The only case for your Switch for a reason.

I don't know why other cases do not follow this setup.

Great sturdy case for Nintendo Switch

I had it in my pack with other electronics so a soft shell wasn't an option as Switch is fairly long and pressure on it wouldn't be good. The case protects against such pressure from other items. You can also store a decent amount of games. The only catch is you can't store the controller grips (the thin pieces when you use them away from the console). So you have to carry them separately if you want to use them at your destination.
