I think, for the most part, I kept 1/5 bars but still had no signal in some areas, even with the ReachAntenna. Not really sure how well it works because I have AT&T and that is the only place I've really had a problem getting a signal. Price is reasonable.

I can't tell whether this thing is working or not and it doesn't seem to be. I feel like it does because Ive seen differences in service in some places but its on such a small scale that its hard to tell whether its this thing or just sheer luck.

Please be aware that while you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen, Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal. The reason for this is related to how your phone measures signal strength, and what it takes to give you a full LTE “bar”.
You can have a 2 dB improvement from Reach Antenna (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. A full bar improvement takes 10 dBs, which equals a BIG 10X signal improvement. When using a Reach Antenna performance is often times seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.
It is important to know that we designed our Reach Antennas to be used (1) with a case and (2) also when held in your hand so how you are using it and what case you have are factors in performance. It doesn't show in the amount of bars on my phone though. In addition, it has also started to lose adhesiveness as well. Luckily I have a cover over it so the prevents it from falling off. Unfortunately I feel like this product could be a gimmick

Even so, I turned on the field mode of my iPhone (where it shows dBm instead of just dots) and saw no improvement in signal.

As others mention you don't see additional bars but my calls seem to be dropped less frequently when I'm in 1 or 2 bar zones. The case with pull out antenna probably works better but I love my Otter case and so the sticker it shall be.

Great for places with low cellular signals

It seemed to work fine the first week or so then it went right back to doing what it did before. I have read reviews before I purchased it where some said it worked and vice versa, so thought I would give it a shot.

iPhone antenna does work

Before the antenna I had 2 bars of 3G and with the antenna I now have 2 bars of 4G LTE. It obviously allows the data to flow faster and I'm happy with the purchase.
