Got it for the wife. She loves it. She had a Chi one I got her for double the price and she likes this one better.

HAVE ALWAYS HAD FULL FRIZZY HAIR THAT WITHOUT MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF PRODUCT AND TIME SPENT STYLING....BIG MESS. BOUGHT THIS AND LITERALLY FEEL LIKE MY HAIR HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED. I SPEND MAYBE 10 MINS TOPS AFTER LETTING MY HAIR AIR DRY AND I DON'T HAVE TO IRON MY HAIR AGAIN UNTIL MY NEXT WASH! HAIR IS MUCH SOFTER NOW TOO!! :) GET IT!!

My daughters have thick curly hair and this gets it the flatest i have ever seen (after a blow dry). I love it, I want to buy another for a back up, but they are out of stock! It has a nice compartment for water to steam (the water is not messy). Its amazing exceeds expections!

This is one of those "you get what you pay for items." I tried to save money and the item worked well for a couple of months but gradually started retaining less and less heat. After 1 year, I had to return. It was pretty useless.

It's too big, it's hard to use, you can get better irons for the same price.

I have a mix between 3c and 4a hair. Its coarse and thick and hard to straighten with most flat irons (Means it takes multiple run throughs and a few hours to do). I was so excited about this and the macadamia oil and had read reviews on how well it worked and how all hair types can use it. This is not for all hair types. I used the macadamia oil and my hair felt dry. I had my hair done at aveda to be disappointed to frizzy and not fully straightened hair. So I went home to use this to get it straighter and there was no change. I did multiple run throughs on small amounts of hair and no change. Ive tried this with and without the steam. Without the steam, it doesn't really straighten. With the steam, it straightens a little. The higher the temperature that I used with the steam, the more it hissed and steamed out all the moisture in my hair leaving it dry and brittle. Also, 3 months after using the little part that keeps the magnolia oil from spilling out stopped working properly and wouldn't help it to stay sealed. I ended up taking it back being fed up and using my geek squad insurance to get a replacement/get rid of it. Luckily they didn't have this anymore in store so I got my money back.
