I've used them both as wireless mics (TX/RX) and as pocket recorders (recording directly to the TX units). Had my first issue with them yesterday on a small setup. It was set to always record when unplugged from the dock/case, the red light was on, but it did not record. I love Rode products, and I've owned dozens of their mics over the years. If you're planning to use these for their internal recording, I would use caution. The TX units don't have a screen, and only show a solid red light to indicate they are recording. I will be sadly be shelving these as I have lost confidence that they will actually work as advertised.

I was not happy to see the torn and poorly taped together shipping package arrive. Please package items for shipping so that they arrive safely. especially expensive items.
