Not too often can a movie combine comedy with a horror film. This one does a great job of just that. Grace and Alex are newlyweds and Alex’s family has this bizarre tradition of playing games on the wedding night of family members. Grace picked the hide and seek card and plays the game with the satanic family, which she did not realize when she married Alex. It’s a hilarious homicidal night until dawn.

One of the most fun horror movies I've seen! (Not necessarily funny, just plain old fun!) Watching Grace (Samara Weaving) go from longing for a family, to realizing what family she just married into, to escaping from the family, to joyously seeing said family get what they deserve...what a trip! What excellent writing! If you're a fan of horror and dark comedy that's not afraid to cross lines and potentially offend, this movie is for you. A definite re-watchable MUST BUY!!!

I watched this on a recommendation from a co worker and it is now a Halloween staple with me. It is amazing. So darkly funny and the ending is one of the best I’ve seen in recent memory. I do wonder if Samara weaving gets cast based on her screaming power alone. It’s (I hate to use this) “iconic”. Watch it now. It’s freaking awesome.

This movie was a surprise hit last year when released. I am so happy I caught this in the theater and now own it on Blu-ray. Ready or Not is such a fun and stylish horror film. Samara Weaving is absolutely incredible in this and goes through every emotion without missing a beat. The rest of the cast is a hoot also. Everyone knows what type of film they are in and they play into so well. Give this a watch now!

The year when the movie hit in theaters, my Mother took me to see it because she didn't know what else to see. So we were watching it, she easily gets disgusted when seeing blood and gore in films while I, a horror movie fan, actually enjoyed it.

Ready or Not is a really good film. In the vein of 2011's You're Next, we follow a likeable young woman who is being stalked by her new in-laws. On display is a tale of the most absurd pursuit of success in the laziest way possible: a deal with the devil. Believing they can preserve the family legacy by sacrificing whoever draws the "short straw", they hilariously attempt to off the poor girl. This leads to impactful violence and genuinely funny moments. Highly recommended!

This is a pretty great little horror thriller. It's a lot of fun and the cast is excellent, especially Samara Weaving and Adam Brody. It's a bit gory, but not overly until a little bit of fun in the climax. Expect darkly funny while still being atmospheric and suspenseful. I'm glad the directors are getting a crack at the Scream franchise.

Absolutely outstanding flick! One of the most surprising & well made horror hunt films I’ve seen. Samara Weaving is just outstanding! Can’t wait to see what she does next! The story is well written, the action is excellent, the comedy delivered by Samara & the rest of the cast is spot on. Loved it!

It was better than I thought it would be after seeing preview's of it on TV . It didn't take to long for the action to start and it did not disappoint me from there . They were not ready for her period . She came and brought it all with her ( Samara Weaving ) . I personally thought it was more of a thriller than comedy even though i laugh a few times . This is one not to miss .

Ready or Not is an excellent thriller / horror with some elements of comedy. It does not reinvent the wheel but does everything so well it is recommended for any fans of the genre. Samara Weaving is a great lead, and this film is written and directed by the creators of the new Scream (2022).

If you are a fan of fun horror films , then Ready Or Not is going to hit the spot. This is not a full on horror comedy, but has a number of fun moments that play into the film just right. Loved the unique story with a great screenplay. The actors make this file a joy to watch. The Blu Ray has a great set of behind the scenes and gag real extras, trailer, etc.

I had doubts about getting it, never heard of it and yet and still I got it along side Rise of Skywalker. The description on the back doesn't do this movie justice. Elements of Dead Alive along with So I Married an Axe Murderer and Evil Dead are there. It is by far in my opinion a better film than the other I purchased. At less than half the cost

A fun horror-comedy hybrid that will make you think twice about the family you marry into. An enjoyable romp which sees a newly wed bride having to survive her wedding night by evading her in-laws who want to kill her to honor their deal with the devil. Definite recommendation.

Great, fun movie with a good cast and acting. The movie has an original story with twists. It could be classified as a action, horror, thriller, fantasy, comedy, etc. There's lots going on in this movie. The bluray disc looks and sounds great too. I'd get it on 4k UHD if it was available. Maybe in the future.

I didn't see this film during it's theatrical run and wasn't that interested after it's home release. But some well timed, word-of-mouth reviews sparked my interest. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's part comedy, thriller and horror film with an explosive finale that's hard to forget. It's an absurd premise that only gets weirder as the film draws to a close. But if you possess a demented mind and want to have some fun, I definitely recommend this film.

I saw previews for this a couple years ago but then forgot about it but ended up finding it a couple months ago and glad I did. It’s not an Oscar winner but it’s a fun movie to watch if you don’t start thinking too much into it. Just grab a bag of popcorn and sit down for a really entertaining movie.

This movie is kinda underrated. I put this with movies like Cabin in the woods and You're next as being those under the radar sleeper hits. The movie can start off as a typical rich family with a shady life that turns into a wild hide and seek ride. It's worth a buy and talking about it to your friends.

Apart from the amazing and gorgeous Samara Weaving, this movie was amazing! Not particularly original but very well made and very entertaining. Much funnier than expected and the ending is one of the best parts. A lot of fun and a lot of blood...which always makes for a great movie experience, at least in my mind.

I wasn't expecting this film to be as good as it is! it's a wicked fun ride for those who enjoy a bit of mayhem, dark humor, bleak outcomes, and a few slightly foreshadowed twists; really good blend of everything that makes a modern horror film fun.

This is a very nice picture on the 1080p blu ray. One of the better transfers out there on blu. The picture quality runs into a few scenes with inconsistencies, but the majority of the film really pops. Especially, whwn they use natural effects like blood splatter.
