Crisp audio input. It just sounds good and looks the part.

I use this with a rode pop filter, mostly for discord and zoom meetings. The quality of this mic is insanely good (both sound and build quality). The only downside is the pop filter that is build inside the mic (doesn't work really well). So I had to put an ugly pop filter over the mic (the mic itself looks so good) for the best sound quality.

If you want a better sound quality in your voice this microphone is a very good choice

Perfect microphone! I listen to a few podcasts that use this, and I use it in my own discord and streaming setup. Originally I plugged it into a roland duo-capture ex interface but recently switched to the XLR dock for the stream deck plus. Fantastic!

An absolutely amazing product, I'd give it 5 stars. Though I have to take one off due to it only having the mic and no additional cables. For people who already have an interest or small hobbies that require a good mic it's not an issue. But for those who just buy it and think it has all the parts for instant use, just remember to get a xlr cable.

Was attempted to get the one with USB c but eventually figured it out its not necessary. Got the wireless one from rode to make the whole setup more versatile

Really good quality mic for the price and is good for streaming and starting a podcast if you are just getting into it

This mic is great. Just what I needed, however, I did need to buy the cords and interface from Amazon/ other stores because they weren’t available in-store. I wish the retail experience was more complete instead of going on a wild goose chase. It doesn’t make sense to sell this product, and not have the other equipment available.

This is a great pod mic and a great price plus it’s like built like a tank. I love it.

Great Xlr mic for the price. Was deciding between this and a blue spark. Glad I chose this

The mic is amazing, it is very sensitive to sound so be mindful when recording, any sound that it might be on the area it might catch it

I wanted to upgrade my mic to an XLR setup. This mic was fantastic to get up and running. It’s built like a tank and looks great. Sound quality is exceptional for what you pay for. I would highly recommend this mic to someone who wants to get into podcasting or streaming.

Pros: -Solid build quality (all metal and has as much heft as a heavy rock) -The audio quality is top notch -Built-in shock mount (although, it's so-so) -Builti-in pop filter (although, not the best) Cons: -Not as bass heavy as other mics (but that can be fixed in post) -Built-in pop filter is not the best. Either speak at the mic at an angle or get a cheap windscreen (not included) -If you have a cheap boom arm, you may have to tighten the joints immensely because this is a HEAVY microphone -XLR only (if you're on the go, you will need an audio interface or mixer of some sort, I have a Scarlett Solo so it's not a big deal for me) Conclusion: This is definitely worth throwing in my bag for traveling and setting up quickly. It is a tad light on the bass side of things BUT a bit 'bright' on the mids. Is this a better performer than my Shure SM7B, of course not. But it is one of the best mics I have that is under $100 (the Samson Q2U being my other best backup mic).

I’ve been using the Rode PodMic and it punches way above its price. The sound is full, warm, and focused — it gives that clean “radio voice” tone without needing a ton of editing. If you’re doing podcasts, streaming, or voice content, it locks onto your voice and keeps background noise under control. It’s solid metal and feels extremely durable. This isn’t a lightweight plastic mic — it’s built to last. The internal pop filter helps reduce harsh plosives, though I’d still recommend good mic technique. Keep in mind, this is an XLR mic, so you’ll need an audio interface or mixer. It also benefits from a decent amount of gain, so pairing it with a quality interface makes a difference. Bottom line: If you want professional-sounding voice audio without spending a fortune, this is a serious upgrade. It’s dependable, clean, and made specifically for spoken word.

My thoughts on the road podcast Mike is that this is a really good microphone for single podcast or duel or if you're doing a group podcast there's a real good sound quality to it it has little feedback it doesn't really require a Mike poster but I am using a Mike booster for mine which boost the game up 25 extra dB so I have more control with the volume other than that the only downfall that I have with this microphone is the weight of it Other than that the build of it the way it's put together I think they did a really good job and I would recommend this to anyone doing podcast

The sound quality on these microphones is amazing. We bought four of them and connected them to our RØDECaster for a podcast setup, and the difference was night and day compared to the cheaper mics we had before. Those had a lot of distortion and just didn’t sound clean. Once we switched to the PodMic, everything sounded much clearer and more professional. We’re working on podcasting as a hobby, and investing in these microphones has made the whole experience way more enjoyable. Even as novices, it feels like we’re using real quality equipment that makes the conversation sound great. Really glad we made the switch. If you’re starting a podcast and want good sound quality without getting overly complicated, these are a great choice.
