"20 foot zone of protection"? Please. As others have mentioned, I've had mosquitos land on me when it's sitting 2 feet away. I've resorted to putting it on the ground and putting my feet over it just so they don't get bitten up. Then the mosquitos land on your arms. It's just not an effective tool. It heats up a liquid that is put into the air like smoke. And like smoke, if there's even a gentle breeze... there goes your "20 foot zone of protection". On the most calm day, it still seems an extremely ambitious statement. I equate it to an air freshener in your house. It might smell up a room in your house, but if you set it outside, how effective would it be? Complete waste of money in my book. Should have listened to those reviews that said the same thing. Bummer, really wanted it to work.

So far, I have noticed a minimize in mosquitoes where I have placed this item. I’d like the fact that you put it where you are and it covers 20 feet of the surrounding area. Also, once you stop, you can get a refill, which is not messy at all to change super easy .
