I had an older TV and evidently it just did not respond to the remote. It probably wasn't the remote, so very hard to give it a true rating. It was very reasonably priced, so I tried it.

Backlit?

Bought it for Verizon FIOS compatibility and backlit keys. You have to press a Backlight button to turn on the backlight led's. They light up maybe half the keys. The pretty green color is barely bright enough to see any of the button labels. So press backlight button, look for button I want, re-press backlight button, look for button I want. I'm exhausted. If backlighting is important look elsewhere.

Taking back to store. Too many button changes. Had a Logitech and will spend the money to go back to simpler device.

Ya know that whole "universal" word? Yeah, they may want to rethink that.
Could only get power, channel up/down, and volume to work. With 150+ channels that makes for a lot of clicking...
