse I needed to be able to do so! I am extremely happy that I did because I haven't played a Gran Turismo game since high school & man oh man have I missed playing it. The Raiju V3 Pro felt so natural in my hands playing GT7. It was like the controller was a part of me, the game just feel great with this controller. I don't know how else to say it or convey it. It was splendid.

PC Gaming
I figured it was time to let someone else give this controller a whirl why I watched. My other son wanted to play the new Madden, so we fired it up & he went to playing. I asked him how it felt playing with the Raiju V3 Pro and he said the controller wasn't too much or to small it was just right as far as the sizing goes; as well as the distance between the buttons was perfectly spaced. He didn't feel like the controller was hurting his hands after an extension session of gaming (4+ hours) which is great because he normally has to take a break about 2-3 hours in. We both absolutely loved the Raiju V3 Pro. Even my other son wanted to give it a go & he had the same thoughts as his brother and I. That Razer absolutely knocked it out of the park with this controller.

Conclusion
In closing of the 3 of my household who used the Razer Raiju V3 Pro all 3 of us absolutely loved it. We normally prefer OEM controllers because of just how well they usually just work. But with this controller by Razer I think we've found our preferred PC & PS5 controller going forward. The only problem is that I'll need to get one for each of us. I guess Christmas is coming up, so maybe I'll get a couple for stocking stuffers :P

I've been mostly using this controller on my PC but I've used it on the PS5 as well. This controller is so much better than the OEM Sony controller. It has a build similar to the Xbox controller which I prefer to be honest. I wish the joysticks was like it as well but oh well. The triggers also have locks so if you don't want to press down fully it stops that as well if that's your thing. Also has a bunch of re mapable buttons as well so you can re map them as well which is always great.
Inside the box
You get the controller
Case
USB Dongle
USB A to Type C cable
In this day and age I would want the cable to be USB C to USB C these days but alas we don't get one. Thats why I docked a star on this otherwise great controller. On the bottom you get a toggle for PlayStation 5 or PC which is great as well. The battery life has been better in my opinion over the original PlayStation Dual Sense controller. The joysticks are good as well but at this price I would wish they were hall effect joy sticks but oh well

Awesome upgrade to take full control of any game. This Raiju V3 Pro is incredible. Flawless controls with additional inputs I never knew I needed but now love so much! 6 programmable buttons offer expert level control and the whole thing is fully customizable with Razer Synapse software for PC or the intuitive phone app. The 4 four back buttons can be completely removed if they interfere with your grip or style of play, but I find them to be wonderful addons for enhanced control and customization. This controller easily connects wirelessly or with usb3 cable to either PC or PS5. The ultra-low-latency 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed wireless connection offers incredibly fast responses for zero lag controls that keep my movements swift and accurate through gameplay. The simple but speedy wired connection offers another level of instantaneous response, paired with the ability to play on even if I forget to charge the controller between sessions. This controller utilizes anti-drift tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks to help reduce stick drift and keep precision at its peak and help maintain focus on the target. These really help for precision moments like when aiming down sight or racing. The extra 6 programmable buttons are a clutch advantage for many scenarios, allowing full programming to do whatever you want and the remaining controller layout mimics that of the standard dualsence controller but with much more customization potential. As for use and play, I really like the grip and feel of this controller in my hands. It has slightly rubberized palms and otherwise smooth finish. I love the tactile and audible clicks of the controller’s buttons to let me hear and feel my actions. Controller comes with a very classy looking, protective carrying case to keep it safe on the move or traveling. Included storage in the carrying case keeps track of the extra thumbstick caps (convex and concave to match your preference), a screwdriver for removing the extra back buttons if you choose, and a 2 meter usb cable for charging or wired connections. I also love that this controller transitions seamlessly from PS5 to PC and back again easily, this allows me to play on either platform and switch back and form whenever I want. Overall, a very nice controller and great addition to my PS5, definitely a notch above the basic dualsense.
