You looked up the code for your specific device and entered it. Then on to the next device. It was very simple and quick to setup. It is working flawlessly.

It was easy to program and controls everything I need it to including the Roku. For the price an excellent buy.

WOW! Inexpensive and great universal remote!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, our tv remote died... we needed one to run our tv for SLING and to use our Firestick to change input, etc. easily...so I ran up to Best Buy. Well, I didn't want to spend a lot, but I wanted something with backlit buttons so it was easier to use in the dark. And we wanted actual number buttons to use to select specific channels, instead of having to page up or down with buttons. This thing was less than $20 and by taking our time and following the directions word for word - no trouble. It's PERFECT! I would totally purchase again if needed.

Great Universal Remote!

The remote for the TV in our bedroom grew legs and mysteriously disappeared. Although I wasn’t thrilled to replace it, this remote came with easy to read instructions and made it super easy to program the tv, DVD player, and the roku. I especially like the backlight function.
