Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Multidirectional Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception and picture quality, along with its ease of use and the ability to receive many channels. However, some users mention needing a stronger signal and improved range for optimal performance. A few also point out that the cord length could be longer and that placement may require some consideration for best results.

Doesn't Pick up channel NBC 5

I was looking for an affordable antenna to watch NFL games. The representative was very professional but stated that this antenna could lay flat and didn't have to be hung very high or in a window. I ask that very question because I tested an older more thin plastic type model that a family member owned.Although it picked up all regular stations The only way it didn't freeze up my stations was when it was hung very high and in the window. I decided to purchase this model as it seem to be a more advance up to date current model and based upon the rep feedback. After purchasing, I did a search for all analog & digital stations and it still doesn't pick up NBC channel 5. It has been repositioned higher and over a picture frame but it still freezes up, constantly juggling with it. It appears I will have to move my furniture where the tv sits next to the window to determine if it picks up channel 5. I still contemplating returning exchanging it. I don't like the way it has to be hung, looks horrible.

    Combination Antenna/Trivet

This is a great item as it serves two purposes. BONUS! First it is a great antenna as far as antennas go. I mean, come on, if you are using an antenna these days, you are getting what you ask for. You really can't expect too much from any antennas on the market today, and this is not the antenna's fault. The new antennas are pretty much like the old antennas; you get bad reception, but different in that instead of just getting just fuzzy reception, they freeze frame, (da da da de da be be be be be da da da da da (come on, sing along, you know the tune!) and cut out completely. And like I said previously, NOT the antenna's fault as it does what it is suppose to do, it is the broadcasting system that is at fault. Since broadcasting switched to digital a few years back reception of anything over an antenna is pretty much terrible, so quit trying to get by without a monthly cable bill! Oh, but the item does also make a great trivet if you have too many hot dishes and not enough of grandma's potholders around. I recommend everyone buy this item in case of an emergency situation where your cable goes down and you need an antenna to frustrate you until your frustrating cable or (god forbid) your satellite dish is back up and... ahem... functional. Sorry, did I say it isn't the antenna's fault?

This is the second HD antenna I am using to cut the cable (fees). It is easy to set up but needs to be placed in the right place for optimum reception. Clear and HD quality instantly. It has allowed me to drop my cable service for network channels. RUKU or other device is needed for Netflix. Ideal for office or second home.

I decided to ditch cable after moving to a new house. I found I missed TV, after a while, so I went and looked for an antenna. I bought this at the recommendation of a store employee. This was plug and play and very easy to add to my entertainment system. The color matches the finish of my sound bar, so it is hardly noticeable. It seems powerful enough and picks up several channels. The only problem is that it is very sensitive to movement. Literal one inch of movement will cause me to loose the channels the antenna had found. Running the scan feature on the TV will result in a whole different set. After dealing with this problem, I finally gave up on watching TV. I had gotten rid of the box/receipt and can’t return it. So, now I just have a flat plastic plate just sitting there. It blends in with the top of my subwoofer, so it isn’t noticeable, though.

We just ditched cable and still wanted the main broadcast channels without having to pay extra for them. This antenna works great, we get all the main networks including Fox and PBS, CBS, ABC and NBC and some others I was not familiar with like My TV. The quality of the picture is outstanding. I just wish the antenna cable was a little longer. Also, we live within 15 miles of all the above broadcast towers.

I am less than 20 mi from the major station antennas, but I still get picture breakup on 1 of the big 3. When the signal is strong enough, the picture quality is excellent. Cannot place near TV. Hanging on wall near a window improves reception.

    Great Antenna

My first purchase of an antenna because I wanted to cut the cord of cable which is very expensive and continues to go up. The antenna was easy to install and I received 20 channels. I have 4 stars because Channel 13 does not come in great as it cuts out but all the others picture looks perfect just like cable TV and it's free which is the best part. This antenna is worth the money for what you get. It also depends on your area where you are located in how many channels you would get and picture quality. For me it was good. Happy purchase.

We live within 50 miles of the local TV antennas and this inexpensive antenna gets all the local channels we need. Easy plug into the TV and let the TV scan for the channels. It does not have a stand to set on a shelf or entertainment center but will lay flat or can be wall mounted. I used command strips and placed it behind my TV so you cannot see it. Still gets a great quality picture.

So, I got this, in conjunction with my Roku. The Roku gives cable channels, but not any basic, local channels, like for news. So I looked this up online at Best Buy and it was on sale. I get to the store a couple days later and it wasn't anymore, but I still got it. It's a little finicky, but it does give you a lot of local channels, it gave more than I thought it would. It needs to be laid flat, close to a door or window, and high up, if possible. Frankly, it can take a bit to get it to the right spot that the channels aren't going in and out, but it does work!! Don't think cable is the only option, the channels are out there with this updated bunny ears antenna!!

I've been very please with the picture quality from this antenna. I live in a major city with many nearby broadcast towers, so you'd think a clear picture would be easy. I bought a less expensive unit first, but had to adjust position constantly. This antenna has been plug-and-play simple...I never have to move it to to avoid pixels.

This is a good value for what I paid - hooked it up and moved it to a few different spots, which produced decent results. The cable that comes with it is a little on the short side, so I had to buy an adapter to add extra cable in order to reach an outside wall. The channels that do come in are in HD and look great on my television.

I love this flat antenna. For the most part, is barely noticeable while lying on the cabinet next to TV. Great reception. Has only went out for about 3 seconds, while 40-45 mph wind gust and storm outside, so I have been very happy. In our area, this antenna picks up about 15 local channels. Your area could have more/less.

Great reception, easy setup, works great. Only downside is that you may not be able to pick up all local channels, but that's the limitations of the tower range. For me I couldn't get ABC, but got the rest.

Okay antenna. I needed one to replace my rabbit ears because I kept losing signal on certain channels everytime the wind would blow. So, thought this one would be significantly better. It has a sleek look and is definitely a visual improvement to the rabbit ears. But, I don't find it being much better compared to the price difference from an older model antenna. I don't see justifying the price for just a half-step better. Not a worse option but there are better out there. Learning now, I believe the amplified antennas are much better.

At first I had my doubts, but I was very surprise at the quality of reception. It only complimented the Vizio TV I am using it for. The HD channels look clear and crisp, plus the apps like Netflix and Hulu work great with this antenna, and the price was cheaper than I was willing to pay.
