The first one had a few issues. The back button wouldn't work and some of the back lights were out when I got it. I ended up returning it with the GSP and the new one seems to work fine. Set up is relatively easy to understand and after that it works like a charm. I do recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap universal remote to simplify their home theater set up.

Does all functions capable with my Samsung Plasma HDTV. The backlight is kinda weak as it doesn't light all the buttons up consistently but still easy to use

Bought this remote because my dog chewed up my last one and needed something to control a few items. I have this remote controlling a Samsung tv, Sony receiver and Apple TV. Works well with all except for the Apple TV. Took a bit of manipulating to get it to work. Once I got the remote to work, the select button wasn't working so I had to mix and match the programming, through the "program a remote" on the apple tv interface, for that button to finally kinda work. I have to basically press the "select" button twice for it to go. Overall it gets the job done.

An excellent multi-functional remote .... that actually works! easy to use and simple to program. pick all your favorite channels too and you are able to use on other T V ' s as well = NICE!! 5 ***** rating from me I would recommend this product

You can spend a lot more money on remotes. I was able to find device codes necessary to operate my equipment with this RCA remote.

I bought this remote initially because my original surround sound remote's buttons began to stick. This remote is GREAT! Instead of me using 3 remotes(one for tv, cable, and surround sound) I'm now down to 2! And to top it off it lights up which is great for movie nights when the lights are off

The remote for our smart tv did not work with our sound bar. We purchased this remote to get it all in one. It works great with our smart tv as well as the sound bar. The only annoyance is if you are in tv mode, you have to switch to sound button to control volume (vice versa).

Hate dealing with more than one remote. This was not too bad to set up, Took time but was fairly easy.

Works well for our needs. We don't have many components for which we need a remote. No need to spend any more $ than we did on this remote.

This was bought for a Vizio smart tv. It worked well and was easy to program. The tv itself can be a bit finicky about the sensor which I had to remember when it seemed unresponsive. Anytime it seemed that way, it was the sensor on the tv, not the remote.

My remote was lost during the flood water from Harvey. This remote works good I love it

Very easy to program and it worked the very first time I tried. I was very worried that I would have a problem programming this remote for my TV as I am over 65 and didn't have anyone to do it for me. It was so easy I felt embarrassed that I had been so worried. Happy I bought it.

I have a 10 year old plasma insignia tv. This tv still works like new. I lost the remote and bought this RCA 4 device remote that works tv like the original and the dvd player.

Can I give this 0 stars? I bought this for my parents who are elderly and technologically challenged. The guy in Best Buy recommended that it would be easy for them to use. Yes, it is a universal remote in the respect that it will control all your devices, however, you have to manually change the input for each device. If the last button you press was TV and you want to change the volume, you have to press the sound bar button first and then volume. Then if you want to change the channel, you have to press the TV button and then channel. My parents are never going to remember all of that. Spend the extra money and buy a Logitech Harmony. Not the cheap ones. I got the Smart Control one with the hub and it works awesome! Bought one for my parents and I have two of them. The cheaper Logitechs go through an annoying help menu asking if each device is on or off if something doesn’t work right. The ones with the hub do not.

After reviewing with the associate my needs he recommended this product and I after reading the instructions was able to set it up to operate without any problems. It was very easy. Would recommend this remote for anybody who needs to replace a remote that has failed.

Linked my bluetooth soundbar, television and apple tv all into one remote! Love it!
