The Gamepad is very good quality and works very well. The only con is the software which is cloud based so if you want to use this without Internet it will not function very well. That isn't a problem for me but others may find this to be an issue. I would give it 5 stars but the software is the reason for the rating.

I just recently become interested in PC gaming, from console. I built my own computer and was really struggling with using the full keyboard and mouse; I needed fewer keys to worry about. The Tartarus fit the bill precisely and has worked well for me. Synapse 2.0 allows me to change the key designations and store them; and link them directly to games so when you start the game the designated key map is in use also. Love It.

This is great! I don't have to stretch my hand all over the keyboard. I am able to customize it to every game that I play.

I'm a casual gamer, and this keypad works well for me. They overall design is quite good and feels a better than I thought. I just wish they wouldn't force you to have the software on the computer. That being said the software would prove to be much more useful if I played more games as it will recognize what game your'e playing and change the key functions for that game, if you set it up to do so. Summary: I can't really say that I would be happier with any other gaming keypad, but I do feel that something is either missing or could be improved.

When My old game pad broke, I realized how much I depended on it for my games. I was happy when I got this for Christmas and even more so after using it. It is even better than the original game pad I had.

Having come from a Logitech G-13 that served me for many years, I was a bit skeptical about the Tartarus. It has fewer keys and the personalized settings are retained neither on the device, nor the PC, but "on the cloud". This requires that you have internet access to make use of the personalized settings you assign to different games, unlike the G-13 where the personalized game settings are local to the PC and the device. My decision to go with Razor this time was to try to avoid some of the more trying G-13 set-up problems I did experience in the past, particularly in the case of failure to recognize the core drivers. If the G-13 software is not properly loaded and active, the G-13 is just a desktop ornament. Not so with the Tartarus. The Tartarus loaded up right from the moment I plugged it in, and the software loaded flawlessly. As I always have internet access to my PC, having the individualized game settings managed by Synapse has not been an issue. I also have a Logitech programmable G-600 mouse and gaming headset that perform just fine under the Logitech software, even with Synapse present.

Hubby got this for me for Christmas to alleviate wrist pains while playing various MMORPG's. It works wonderfully. Very comfortable and has survived a few drops from my toddler. Love this thing!!

The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars (as opposed to 5) is because there is no tartarus designed for right handed use (I play left handed). Otherwise, speed, response, game play, all outstanding.

Very comfortable and plenty of extra buttons. Allows you to make macros for everything in a very easy manner.

This helps for those of us that don't like to change the standard settings of a game. All you have to do is program the Tartarus and off you go.

very nice; just gonna take some time to get used to. Having all your buttons and funtions on tartarus is waaaaaay more efficient.

Overall a good product. Easy to setup and keymap (plug and play). I gain more control in the way I move in games, nice for first person and third person games. Only issue is I wish the cord was a little longer and palmrest was more adjustable with out spending a fortune. Other then that I love it.

This has made a big difference in my gaming. even works with Unreal tournament 99.

Its is great and it does fit my hand with adjustments and I can change it as needed - the only thing is I haven't played with settings to slow it down yet - it may be set to sensitive for me and to fast - I do tend to swap back and forth according to what I'm doing -(from keyboard to the game pad) I need to play with it more as I dont use it in some areas in my game at this point

This gamepad shows us once again why Razer is one of the best. It is extremely comfortable and has a much easier learning curve than I would have guessed. It can support multiple different key binds settings which can be easily switched as needed. Of course, we can't forget about the glowing lights and it's great design.

Why use a full keyboard when you can minimize reach and response time. Works great once you have it set up.

Kinda tough to get used to in the beginning, but once you get all your keys down and macros it's amazing.

I got this to help clean up my desk for fps gaming. Great product for this. Also works well for mmos
