I think DJI has growing pains from meeting demand and took shortcuts to fulfill orders. :-/

I actually thought that it was the charger and exchanged the entire drone. Once I received the replacement, the battery that came with the drone would charge fine, the extra that I had previously purchased would not. I exchanged it and the new one charges fine.
