I really like this game. There are a number of paths you can choose to follow. Playing online, one of my favorite things to do is to play poker in the saloons. This one is grand theft auto on horseback. Give it a shot.

I thought God Of War or Spiderman would be going up for game of the year this year, but along came RDR 2,this game is in a league of it's own when it comes to overall entertainment, it's probably the most realistic game out there and it should be an obilgation for every gamer to play this masterpiece.

It was worth the wait. This game is great. Couple of notes: If you played the first game and it has been awhile like it was for me, I'd suggest just reviewing the major story points and characters on wiki...It'll pay off. Also, if you're a parent, these games really aren't for little kids. Just FYI.

Amazing visuals. Doesn't mess with the original RDR's formula and game mechanics. The context specific controls are a bit clunky at times. The "handling" of the main character through the environment is finicky at times. Overall, it does not detract from an the immersive experience this game offers.

RDR2 is one of the most critically acclaimed games of the last few years. After playing it for several hours, I can understand why. The world is enormous, the attention to detail is incredible, and there is more content in this game than I can possibly imagine completing.
I take away one star due to the fact that the game moves at an incredibly slow pace. The animation to retrieve an item from a defeated enemy takes 4-5 seconds. You can spend several minutes searching a room for important items. It can take 5-10 minutes to travel from point A to point B on your horse. In general, the main character walks very slowly and deliberately. Failing a mission can sometimes mean having to take the same 5 minute horse ride that you just took, so that you can try it again.
It is a great game. If you don’t mind a very slow pace, and like taking in the vast amount of visual detail and story that a game like this provides, you’ll love it. After playing for about 5 hours, I’ve decided that It’s just too slow, not my kind of game. Impressive but not for me.

The difficulty is my only complain. After getting used to the stupid hard hardcore mode where they hit you with a pistol further than your sniper can shoot in RDR1, Im destroying this game in a bad way. have to wait for hardcore mode. But its great like you've heard everywhere else.

I have been playing this game for 2 days now and love the free roaming aspect of the cowboy world. Hard to be a good cowboy in the game with the friends you hang out with are always getting into trouble. Excellent game. Be prepared not to jump in immediately since the game takes about 106 GB.

I had been looking at this game for some time now. When it went on sale, I jumped at the opportunity to add it to my collection. It’s one of the most amazing stories that captures your attention and submerges you into an epic adventure.

The open world is great, the graphics are just as good as the grand theft auto and it is always fun to play a western game where the "law" is only a suggestion. The hardest part about the game is remembering which buttons control which actions. If you want to "greet" someone, you might end up actually doing something you might regret and having to start the mission over (or get chased by the law). Just like Grand Theft Auto, walking slowly is a little awkward. There is not a whole lot to complain about. Play the game! Have fun!

The pace of the game might not b for everyone, but I think the slow pace of some of the missions perfectly reflect the era. You are on a horse or traveling by foot, not a car. It allows you to take in the environment and the rich world they created. The ,uktiplayer is fun too.

The graphics are awesome on my Xbox One X and Sony 4K HDR TV while playing RDR2.. The game play is fun after a little "tutorial" type of a beginning which can be a little slow, but once you get into the game for a bit, you will be glued to your TV for endless hours. RIP work!

My fiancé wanted this game after hearing a bunch of reviews so I got it for m for a gift. He likes it but it’s a little open world for his tastes. I’m a huge Zelda fan and it seems right up my alley when I watch him play. If he gets tired of it I’ll probably take it over!
