It doesn't matter whether I put it by a window or not, it doesn't pull in as many channels as my wall mount antenna on an interior wall on the first floor. It might have to do with my location. I also have a Roku so it doesn't matter to me. This antenna doesn't hang on the wall.

OK on some tvs

Syracuse channels do not come in.

So I returned it. I actually am getting better reception from a long line of speaker wire (!) that's inserted in the coax input on my 55" TV. I pick up KCBS beautifully (and a few others too) with this setup. The antenna's fine I'm sure, if you're within 25 miles of a tower and there aren't tall buildings and foothills in the way of the broadcast tower.

It was so easy to hook up and the picture is great. It is great for a room you don't use enough to have a cable box in, but would like to have a television when you do use the room.

I am glad I gave it a try. It works great - no problems with reception, and I get 13 channels, including WE TV! Don't miss cable TV at all!
