We purchased this remote as our original TV remote broke. It was very quick to set up our TV, sound bar, and Xbox to work with the remote. The remote has a VCR button which is pretty useless for us and I would prefer to have an additional streaming button but overall it has allowed us to get rid of our pile of remotes.

Got this remote to use with 55 inch Insignia 4K Roku TV. Would be 5 star if the buttons matched up. The home button on remote does not take you to home screen, you have to hit menu instead. Also, the back button doesn't take you back in the roku menu. Other than getting used to which buttons actually do what, it is a very good remote.

The remote is dependable, easy to use and easy to install. Very sleek and great looking. Also has a nice backlight feature. I like the bluetooth feature

I was pleasantly surprised that this remote works so well with my TV, DVD/VCR player, and soundbar. Even though my dvd player is more than 5 years old, I was able to find the pin number that was remote compatible. Each component was different brands but the universal remote operated them all.

My smart LG tv’s remote had to be replaced due to water damage and so I replaced it with this remote. I was expecting this remote to get to smart tv options but unfortunately just like my other universal remotes it just did the basic options and now I have no way of getting to the apps. I will be going through LG next to replace the remote. As for this remote, it will work for now.

I absolutely adore this remote. It's easy to use and all controls are in one piece of equipment. The Geek Squad came to the house and hooked it up for us. The only problem I have is that if you drop it, it chokes up and goes bonkers. I need to come up with something so that it doesn't drop---other than that it's a winner.

For the low price, this is a pretty decent universal remote. Programming my devices to this remote was quick and easy with the included instructions. The only complaint I have is that sometimes, I have to push a button more than once to get a device to respond, even if the remote has fresh batteries.

Colored Streaming buttons a plus for transition from Roku remote to a universal remote. Backlighting is poor for being called "fully backlit". Doesn't appear to have enough lights in all number and button areas. Need to press cursor arrows on circular ring with thumbnail to get good contact for cursor action.

I bought this because in moving I lost my Roku remote. Now I am happy I lost it.I can control everything in my house from one remote including the Roku this was the only remote I could find that would do this . I would recommend this remote to anyone who is looking for one that will control all their devices.

Great universal remote for any TV, DVD of any brand. Easily able to access the codes for an easy and proper set up. Great functions as well.

Believe it or not, my dog ate my other remote. I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. This works great. Easy to set up.

My Apple TV remote (Black Version) just one day stopped working. Apple wanted $60 to buy a new remote! Purchased the RCA on sale for $10 and it works great! Also it auto programed itself to control my TV without have to enter any codes. To get this remote to work with an Apple TV follow these very easy to use directions from Apple : 1) Open Settings Settings on your Apple TV. 2) Go to Remotes and Devices > Learn Remote, then follow the onscreen instructions.

I love that I only need one remote.. The only issue I have is I can't figure out how to eject a DVD with it ..

We bought this to replace our previous remote that was not working that well. This one is very easy to use.

Can't beat the price. I was shopping for an OEM replacement remote for my Vizio smart tv, couldn't find the controller I needed. Came into the store and an associate recommended this one. It works just as well as my original remote. Plus, it can be programmed to control the rest of my AV system.

Only thing I can't get it to set up is the previous channel button

Bought this after cutting the cable and not being able to find the remote that came with my Samsung TV. I was pleasantly surprised when, right out of the box, this worked almost flawlessly. I was surprised that there were features on my TV that I was unaware of but discovered thanks to this remote. It was relatively easy to add a second television kept in the kitchen so no multiple remotes needed. This television is connected to Apple TV and the remote controls this as well. Not bad at all for the price.

My dad has an older TV and the remote died. Since I was no longer able to get the same remote, I opted for a universal remote instead. This remote solved our issue and he is back to using he’s favorite TV.

Remote was fairly easy to program works great as a spare

The remote seems not to connect with my older JVC combo VCR/DVD recorder/player. I've tried all the codes in the book without success. Disappointing, as it was for that machine I bought the remote. I'm sure I'll use it with my new TVs.
