Somehow, after reading online reviews and reading the blue ray case during my purchase, I missed the part stating that I had just bought a movie done entirely in a foreign language (Finnish I think). Subtitles adequately conveyed the plot. The tattooed henchmen are always a plus.

I usually will not watch dubbed films but this is good in spite of being dubbed. RENDEL is very violent but it creates a hero (not superhero, he has no powers) that is dark, sullen, relentless, doesn't use weapons, doesn't speak and never gives up fighting seriously evil doers. His ominous and intimidating suit is created in a very clever manner. One thing this film did really well was keeping RENDEL's identity and purpose a mystery through most of the film. They give his backstory in bits and pieces as the story unfolds. As you come to realize the horror perpetrated on RENDEL you see why he is so driven for revenge. When he gets that revenge it is thoroughly satisfying. Despite being dubbed this film has a great musical soundtrack and great audio. The fight scenes are very well done. Recommended.

I'd been wanting to see superhero movies from other countries and found this one in the $5.99 bin. Honestly I only got about half way through and gave up... It wasn't completely horrible, and may have improved if I could have hung in there...

This movie to me was a very interesting knock off of deadpool but not as good. But the action of the movie was good that I did enjoy

While not up to the US standards for a super hero movie, this one did just enough to keep my interest. Not the best....

I enjoyed this movie, it’s definitely watchable. Give it a chance, you might enjoy it

Really good plote and how he became the RENDEL character, you need to see the movie to understand what happened to him.

but I saw the blu-ray for $6 and took a chance, I'm glad I did, it was entertaining and thats all you can ask for, especially for the $$

This is a horrible movie. Finland's version of a super hero movie. Thank goodness there was at least English dub. I would have never made it all the way through the movie without it. The acting was horrible and who ever wrote the script needs to watch super hero movies to get a better idea of how it should be done. It was in the bargian bin. So i guess you win some and you lose some. Don't waste the money.

A fun action-packed movie, it's worth it if you like the likes of the Punisher.

Kind of like Batman but a little more real. I liked it.

it was a $6 movie. I should've spent a few extra $'s for a better one.

I was not familiar with Rendel when I got this movie but the cover was good enough to make me purchase it and it was a good one.

Story is slow and not real clear at times but not a bad one time watch sets itself up for a sequel but a red box rental if I've ever scene one. If you like super hero movies scoop it for the collection in the 5.99 bin.

If you like spawn and dark bad #@$ movies you will totally enjoy this movie can't stop watching it it's different...

Wondered why I never really heard of this movie, and now know why, it’s in a different language and not released in the USA
