It was cheap, but gives me channels on the TV. It's less finicky than the other, much smaller antenna that I was using (in finicky I mean that I can actually walk around the room and not have it freak out on me), but in overall channels, I'm still getting the same amount (a whopping 3) that I was with the previous antenna. I'd buy it again, but I wouldn't pay any more than what I did for it.

Does the job. I needed a simple antenna that I don't have to plug in. Picks up a lot of channels in urban area. There's nothing more I can add.

I chose this antenna because it works just as good as those expensive flat linear antennas that claim you dont have to move them. You have to move ALL antennas for optimum reception. There`s no way around it. I tried 4 different one`s ranging from $19 to $55. One no better than the other. Unless you want to put an outdoor antenna in you attic or rooftop this the way to go.

Bough this with the hope of ditching Cox cable (insert groan...). It works just fine, but I really think it depends on where you live and how strong the signal is in that area.

Setup up with minimal hassle and it works by picking up several channels over the air. Nice buy.

    About what you'd expect

We bought this antenna because the home we are renting for the summer does not have either cable or satellite, and we wanted at least a little local news, etc. Obviously, there are tons of variables that determine the success of something like this, but, the bottom line is that we can now pick up one of the local channels and a few higher numbered ones. I wish it was better, but at least it's something and it didn't cost a ton of money.

This product was great when we had no cable for 7 days. The picture was very clear, but occasionally you would lose the picture and have to move the antenna until you found the right spot again. This could take a while sometimes. Also found we got different stations on living room tv and bedroom tv. But for the price it was definitely a life saver.

I bought this middle-of-the-road antenna instead of the more expensive/more attractive/more easily tucked-away flat option. I did not expect the reception to be as good as it's been. I originally thought I might upgrade to a flat antenna, but I decided to stick with this one.

This antenna works the best of all of the lesser expensive antennas that I have tried. The best antenna is the Terk non-amplified but that's over $50. This antenna works almost as good but costs less than $20. If you have decent reception on your main channels this will work. If you are trying to get a channel with weak reception, you will need to go with the Terk or an outdoor or attic mounted antenna.

This RCA indoor antenna to pick up local channels works okay for the value, but is not very good. The signals and reception are weak and not steady. Needs knob adjustment for different channels. But because I have an older TV with no USB option, this is a decent choice.

Overall I would recommend this to others who wish to cut the cable. In one of last locations we were able to pull in 20+ HD channels with no adjustments needed.

This unit was easy to set up and works extremely well. I was surprised at how many channels I receive. There are times when reception starts having static, but moving the location of the antennae helps that. For the price, it works extremely well.

This antenna worked pretty well but I had purchased another model for a few dollars more that had a better appearance and seemed to have slightly better reception so I returned this one. I was told at the store that the success of the antenna had more to do with positioning than price point and was advised to try a few different ones to find the one that worked best for where the tv was placed in my home. I had no problem with this antenna -- I just preferred the look of the other one I bought since it was flat (no ears) and looked much nicer sitting out on the media stand.

We don't have the best place to put it so I'm sure it would do better in a different location. We have three channels that have the news which is what we wanted it for so It is fine for now. It is as good as the expensive models that we tried.

We hooked it up in about 5 minutes, ran the auto channel program on the TV and we were in business. Channels 4 and 5 are line of sight and channels 8 and 2 are reflected. We have been cable free for about a month. Occasionally we have to play with the antenna to get channel 8 to be perfect. We are also enjoying one less remote and added channels over the air.

I was choosing between this product and another one that was twice the price with a built in amp/signal booster, etc. So glad I went with this one. I just just plugged it into my flat screen and the picture looked as good as cable. I was shocked at how crystal clear all the channels were.
