In my leather apple case it seems nonexistent. It's very lightweight. As for signal, it seems to work in some cases better than others, but overall improves or maintains the connection. I get better connection in my building and elevator. And the wifi holds at greater distances from the antenna. I have not tried removing it but there is a small plastic remover tool included in the packaging.

I didn't notice any substantial difference inside my house but when I was commuting or hiking, my data speeds were notably faster and I was receiving emails/calls whereas before everything would have come in when I was back in cell tower range. I would recommend this to everyone because it makes you feel safer knowing that you have service to call someone in an emergency.

I compared my cell function with the antenna to my husband's without and I did not get better reception and while on vacation in Colorado there were only spotty improvements.

Posted .We are glad you have seen some performance improvements from your Reach Antenna. Please know that while you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen, Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.
The reason for this is related to how your phone measures signal strength, and what it takes to give you a full “bar”. Your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. A full “bar” improvement requires 10 dBs, which equals a very big 10X improvement in your signal.

Don't buy if you want better cell reception

But there is absolutely no betterment to cell reception. In fact, as other posters said, my 2 dots of reception have now mostly gone down to just 1 dot since I adhered the antenna. I would not recommend.

A better signal means your phone doesn't have to work as hard to acquire and hold a signal - - which gives you better battery life. Please know that you may not always see more “bars” or “dots” on your phone screen when using Reach Antenna. Solved my verizon signal issue in my office buildi

I am surprised to see that by using this antenna with my new iphone 6, the verizon signal issue at my office is totally solved. No more lost call or call with bad quality. The 4G LTE data also starts working with blasting speed. My other team mates with Spring and Verizon phones are also willing to put this antenna in thier phone after seeing my phone works.,
