This is my first dehumidifier, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It works great and was a great price. The only complaint I have is that the bucket gets incredibly full before it's triggered to shut off. Because of this, I always slush water on the floor as I'm moving it to dump.

I've been using this dehumidifier daily for about a month. I especially like the timer feature that allows me to set it for how long I want it to run. It has been working great so far.

Thus far, it is an Excellent product. The RCA 50 Pint-Dehumidifier works according to the manufacturer's specifications and advertised claims. I strongly suggest to look into purchasing this product.

I have never bought a dehumidifier before, but decided to give one a try, as my basement's musty odor was starting to bother me. I read quite a few reviews, and looked at different stores, and websites , and decided the price was right , and the reviews were good for the RCA dehumidifier. I have had it for almost a month now, and so far, so good!

Well it's a dehumidifier and it works. Will it be working in 2 or 3 years we will see.

I purchased this Dehumidifier after the the 1 1/2 year old Frididaire unit I failed out of warranty. This unit was less money than the one it replaced (they probally all come from the same factory in China). This "RCA" seems to be working good so far and I am pleased with it. Now we will see how long it lasts long term.

dehumidifier works well, used to dry up basement over the summer, very satisfied

Started drawing lots of moisture out of the basement air as soon as I plugged it in. Still haven't figured out how to set it to reach certain humidity level and automatically shut off-directions are very unclear about this. Consequently, I have been manually turning it on and off.

Bought it about two months ago and it seams to be working fine.

I was having an issue with humidity in my home and this portable dehumidifier did the trick. It has to be emptied frequently when there is high humidity, but it's worth it. I recommend this product.

I bought this due to good reviews on Best Buy and have been very happy with this purchase. It is for a glassed in sunroom where my two Cockatoos live and litter with excessive dander. Due to the lessening of humidity, the dander is getting under control. I used to live in Vegas so I knew that they weren't as bad out there. Will probably buy another one of these units soon. It works well!

I have had so many Dehumidifiers over the years, None really last that long. So this time I decided to get a less expensive model. That way if it crap's out I won't be out $300.00 or $400.00. This one was on sale $170.00 so far it works as well or better than any of the others. I do have moisture problems so they do run a lot. If they are still on sale I may get another one before the price goes up.

Works great in the basement. Has no complaints so far.

My RCA portable dehumidifier is working fine,having to empty it once a day. Only three stars because made in China means it will break in one year. Will advise you when it breaks.
