Posted .A full bar of improvement means your signal has improved by 10X - - which is a great improvement! The fact that you are getting a full extra bar outdoors is showing that Reach Antenna is indeed working for you. Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal but you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen, so you may not realize what it is doing for you when you are indoors. Your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.

For my I-Phone 6S, the Reach Antenna seems to consistently add one signal bar strength... Sometimes two bar. Reach Antenna is worth buying.

Not Very Effective

I have weak coverage in & near my home and it did not noticeably add bars or improve quality. I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 since I did not test or prove improved coverage by making calls--I just looked at the number of bars.

Posted .Thank you for purchasing Reach Antenna. We would like to clear up some confusion regarding your statement about “bars". Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal, but that doesn’t always translate into “bars” on your screen. Your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”.
The bars are also an indicator of “received signal" only, but ReachAntenna is actually improving both your receive and transmit signals …so there is much going on that you can’t actually see on your screen. Please note that nowhere in our marketing materials do we state that Reach Antenna will give you extra bars. What we do say is that we strengthen the possibility for greater coverage with up to 1.5X stronger LTE signal strength.

I did a series of downloading speed tests with and without the antenna. The improvement was almost exactly 1.5 times better with the antenna.
