overall I think the original game is the true classic, but this is a great game in its own right and includes a substantial number of improvements and new features that the original didn't have. I recommend you play both!

Though I enjoyed the original RE4 entry, it was not the RE entry i was hoping for but this remake is EXACTLY what I wanted. More emphasis on horror, keeps the fun action gameplay, amazing redesigns and characters fleshed out more. Definitely a close to perfect game in the RE universe !

Resident Evil 4 is back. Ever since Capcom started rereleasing Resident Evil titles, I was nervous. Truly felt that RE4 didn’t need a remake given it already shook up the formula back on the GameCube. It is a true delight seeing these old areas again in a crisper way. Those who haven’t played and those who have will enjoy plowing their way through Genado threats to save the President’s daughter.

Out of all the remakes of the resident evil series this is honestly the best of all 4 remake 1 stayed more true to the origInal but remake 2 went downhill a bit since they took content out and remake 3 wasnt even worth the money. I can safely say this is without a doubt worth more than all resident evil remakes yes it takes some things out but adds a bit more yiu can do overall skip the first three remakes and just buy this one

I played the original on PS2 so it's been quite awhile. It's surprisingly a little harder than I remembered in the beginning but gets more manageable as it goes on. It was a fun time going down memory lane and I thought it was worth full price. It's too bad the Ada Side Story isn't readily available and they don't have some of the cool replayable weapons like the laser gun, but still great to play again after over a decade.

Just beat the game, it was fun if I was better or in the mood I would replay this on a harder level or new game plus for the perks. I was able to play this one on easy without too much online search help. I really enjoyed it, maybe not one of my top favorites but I put this up there with the remade RE2.

Best remake there is. The visuals, the gameplay all from dismemberment, gore, and crafting. The mechanics such as parry is a well needed feature. The free update DLC is great also, and addictingly fun aside from main story. The main story follows the original in a close manner but differently at the same time. Over all, this remake is outstanding and well worth the money and time investment.

As a big fan of the Resident Evil franchise I was hesitent on the announcement of the RE4 remake. Going in blind (no reviews, spoilers or let's play) I was not disappointed in the least. As someone who was planning to buy the origianl before getting a GameCube (when both first came out), the original has a special place in my heart. This version has done the original proud and worthy of all the praise.

I started getting into Resident Evil and the entry is an absolute gem! It’s fun and challenging for newcomers, but once you get the hang of how things work, you can even speed run it! Incredibly addictive gameplay will make you want to replay it over and over again to discover new secrets and improve your skills! It’s now one of my most favorite games of all time!

Resident Evil 4 remake continues Capcom's presence as a juggernaut in the game industry. Featuring modernized gameplay, a reimagined but faithful storyline, and keeping with the Resident Evil remake's lineage of vivid graphics using the RE engine. It's safe to say that this iteration is a must-play for all survival/action horror fans, as well as newcomers to the genre.

One of my all times favorite games now on the PS4, with amazing updated graphics and story!

I played this game back in 2005 and absolutely loved it! It felt like a nice fresh start to the series in general. With the remake I knew I had to have this game and so far it does not disappoint. I’m not that far into it yet and just rescued Ashley but from what I have played this game is already a masterpiece in my opinion!

I cant wait to play on my free time because I've played every single resident evil from original to remake and like i said before i cant wait.
