I was not looking for much beyond a basic remote that would work the TV instead of us having to get up for anything that we wanted to change and that would not cost too much. It has been exactly what I was looking for and I am happy with it.

It was less expensive than a used Sony model online by at least $3.00. It works well, but we wish the fast forward would remain engaged rather than have to be held down. This perceived drawback is the only reason we did not give it a "5" rating.

Universal remote quickly synced with tv and blu-ray player. It works great for these devices. Only shortcoming is I couldn't get it to sync with ROKU 3, so still need to use ROKU remote
