Great subwoofer amazing for both music and movies pairs with my definitive technology d15 very nice

I had read good things about Rel. I was in need of subwoofer due to my 11yr old Klipsch aub dying. I gave it shot and have not been disappointed. For a sealed sub I was really surprised at how much extension this sub puts out. It has great, fast, & accurate response. The sub isn't boomie but digs deep. The compact size makes easy to place anywhere. The build quality is top notch. If you aren't a fan of the plastic grey feet, Rel does include low profile rubber feet, which further reduces the overall footprint of the subwoofer. I'd highly recommend this subwoofer. I own several SVS subs and this Rel is on point with SVS sb-1000 which I also own.

I picked this because its a REL. It will not disapoint for HT. Its actually a steal. My use is 80 music 20 HT. This does not satisfy my musics needs, I have a Minx x 301 that is superior to this. If HT is your need you cannot beat it at this price. I did return it.

Hooked this up to my 7.2 surround sound Denon receiver and love it. Being a huge fan of extra bass, I’m able to add a 2nd sub but have more than enough with this one to shake the house.

Love the bass and how it fills out my system for surround sound joy. I would recommend this no questions asked.

As it is sealed sub - it puts out good tight base without any rumble. I bought this to compliment some KEF LSX speakers- and so my use for it is purely for music. Perfect for this. I imagine it would also be a very good home theater addition. My home theater is the Sony A7000 Soundbar and SW5 sub—— but I would use this REL sub for both music and home theater- if needed

I'm using this subwoofer in a 2.1 channel system which is side by side with my 5.2 home theater system. Fast, articulate and deep bass is more than adequate for my needs. I may swap this out for my home theater system eventually, but I'm enjoying it too much at the moment for music listening. Solid sub, especially at the sale price that I got it for. Highly recommmended!

I did not want something that would take up a lot of room. I replaced a much older ported 8 inch sub and this really sounds good. Although I was concerned a small sealed sub would not hit hard enough, its a nice improvement over my older unit which was bought with the same limitations in mind. Don’t expect this sub to rattle the walls. However, if you want a controlled and refined solid base sound in a small package, you should be satisfied.

I purchased this subwoofer primarily because of the size. It had to fit a specific dimension in my living room. Don't expect chest pounding bass, but it does add that missing low end. It was $350 on clearance. Not too bad. Remember, theres no replacement for displacement. I can see this working perfectly for a smaller space.

Incredible! This sub is fast and clean. It allowed my Klipsch The Fives to concentrate on the mid and upper frequencies which they perform best. Even though I have my Rel sub in a small room, I'm going to buy another for a dual sub setup.

Great little sub for the price. Bought it for 349. Tight bass in small room placed in corner, not boomy and not weak. Bought a 2nd one directly from the REL website. Sounds amazing with 2. Highly recommended.

The Sound is very fine and precise without overshoot or excessive rumble although it sounds slightly small in a large room unless you use 2, with 2 it sounds incredible like a much bigger sub

While this sub will not keep up with some of the more expensive ones if your looking to integrate with stereo speakers it's amazing as far as home theater you might want a little bit more output

REL make high quality subs that are attractive. This is a solid hybrid LFE and music sub. Way more musical and faster than other comparable subs in this price range. But if you JUST want it for movies you may be better off with another product.
