Initial sound was awful (tin can) but the 7 band eq set high on the ends and low in the middle made it almost acceptable. Had to explain to my 4yo girl that the elves are fixing it and will regift next year because from the outside of the box to the screen is only 1 piece of cardboard, 2 inches space and light plastic bag. A small tear in the box and a big part of the screen had lines, stuck pixels. BB has none in stock so could not replace it. Also, many people wall mount right? Had to go to the stores for the M6x16 screws that are not included, and the closest (Lowes) stopped carrying metric.

First off the sound quality is horrible, but I have a surround sound system anyway, so I wasn't worried about sound when I made my purchase. This TV was easy to set up, has plenty of inputs for just about every need, and the picture quality was better than I thought it would be for the price I paid. Overall a decent TV for this price point ($450 on sale).

After adjusting audio in every possible combination of levels, could not get a deep bass sound. Instead, there's a tinny quality to audio and the music/sound effects are louder than dialogue. Very hard to hear what's being said, (and I have excellent hearing). Putting the volume up to 90 makes it worse. Now, I'm reading that this is a problem with most flat-panels. Funny how my old Plasma did not have these audio problems. Is this how they make TV's now, to get people to buy speakers? I'm not happy with this purchase.

The online specs are WRONG this Tv only has 3 HDMI connections NOT 4 like it stats also they do not list if it has audio out but I can tell you it does

I purchased this tv on a Monday, exchanged it for a different one by Wednesday. Attaching the base and hooking it up was easy, as was the set up. Right away, you cant help but notice how terrible the sound quality is. It doesnt matter how many adjustments you make, you will not be able to escape the "tin can" sound. Next was the picture quality. I noticed everything had a yellow/green tint to it. Of course, right out of the box, adjustments are to be expected. Much to my surprise, you are unable to adjust the tint if you are using a hdmi commection. You can only make an adjustment to the tint if you using an over the air antenna. As the manual states: "Tint-adjust the balance between red and green level (ONLY available in NTSC signal)" So, I ended up taking it back and exchanging it for and Insignia LED, same size (which by the way has a great picture and great sound). Normally I would hook up a sound system/speakers but in this paticular situation, I am tight quarters and was counting on using the tv speakers.

This is a very good budget TV. I am very happy with the picture quality. As mentioned by other reviews the sound quality is lacking. For the price this is a very good TV.

Bought this tv over black friday weekend. Planned on buying a lcd but saw this one on sale for about the same price. Picture is awesome and has tons of color. Sound isnt to bad either and is normal for flat screen. Ovarall am really happy with tv!!! Will definately recomend this tv.

I received this item via store pickup and the box it came in was flimsy at best. I opened the box and the TV already had a crack in it. One of the Audio/Video ports only showed the picture in black and white. When the TV was turned off via the remote control, it would not turn back on. The only way to turn it back on was to unplug it from the wall. This product seemed cheap for a LED TV, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend not purchasing this TV.
