We need to pay for proper handlings of potentially harmful materials to our environment. Everyone must do their part.

I hate that you save up money for something. Then go to buy it. Then find out what was advertised is NOT how much you're going to pay. I know it's not Bestbuy's fault. I get that they HAVE to charge this fee. But, it should be advertised in the price. So you know it's part of the cost. It HAS to be charged. So why don't they include it in the listed price. Very frustrating.

I'm grateful that Best Buy is mindful of our environment and for a minimal fee will confiscate our waste responsibly.

This is a fee added by the state of California as a way to offset the cost of reclamation when the product is obsolete.
