Ok, let me get this right. I have to pay for a "recycling" fee. But what if I never turn it in? I still have the TV I'm up grading for 15yrs. So is the recycling for that TV? Or is for the TV I just bought? SO when it's time to get a new one, will I get my fee back when I recycle it? No, I didn't think so. Will it go to a recycling plant, where they will sell it in bulk and make money on it? I'm just confused. lol Just on a rant. What's next, we have to pay for paper bags at the supermarket. And we cant have plastic bags any longer.

I keep getting emails asking me to review the "products" that I've purchased, and this one shows up as something that I haven't reviewed yet. Anyway, I'm annoyed by this fee. I used to understand how computers would come in big boxes and generate a lot of trash, but the tiny Chromebook that I bought came in a simple cardboard box and that was basically it. That got put into my recycling bin and was smaller than the average Amazon box that I have show up at my door daily, so I don't understand the need for this fee.

I don't remember recycling anything. They should be paying me to recycle. Not the other way around! What is the recycle fee for? They're getting rid of stock, why should i pay a fee for taking a product off of the sales rack. If anything the customer should be getting paid for future recycling when the product becomes defective and needs to be replaced! I pay extra for warrantee, extra for special services .... Don't sell the product if it is capable of breaking down in a year!

Purchased a refirbed Think Pad, many items failed to work properly, received a second which was worst than the first. Tried to return it to the store as instructed I could, they would NOT take it. Spent 45 minutes discussing this with BestBuy.com, which I found out is NOT supported by the stores as advertised. The long and short of this tragic encounter is a refund. I was going to by another Think Pad from Best Buy but after this I think I'll go to Frys.

Well, obviously I'm not happy paying the recycling fee, but if it's mandatory and maybe it goes to some good cause, I can live with it :)

I was surprised I had a recycling fee. I felt when I bought the tablet online it should tell you about the recycling fee and how much it is before you put it in your cart, just so there's no surprises. But I guess I can't complain too bad because I saved $100 on the tablet purchasing it on black friday. No, I would not reccommend recycling fees to a friend, because nobody likes fees.

I had to pay the recycling fee without a choice. Feels good to be helping the environment (hopefully) regardless.

I understand it's the law, but fees kind of aren't good. Two stars -- fair, but sucky.

This thing is the absolute worst purchase ever! Don't waste your money, get an HP or Mac. You'll be happy to have paid a little more for something that isn't going to break after four months and will cost you twice as much to repair.

It is odd that there is a recycling fee when buying a new iPad. I did not bring the man in the blue shirt anything to recycle. Perhaps BB used the money to bolster drink receptacle recycling programs in their retail locations.
