The Best Buy Tech was great. The HUGE problem is with the Harmony Remote....No longer harmonious! A Big Blow to the audiophiles is that Logitech has stopped production of the Harmony line of 'All-In-One Remotes'! While Logictech says that they are still supporting their product line, companies such as Roku are no longer providing code changes which makes the Harmony less functional. Contacting Roku to 'support' Harmony with code changes resulted in Rokus folks telling me..."well you should be using the Roku remote instead of the Harmony. Of course the flaw in all of this is that Roku does not support ALL of my equipment...Sony Bravia TY, Yamaha Theater Amplifier, Sony DVD Player, Turntable, and of course the Roku Streaming device.... whereas Harmony has supported All of them. And now that Roku changed the functionality of their device, some Harmony adaptive functions are no longer possible. I am begging Roku to 'fix their bugs' and share the code fixes to Harmony. As mentioned, a great loss to ALL audiophiles as their is/was no other device on the market like the Harmony.

We opted to upgrade to the Harmony programming while an entire sound system/speaker install was being performed. It is a little pricey, but the installers were very patient with our questions for use and requests for adding certain programming features. There is a bit of a learning curve when first using the remote, but once you get used to it, it is pretty simple and makes using all the peripherals much easier to use and operate. Also, switching between different sources is much easier with the remote than without.

I finally updated my 12 year old TV and sound system with a new grouping from BB. I use to be able to hook this stuff up with a fair amount of understanding. Now I'm just to out of touch with this latest in electronics. So I had the Geek Squad come out and handle it. They did a fantastic job and my TV and surround sound system sound amazing. Really enjoy movies and Blue Ray so much more. Thanks for the recommendations on this smart remote. One unit covers the entire system. Great idea and buy.

While delivering our new 60" smart TV, the delivery guys/Geek Squad also reprogrammed the universal remote control that we had been using on our previous TV so that it would work on our new TV. They listened to what we wanted it to do and programmed it to do it. Since we had paid a good bit of money for the universal remote not all that long ago, we were very happy that we are able to continue using it on our new TV.

Due to the newest Samsung Blu-Ray player having a problem making it not work properly he had to come back another day with a 2nd Blu-Ray. It also did not work. He came back again. Then he finally made a 4th trip with a different model of Samsung Blu-Ray and it finally worked. He was fantastic in the effort he put in toward our problem. He installed the Blu-Ray, got it added into our home network, and added it to our Harmony Ultimate remote control. It was not his fault, but he worked like a dog for us.

Edgar was terrific! He called before he came and arrived on time even though he had to come from the New Tampa Store. Edgar went right to work, understood our system and began programming our universal remote. He was very knowledgeable and presented himself professionally. The Geek Squad agent set up, who set up my new remote was great! He had it done in no time at all, and was happy to answer our questions. My husband was having a hard time seeing the up and down volume arrows on the black remote so I put a dot of white nail polish at each end of the volume and he's happy now. We love the Geek Squad Service, and have always been happy with it.

I'm not a tech savy person and needed help with combining the TV, Bose system and media box remotes to be used with a universal remote and the Best Buy Geek Squad was able to help me on this matter. They are knowledgable, and were fast on installtion.
The only con was scheduling. Due to limiting staff and availability they are a week out on appointments.
Overall very satatisted with service and will us again on future purchases and installation jobs.

Kevin McCarthy reprogrammed my Harmony Remote in a short time and it works perfectly. He also helped start up new Definitive Technology speakers for a 7.1 surround sound system (repositioning 2 old speakers as part of the 7.1 system. He took the time to do it right and it is great. Definitely would want Kevin backfire any future work.

The agent reprogrammed our old Harmony controller to work with a new TV, old Denon Receiver, Internet access, and Bose theater speaker system. The goal was to simplify system turn on/off, input selection, program selection, and audio control. It is a limited improvement over the collection of controllers.

Fantastic customer service from the 2 GEEK squad technicians that arrived at my residence to program my new REMOTE CONTROL to my entertainment center. Both technicians were professional,knowledgeable, respectful and provided me with a wonderful tutorial on the use of my new remote control. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Discovered that Harmony has stopped supporting remotes. They did try to program for new TV but could not get all the functionality. They did have a work around that worked very well.
