I guess this is a standard, I wish we knew what and where the funds are being used.

I m wondering why we pay for recicling fee when we purchase something new

I guess this fee is needed to fund programs that protect the environment.

This thing is the absolute worst purchase ever! Don't waste your money, get an HP or Mac. You'll be happy to have paid a little more for something that isn't going to break after four months and will cost you twice as much to repair.

It is odd that there is a recycling fee when buying a new iPad. I did not bring the man in the blue shirt anything to recycle. Perhaps BB used the money to bolster drink receptacle recycling programs in their retail locations.

unfortunately, there is no way to remove this line item when purchasing a new computer. it does grant you disposal of one laptop in the future, whether or not it's the same one originally purchased.

When I looked at my bill I was surprised about this charge I purchased other electronic items in the past but never paid attention to this fee. Always read ur receipts- lesson learned

I’m not going to lie...Bot only do you have to pay a fee when you buy electronics, you have to pay again to recycle them for the most times. California has TOO MANY FEES!!!

what does our recycling fee pay for? It sucks that we have to pay for recycling fee and we can't recycle the product at the end of its life through regular recycling bin.

I don't understand why this is reviewable. I don't like all kinds of fees being added in to a purchase. They should be included in the purchase cost being advertized.

$5 to recycle the laptop...i wonder how/where this is allocated since i see it on just about every electronic device I buy, no matter how big or small.

And where does the money go? I'm not planning on getting ride of this tablet anytime soon, why can't I pay for the recycle fee when i get ride of it?

Recycle fee is a form of tax that does not do what it supposed to. The fee is collected but no enforcement of the actual recycling of the product.

I know why we have to pay this, but in reality it is just another Tax. I will always pay my taxes and try to recycle. But just call it what it is a tax.

Uneccesary and weird tax that’s added to electrical devices and has no real use or purpose other than creating money to pay for nothing.....
