Plugged it in, got 4 channels. Replaced it with a 6 foot piece of 12 ga Al wire draped over window and got 16 channels.

Whenever you change the channel you have to do a channel scan, and then if nothing, turn the dial and do another channel scan. the antenna is usless in this area.

This antenna manufactured by RCA for UHF/VHF/FM is not a good antenna. I purchased one at Best Buy. What I had in mind was to use it with a converter box that is attached to a really nice, new Sony analog TV. Reception is poor, and the antenna needs to be constantly adjusted because if not adjusted, picture freezes or you see lots of little digital squares. Actually, I'm surprised because I thought RCA made decent antennas. The flat ones they make, costing about twice as much at least, are little better, but not really the greatest either. Those have to be adjusted now and then too, especially in rainy weather. It is Not the fault of this Radio Shack converter box, that's for sure. I tested this RCA antenna with a digital TV as well. Same results.

I brought this and was expecting it to get some channels if not all. I attached it to my TV, easy to do. But after i scanned the tv for channels, it received 2. And the 2 that was found, 1 was so blurry and the other one was normal. This just isn't a good enough antenna. Even though this antenna is cheap, i still don't think this piece of equipment is worth 10.99+tax. I'm going to return it and get the other RCA one that have a higher review. If you are planning to buy one of these, i sugguest you don't.

It's better than nothing, but nowhere near as clear as cable.

Unpacked this 30 minutes ago and plugged it into my Zenith digital TV receiver. Antenna is attractive black with solid feel and 4 non-scratch pads. Nice, screw on connector, so I was ready to view. Unfortunately it received only 70% of the channels that my old rabbit ears antenna got. Turning the "fine tuning" knob only made reception worse on many channels. I'll be returning it next time I visit Best Buy. (Their 30-day return policy is great!)

I canceled my cable due to getting laid off last week and purchased this antenna so that I could at least get local news and pbs and watch what few shows I like on the network stations. I am returning it tomorrow and will try to exchange it for an amplified antenna. Hopefully I'll have better luck. According to the sales person at the store here, I live in an ideal spot for reception in the city, I'm on the right side of downtown, don't have any sky scrapers blocking the signal, live in a neighborhood with mostly single story homes, but I can not get a single channel in clearly with this. I'll be returning and trying to get the amplified RCA or Apex instead.

It does the job & I don’t have any complaints and I would surely recommend this to anyone

This antenna did not do much for me and I live on the edge of the city. Perhaps the signal is to weak out here, but I was disappointed with the two channels we were able to receive. I returned it. Not recommended in a suburban setting.

Great antenna for the price as it picked up over 25 stations quite easily.

I picked up this antenna to use with my lcd digital ready tv... when I ran the channel scan, it picked up NO channels... no matter where I positioned the antenna...

I have had more luck with old rabbit ears with aluminum foil! Of course, that isn't an option on new tv's, but this is not worth anything. The combination of two different antennas for UHF/VHF and a bunch of different settings on the dial, make this about the worst option for an indoor antenna. Can you imagine getting up and turning the dial for half your channels in search of the best picture? Or constantly adjusting the ears? Me either.

This is one of the worst items I purchased at Best Buy or any other place for that matter. I tried to collapse the antenna as gingerly as possible, but the antenna just snapped just like a twig. What a poorly built product this was. Three year boy could break it within 3 seconds. I'd never buy another RCA antenna. Just don't buy this item. It's just waste of $15.

First off: AVOID! This antenna is horrible. It is small and wont even pick up channels that my 60 year old rabbit ears pick up.

I live in a major city and i keep having to move the antenna ard to get a channel as they go in and out grrrrrrr. Its been doing this for a while and no turning the knob doesnt help plus my tv is a HD plasma. Cant wait to toss in the garbage and upgrade

My antenna that is just a wire used to pick up radio stations for a stereo worked better than this. I was not happy with this purchase and returned it the next day.

Was purchased for a small battery powered TV.Outside of a better platform, it was no better than the 6" monopole that came with the TV.

Subject did not work well I ened up returing the product. On the good side Best Buy's staff were very courteous when I returned the item

Does not pick up any stations even though I tried it in many different locations in the house.

Zero reception while w $55 antenna get 10-12 channels
