Posted .It is important to know that we designed Reach Antenna to be used (1) with a case and (2) also when held in your hand so how you are using it and what case you have are factors in performance. It is also important to know that you may not always see more “bars” when using it so you may not realize that it is always working to improve your signal. The reason for this is that the signal strength of your phone is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. This means that often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find

A semi important call was being waited on. The antenna made no difference in my case. Maybe it worked better for someone else.

Please know that Reach Antenna is tested and proven to always be working to strengthen your signal, but unfortunately it can’t create a signal where there is none. It’s also important to know that the “bars” on your phone screen do not show you the full picture of your signal and you can have a benefit from Reach Antenna without seeing an extra “bar”. Often times Reach Antenna performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. I purchased this item because we were traveling to an area that I knew would have spotty service and was hoping it would at least help. Coupling that with the fact that it was on sale, I thought it was worth a shot. I checked the reception prior to attaching the device and again after....no difference. As we traveled, I compared my reception with my wife's and realized mine was actually worse. I ended up removing the device from my phone before our trip ended. It now resides on my ever-growing wall of shame. Sounded good, but didn't work.

Before I purchased their product, I contacted Reach and described exactly the conditions that I was experiencing regarding the poor cell phone reception I received and their reply was that their product would resolve the situation. It did not. I am disappointed and out the money for a product that did not resolve the issue.

Please use the supplied removal tool if removing the Reach Antenna to avoid bending it too much while prying it off of the back of your phone.
