this film is just full of easter eggs and video game fan service. Sometimes its message feels heavy handed and a fair amount of the book was changed to make the movie. I think the movie came out quite well personally but I can see a persons enjoyment of this film being pretty heavily tied into if they can just enjoy the ride without trying to pick holes in the movies plot.

Love this movie! It's one of my favorites, the definite goto when there's nothing on.

Ingenious movie I say! This great movie takes place in the future with many bits of the past! The story is unique and quite fun. There was the use of some foul language that could have been left out. Overall, the cast did a great job.

This is one of kind movie experience. So many movie references to some of the greatest movies of our time through out a entering movie. Eye popping special effects will have you watching this over and over to see what you missed

This movie had great out of the box thinking and I was pleasantly surprised at how this movie felt brand new and fresh when so many things are recycled today in entertainment. Luved this movie will be one of my favs up there with the 5th element.

This is a cool steelbook and I highly recommend getting this if you are a fan of the movie. It contains the 4K disc, the Blu-Ray disc, and the digital copy. I personally love this movie and getting the steelbook version was an added bonus for me.

This is my new go to movie these days. I absolutely love the movie, and just recent picked up the book which I hear is even better. The movie is full of 80's references and hidden gems for nerds like me. Love this. All the feel goods.

This is a movie made to be seen on the big screen & in 4K UHD. This is a movie that takes me back to my childhood. As a kid who grew up in the 80's, I keep finding pop-culture references. Find a way to watch it in the highest quality possible.

If you group in the 80 to 90 your nostalgia will be hit hard by this movie. It has reference to many pop cultural elements that is hard not feel happy when you recognize it. The story is pretty good too and so is the action.

When you’re talking about an 1980’s to 2018 flick this picture is awesome to the top of the roof top. Just an amazing flick and graft to the spildberg and Robert zammekic.awsome flix well recommend if your from the 80’s to the 20th century

I literally drooled over all the care and passion the art department took when working with the movie. It is a really fun ride and I enjoy every moment of it. Totally going to read the book to see what changes they did to film from the book

After seeing this movie 10+ times, I still catch little easter eggs I've missed in the past viewings. It has great 80's nostalgia and those of us whom were/are gamers will enjoy many games/ movies past having cameos throughout. Great movie!

Caught this movie on sale I believe on Black Friday. I didn’t expect that I would enjoy it as much as I did. A lot of parts took me back to my childhood. It also paints a realistic picture of what the future of the world may be like.

There is a lot of references to the 70's, 80's, and 90's video games and pop culture. The overall theme of virtual reality being are lives, seems not too fun to me but the references to old video games and finding the keys was pretty cool.

Recently had purchased 900f Sony TV and 4K Ultra HD player! I chose this as the first movie to watch through my system. The viewing experience is second to none highly recommend this if it's your first viewing experience on 4K Ultra HD!

I loved this movie. It had so many memorable characters appear in it briefly. It's one of those movies you have to watch multiple times to catch everything. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it or even if you have!

Saw this movie on a plane and enjoyed it. I watched to see it in 4k or blue ray and decided to purchase during black Friday. I love the references in the movie and plenty of action and comedy thrown in. Definite bonus with digital copy.

I got this movie during the black Friday sale. The sale had technically ended however the prices were still up so the cashier honored those prices. $6 was a great deal for a movie that includes the digital copy which I love to have.

Ready Player One is Spielberg's wonderful take on the RP1 story by Ernest Cline. While there are some changes from the source material, it's a good film in its own right, and the worlds within the Oasis look as good as I imagined them.

If you own a 4k setup with Dolby Atmos, this is a reference disc that should be in your library. Excellent A/V presentation with good use of height channels. Movie brings out a lot from my childhood. Excellent stuff.
